Since I watched the T1 vs Gen G comms my perspective on T1 have changed almost completely, I used to see them only by who they were inside the game, but after seeing Faker, the unkillable demon king, trusting and following other’s calls and the team itself being able to win fights without him show how strong their bond is and how they can rely on each other. They play as a ONE single unit and I love it. It’s hard to see a team as connected as them. I also forgot to mention that I love seeing them showing emotions, even Faker who always tries to be the pillar of the team, at the end of the day they are humans just like us.

It’s crazy to think about it that I was a 14/15 YO kid when I started to play league and saw Faker for the first time. Who could predict that he will be such a legend of this game. Not only him but also Guma, Keria, Zeus and Oner, they are the only players that became worlds champions twice in a row in the same team. They are not only best players in the world, they also look like best friends that can count on each other no matter what happens. I hope every single one of them will become legends of their roles as Faker did

Goosebumps everytime, watched it live, watched replays, and finally with voice comms. Everyone on T1 are gifted but Faker is truly one of a kind. When they needed it the most, again and again. Delivers. Legend.
You could just see the difference in his play coming into Game 4, like he became the sensei master of the team and didn't want to let his juniors down. The solo kill on Elk into the insane Rakan Ult engage after a missed arrow I had to keep playing it again and again. Everyone including Faker missed some mechanical plays (1 person Renata ults, missed arrows, missed Sylas stuns) but with this roster they have the confidence to make the play instead of cowering away the moment it's not perfect and I honestly think that catches teams off guard. They think "Oh arrow missed, they won't engage, we have a chance to engage if we reposition now" into T1 diving them irregardless.
Zeus had a great series, Keria was pretty good too, but man... Faker was just on another level. Faker this year's Worlds decided to just lock the fuck in and play like the protagonist he always is!

can we just talk about how this series is possibly one of the best in recent bo5 history? great variety in games, in picks, in game plans and the excitement you feel from both teams just randomly spiking with great heights. game 1 to 3 are one sided stomps which just shows the utter domination both of these teams can bring out and that they're always decisive in picks always ready to come out full swinging, and as the series progresses we see the priorities in draft evolve as well, who would've thought that from the start of worlds the final mid pick would be a galio despite the syndras, yones, smolders, ahris and oriannas of the world, and how fitting it was for game 4 and 5 for t1 to showcase their clutch factor to its full potential and faker turning back the time and playing out of his mind as if he's still the same guy from 2013! one of the best worlds finals definitely.
If you actually watched one of the T1 documentary vod. iirc T1 management want ZOFGK to be their only roster for as long as they can. So i hope they can offer them more and run it again
This team man is something special. You can say what you want about the regular season but this team is the best in the world. First year they lost finals on 1 game. Second year they went against the entire LPL with the giga strong JDG and beat them all. Thrird year they went from barely qualifying to destroying LPL #2, beating they domestic kryptonite and winning in a close series against the LPL #1 They may not have had the best regular season but they truly ascend to unreachable levels when it matters on the biggest stage. Zeus shutting down Bin on his signature champ, Oner having a monster nocturne game, Guma being the most consistently good ADC there is, Keria absolutely dominating on renata, and Faker proving why he is the goat in game 4 and 5. Previously it was faker that was the playmaker and if he crumbled the team crumbled with him. Now all 5 of them carry that weight, and can finish the job when Faker or anyone else falls
And the caster's kept mentioning they went to game 5 vs KT, but they also went 5 games with DK as well. I'm sure that pressure back then helped them a ton coming into game 5 vs. BLG. This match had me on the edge of my seat!
I still think faker played a more pivotal role but ngl if they somehow did not give the MVP to Faker, Keria deserved it 😅 He played really well (except for the g1 Braum though all of them got gapped g1 really) esp. on the last cancel on Ahri's TP.
Doesn't matter how many times I watched it, that last fight was just PERFECTION all around. Faker using E perfectly dodging EQ combo coming out of Zonya, Keria interrupting Knight's TP, and the amount of time Zeus bought with that perfect QR combo on Elk traping him between the wall and the tower.

Nah i think its because this whole year was a lot harder for them the fact they still came together and won really means a lot. Tbh they had a much harder road in worlds last year than this year. BLG isn't that much stronger than they were last year even if knight is a big improvement. They had to make outplays of their lives against JDG. Geng was their biggest obstacle this year.
I remember the old 2015 SKT with Bang, Wolf, Bengi, Marin. I always looked back at those as the golden years of SKT but this T1 roster is just so much more iconic. T1 always seem to just win teamfights even from behind, it's crazy

When I watched that last battle the first time I didn't even notice Keria interrupting Knight's TP but that was honestly one of the most important parts of the fight. Seeing him on the Comms now I can see that he made sure to shadow Knight knowing that Knight had his TP up. Seems like an obvious thing to do in retrospect but really great heads up play by Keria.
BLG gave a great fight and it's super respectable. Banger series, nail-biting teamfights, seemingly impossible team synergy, ultimate macro and micro skills from both ends. As a T1 fan, really shoutout to everyone in T1 for playing out of their guts, never giving up attitude, crazy team synergy capitalising on their opponents mistake each and every minute. Crazy to think that from 2013 to 2024, he only missed Worlds twice. 2014 and 2018. Worst group stage record is 5-1. Until now they've never lost more than 1 game in Swiss/groups. Never failed to make top 4 in all 9 of his Worlds appearance. And he won 5 times in those 9 years. He has a higher win rate at Worlds than I have on my silver promotions.😂

This years GENG is one of the most underachieving rosters in league history. Most likely the biggest super team of all time and they win only 2/5 competitions. Got embarrassed at EWC. Choked in the summer finals while being an overwhelming favourite. Then barely beat NA at worlds after which they lost to T1 despite being favourites
I would say GenG really was not it…it’s who’s curse is more and who buff is more but T1 worlds buff is diff and GenG worlds choke shows. BLG today gave us a heart attk match but as T1 fans they did very very good and this win shut those haters Faker is carrying this team!. I don’t care what happen after this or what not this is enough prove and his team is there too when needed!.
the biggest super team is definitely JDG. 2018 KT or 2016 ROX is among them with GENG. All rosters to win worlds and all have failed. Although i don't consider peyz to be a worlds winning adc.

can we just talk about how this series is possibly one of the best in recent bo5 history? great variety in games, in picks, in game plans and the excitement you feel from both teams just randomly spiking with great heights.
game 1 to 3 are one sided stomps which just shows the utter domination both of these teams can bring out and that they're always decisive in picks always ready to come out full swinging, and as the series progresses we see the priorities in draft evolve as well, who would've thought that from the start of worlds the final mid pick would be a galio despite the syndras, yones, smolders, ahris and oriannas of the world, and how fitting it was for game 4 and 5 for t1 to showcase their clutch factor to its full potential and faker turning back the time and playing out of his mind as if he's still the same guy from 2013! one of the best worlds finals definitely.

This team man is something special. You can say what you want about the regular season but this team is the best in the world. First year they lost finals on 1 game. Second year they went against the entire LPL with the giga strong JDG and beat them all. Thrird year they went from barely qualifying to destroying LPL #2, beating they domestic kryptonite and winning in a close series against the LPL #1
They may not have had the best regular season but they truly ascend to unreachable levels when it matters on the biggest stage.
Zeus shutting down Bin on his signature champ, Oner having a monster nocturne game, Guma being the most consistently good ADC there is, Keria absolutely dominating on renata, and Faker proving why he is the goat in game 4 and 5.
Previously it was faker that was the playmaker and if he crumbled the team crumbled with him. Now all 5 of them carry that weight, and can finish the job when Faker or anyone else falls
And the caster's kept mentioning they went to game 5 vs KT, but they also went 5 games with DK as well. I'm sure that pressure back then helped them a ton coming into game 5 vs. BLG. This match had me on the edge of my seat!

The TP cancel was huge but it wasn't really a hard play. Faker's flank on Sylas and his Galio play were a lot harder to pull off

Nah i think its because this whole year was a lot harder for them the fact they still came together and won really means a lot. Tbh they had a much harder road in worlds last year than this year. BLG isn't that much stronger than they were last year even if knight is a big improvement. They had to make outplays of their lives against JDG. Geng was their biggest obstacle this year.

When I watched that last battle the first time I didn't even notice Keria interrupting Knight's TP but that was honestly one of the most important parts of the fight. Seeing him on the Comms now I can see that he made sure to shadow Knight knowing that Knight had his TP up. Seems like an obvious thing to do in retrospect but really great heads up play by Keria.
BLG gave a great fight and it's super respectable. Banger series, nail-biting teamfights, seemingly impossible team synergy, ultimate macro and micro skills from both ends.
As a T1 fan, really shoutout to everyone in T1 for playing out of their guts, never giving up attitude, crazy team synergy capitalising on their opponents mistake each and every minute. T1 winning a tournament with a "World" title on it when they win both EWC and World Championship (T1 literally created their dark horses run like DRX 2022 in World as 4th seed LCK). The fact that GenG and BLG, not only failed to make Golden Road but also failed to have undefeated streak in regional league, also BLG cockiness after beating T1 twice in MSI just to get revenged and beaten triple time by T1 in EWC and World Champ at Swiss Stage and Grand Final💀
This years GENG is one of the most underachieving rosters in league history. Most likely the biggest super team of all time and they win only 2/5 competitions. Got embarrassed at EWC. Choked in the summer finals while being an overwhelming favourite. Then barely beat NA at worlds after which they lost to T1 despite being favourites
