@nono the movie took a different direction than the book. the book described the monsters and what not but in the movie they decide to leave it out and only be seen in the guy's drawings. Also the ending in the book was WAY better (they were forced to blind themselves vs already being blind). Still a good movie!

I love Sandra Bullock. She's easily one of my favorite actresses. Extremely talented. And she just has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor. There's nothing wrong with that. :) Sometimes people's sense of humors don't mesh but you never know maybe they do get along behind scenes but it didn't translate through camera.

I thought she looked a little posed because Sandra was like “that’s it..” - rightly so. She’s a huge star and she just asked basic questions.
Yeah. All she had to say about the movie was “it’s great, really good” “him? Yeah oh yeah he’s great” seems like she hasn’t even seen it. Like her producers gave her the sparknotes version before she walked on stage. And the rest of the interview was so awkward on Ellen’s side....if Sandra wasn’t hilarious and leading the conversation it would’ve fallen so flat.
I adored Sandra Bullock since Speed! She’ll always be my favorite actress! 🤗

A Quiet Place is about an alien invasion. Bird Box is about real cultural ideas about the end of the world. It deals with different beliefs of spirits that see our wrongs as humans and punishes us for them leading to the end. From an outside perspective the movies seem very similar, but when you actually watch the movie it is a lot deeper than you think.
