Does the trolly only do pick ups from the c parking lot? I love the idea of taking the trails to the house but also love the idea of watching the sunset lol I’ll have my 3 kids as well so I feel like they won’t want to make the trek back to the car lol
Yes, there is a separate ticket for the carriage rides, you can find them under the activiites tab on their website www.biltmore.com/things-to-do/activities/full-activities-list/?_sft_activity_type=horseback-carriage. I would set aside about an hour to do the self-guided tour of the house.
I thought the winter was beautiful but wow the gardens are amazing! Love that pond with the elephant ears! So HUGE! There are some great tips here! They have lovely horses! Thanks for sharing this Christy!
That's good to know about needing to get the house tickets before I go! I probably would have waited. I had no idea!!!! It's good to know about those other sunset locations too. I'm a sucker for a good sunset!
We're normally prepared for rain here in Scotland 🤣 still looks lovely in the rain. So many activities to do also. Off road land rovers would be great fun.
I don’t know what specialty tour your looking at. 🤷🏼♀️ For the house: The backstairs tour is $40 The rooftop tour is also $40 The small group tour varies depending on the group www.biltmore.com/things-to-do/activities/tours/

Is there a separate ticket for the carriage ride? How long does it take on average to do the self-guided tour of the house?
