As soon as I saw the movie, I IMMEDIATELY knew I needed to make the hat 😂 thank you for making this! I'm still learning to crochet and this is a fantastic help ❤
I just watched Across the Spiderverse and I wanted to make the hat that Mayday was wearing!!! This is a perfect tutorial!!! Thank you for taking the time to do this!!!
Usually, I don't comment on videos but I just had to for this one! I made this in under 6 hours and got LOADS of compliments. Thank you SO MUCH for this wonderful and easy-to-understand tutorial.
i decided to make a spider punk version where i basically just made peter parker but then crocheted some spikes to go on it as well, im almost finished with it and it looks amazing!! thanks for making this video!
I'm a super beginner and I honestly wasn't sure if I'd be able to do this but this video was super helpful and my hat actually turned out really well! Thank you!
I cannot wait to make this! I have an upcoming road trip and I’m totally gonna crochet this. I’ve had three people ask me to make this for them! This tutorial is great ❤
I made this, and here are a few things I adjusted: (it’s all minor things, nothing against the creator it’s an amazing pattern) -I added a few more rows of double crochets to the round while making the base of the hat bc my head is on the larger side, so if you have a larger head I suggest doing around 8 or 9 dc rows. -I did 2 layers of blue (or whatever trim color) for the border of the hat because I was using a slightly thinner yarn and I wanted a thicker border -whenever making the webs, be aware that there will be loose strings that I recommend hot gluing back or sewing it so you don’t accidentally pull your webbing out -both the webbing and the eyes need to be placed lower than you think.. I made mine sort of too high and it’s hard to easily see it when worn so I definitely recommend trying it on and finding eye and web placement before starting to put them on (the creator says this but I really wanted to reiterate) Also ty to the wonderful creator for this awesome beanie pattern! Mine turned out amazing and I will definitely be making more for my friends
i gave up on the webbing and ended up making the hat longer in the back however it turned out so ADORABLE!! it was genuinely a trust-the-process project with mine though as i used a hook that was WAYYY too big for my yarn and it turned out to have many little holes in it, but it's so cute and i'm happy i didn't give up midway.
If you want to make it fits you perfectly you can find your hat size! 1. measure around your head (it can be inches or cm). 2. then you want to take a calculator and multiply this number by 3.14 (pi) 3. then once you've started to create the circle part of the hat, measure its diameter 4. you keep adding rounds until it reaches your hat size length (diameter) for example, my head measure was 52.5 so I multiplied it by 3.15 then my hat size is 16.7 then I added rounds as the video showed until the diameter of the circle was 16.7. then you just decrease as normal I hope this helps i actually explained it well lol
@@randomandanextra when i wear it its so tight and its too short aswell i searched and i see that there is differnt size of hats but still dont know how to do it
@@eco21270 I understand, and you followed the tutorial this exact way? If you followed the tutorial for this RUclipsrs hat size then maybe her hat size is to small, so my suggestion is to do more rows with increases to help expand the base of the hat and then continue to do the rest of your rows with no increase after you finish the increase rows. I hope that helps if not maybe I can try to help you further if there’s a way we can contact each other?
TYSM for this tutorial i just made my spiderman beanie and it turned out so good I wore it to go watch the movies w/ my friends and they all complimented it (def begginer freindly)

I crochet a lot, And I'm just going to tell you a really cool thing that I found, If you can go to your local craft store or Amazon and get fabric glue, It not only will last longer and not break down like hot glue eventually does because it's not very flexible, You won't be able to feel it as well between the two yarns 💓
so glad i found ur channel cuz i just made a bolero following ur tutorial after trying a diff tutorial that was so hard to follow 😭 but i’m obsessed with this i need to make it immediately
omg thank you so much! i messed up the last time making this beanie with another tutorial, it was waaaay to big, at least 63cm round😂 but i’m currently finishing the base of the hat with yours and it’s going amazing so far! i’m very new to crocheting - yet would like to practise a lot more! - and i’m sooo happy to actually craft something entirely myself. tho didn’t know yarn can run out lmao, so have to get another piece for the ear things. ty so much, it’s so inspiring, i’m going to follow your other tutorials when i’ve finished the beanie. all the blessings🤍🩵🤍🩵
