Looking good, also i can think of a few things ;) - tiles behind the stove - a corner trim a long all corners - important is to do something with the kitchen unit to seal it, that stuff doesn’t look like it would handle moisture well was quite 😅 nervous about the snow Other than that, nice job! Like the floor maybe an a lick of paint to make an accent wall. But off course it all costs money. Don’t berate yourself too much or congratulate yourself too much either in the words from everybody’s free to wear sunscreen.

The life proof flooring is expensive but quality, have had it in my house for years with dogs and a child. Has held up better than anything else we’ve ever had. Looks good!

I love your new haircut! WTF, it’ll grow back eventually. A few of my male friends do it every spring. Be aware that the texture may change as it grows back. One of my friends went from stick straight before the shave to a really tight curl until it grew out enough to style it. The cabin is looking good. I like the ceiling more than the floor, but they both look good. It was neat watching you getting everything done and then straightening up the cabin again. The satisfaction of finishing a big project is so exhilarating!

Totally looks upgraded with that flooring. I have been so scared to try putting down flooring myself, thank you for just going for it! It gives me courage to try.
The floors really look great and make it feel like a finished home. I’ve done glue down vinyl interlocking planks for my first floor in my camper, and did interlocking vinyl in a cabin that will be rented to a friend. Getting started is the hardest part. But once you get in a rhythm it goes quickly. Both projects took a day. For the interlocking vinyl I bought flooring cutter and it made all the difference for speed, and I can use it for future projects.

Ha! Love the hair, or lack of. I've lost my hair a couple times in recent years. So I am no longer attached to it but I focus on the positives: cheaper, (no shampoo, products, paid for hair cuts, gas to get to said haircuts, faster to get ready). I get cold, but that's where beanies come in. Love the ceiling & floor. It's looking like a home.
Been watching since your first video but this is my first time commenting. Great job getting this far, it’s been a real inspiration to watch. I’m sure you get tons of suggestions all the time, but I just wanted to say, if your land has that much issues with flooding, perhaps consider excavating a large vernal pool, or even a proper pond. It would help manage the flooding by directing the water away from the more desirable areas of your property, it would be very beneficial to your local wildlife, and it would be nice to look at. You seem like the kind of guy who would enjoy throwing yourself into the research on doing it all the right way, and excavating and adding marginal plants, etc. would be great material for future videos further down the line.
I had considered building some kind of earthen wall for keeping out water that I could also use as a platform for raised planting beds, but a pond would be very, very cool 👀 I might have to do that. Thanks for commenting! Glad to have you :)

You might want to think about anchoring your bookshelves to the wall - in case of an earthquake - which do happen up here quite frequently! It is something to consider when placing things on shelves also. I say this from experience! Looking good on the finishing of your nice cabin!
