Actually the other name of the city is “Budweiss” … that’s what Budweisser was named after. Budějovice/Budweiss was famous for it’s beer from 13th century (and had special license for beer export in Middle Ages)
Je dobře že poznáváte i jiná naše města .Je zde plno zajímavých míst .Turisté mají většinou v paměti hlavně naše hlavní město Praha , které je sice krásné .Je však škoda že neznají i jiná města .
I live in ČB and your video is so nicely made it makes me wanna go out there anyway, even when I saw that thousand times. Paluba restaurant actually used to belong to my family before my uncle sold it years ago to build his retirement home in the mountains at austria borders :)
Man, you are so knowledgeable :D I am from Budějovice and you really said everything correctly haha your describtion of Svíčková, history of the square, how to travel around the city, everything wow wow wow :D
"Budějice" is a really nice city, I visit it from time to time because my dad and a few of my friends live there or near there (btw the whole region is great) and I've even lived there for about a year and I've always loved it there 🙂
One full day is enough to see all Ceske Budejovice. I recorded the video in a day from 10am to 5pm (excluding the Hluboka Castle part). It is maybe worth it to stay night before so you can start the day early enough. . .Or continue in evening to Cesky Krumlov for example to stay the night there.
Hello sir i am Mohammad Arshad and I am from India i have done 2 year vocational course in motor vehicle I get the job in czech republic in mainifacturing fiends but how please help me
You forgot to mention, that you can fly to České Budějovice since for some godforsaken reason, the politicians decided we need an international airport. There is probably no commercial connection, so this applies only to people with their own airplanes.
@@NashTereza Alternatively, you can sail to there, since the same politicians decided we desperately need a port. So about 30km of Vltava can be sailed. There is a ship connection to Hluboká, just very expensive and slow. Some rental boats should be available. Good bikepath follows the river, it is about 10km long ride from city center to the castle, mostly through nature, with three places to buy refreshments on the way. Very popular cycling place with locals.
Thanks for stopping by in my beloved hometown.
I go to school in Budějce! It is nice to see somebody so happy in places, that are something ordinary to me😀
I didn't know that beautiful city. Take note for my next visit to prague!!!

Thanks for the video Nash, thinking of going there on sunday, do you think 1 day is enough to enjoy the city or recommend staying one night?

1 day is definitely enough. Everything is walking distance. You can get from Merkury to IGY in around 40 minutes walking (maybe even less).
V Budějovicích by chtěl žít každý
Co to je za blbost?

O občanství je možné žádat až myslím po deseti letech a musí se složit nějaká zkouška. Své zkušenosti vypráví i Jenny na kanálu Dreams Prague .

Black guy is super guy
"I came here with low expectations" that's cause you talk to too many people from Krumlov they like to hate on Budějce 😆
😄 some parts of the outskirts are different from the center
