I love your work! This is pure nostalgia. Happy Independence Day.
great job matey and remember that DTS logo very well
I went to see Independence Day at the cinema when I was 12. What a movie! 👽
I knew that you would upload a cinema reel for this during this time😂
I saw this at Odeon Leicester Square and the biggest cheer was when they showed the trailer for Star Wars Special Edition
Sounds like I got short changed. Saw it twice in the summer of 96 and didn’t get the STAR WARS trailer on either viewings.
@@UKRetroReels I saw it twice as well first time at Hatfield Odeon and got the trailers as you showed it here and second time at Odeon Leicester Square, I think Star Wars Special Edition trailer was a limited release at the Leicester Square odeon but got a full release before Star Trek First Contact
First Contact is when I remember seeing the trailer on the big screen.
Independence Day and The Fifth Element great summer movies of the 90s.
So good work
Thank you! Cheers!
I freely admit the only reason I saw "Independence Day" in a theater was because I'd heard they were running the really cool trailer for the upcoming "Star Wars" Special Edition re-release. Did that trailer run in the U.K., as well?
I don’t remember seeing it in the UK. I think the first time I saw a trailer for STAR WARS SE in cinemas was in the October half term break.
😂
