  • Adoption and Orphans.
    Living in Thailand.
These two words, Adoption and Orphans have had a prolific impact in my life. Both have personally affected me.
So, when purely by chance, meeting up with subscribers who through circumstance, have had both of these things directly affecting their lives too, I knew that we should sit down and talk.
Ann-Lis and her husband, Michael, met up with Pook and me where they were staying at the Pannarai Hotel, and shared their fascinating story regarding Adoption and Orphans.

Amazing life Ann-Lis has, I hope she will get her Thai citizen soon, I have the same issue since i was adopted by GI too, I am US citizen now but I still have my old Thai passport from 1972 but I cannot figure out how to get my Thai citizen or new Thai passport so I can easily go back to Thailand and may retire and stay there.

Beautiful real-life story. I know both of them. They are a nice couple, and they are still supporting the Bethany Home at Loei. They are very grateful.

Thank you for getting in touch,
Within minutes of meeting and speaking with Ann-Lis and Michael, I was intrigued and knew that she had a wonderful story to share.
The subject of orphans and adoption holds a special place in my heart due to circumstances from my own childhood.
We called into Bethany Home earlier today. Ann-Lis and Michael introduced us to Maria and Porn. We were shown around and told about the wonderful work that is being done there 🙏

What a beautiful story, we have a close Thai friend who was raised and educated by a self funded orphanage run by a Dutch lady. She started a forest resort and gained sponsorship from individuals in the Netherlands with all profits going to the support of children both in the orphanage and the community. Remarkable people that have left a positive mark on the world.

Great video. I hope she can learn more about her father from USA. There are so many positive unification stories in America over the years related to the war and situations like this.

My adoption kept me closer to where I was born.
Found out when I was 32 that I had been living just a few miles from my biological family.
Never met them as they had already passed by the time that I found out.
