When Hoda said "When you were 41,42...." I was like, how old is she now, looked it up, Sandra is 53 years old! I cannot believe it! She looks freaking amazing!!!
In 1989 I adopted a Korean baby boy--then in 1990 his biological sister was born (in Korea) and I adopted her, too (lucky me!). I am Dutch-American--so, it's obvious there is racial differences. Even after all these years--friends ask me "Didn't you WANT your own children?" I always say, "Yes, I wanted and GOT my own children--you are looking right at them". Once and for all--no matter HOW your children find you--once you "adopt" them--they are Forever Your Children. Namaste, Chelsea
Chelsea Lee CONGRATULATIONS!! 👏🏻❤️❤️❤️ I've ALWAYS been pro adoption, one of my best friends of 28 years and her sister, are both adopted and we've had many discussions. We also have other friends who went through this painfully long and intrusive process TWICE, and both times fall pregnant naturally after many tests, treatments, also VERY intrusive especially for women, to be told it was NEVER going to happen for them. They found out the day before they were to sign all the final paper work with their very first pregnancy! And you can't adopt if you're pregnant. Even though in their case, it was considered a "high risk" pregnancy and the weren't guaranteed a baby!! But they were honest with the adoption agency and their process was stopped! Fortunately they had a beautiful little girl!! But they said they'd still have given a child in need a home, and they're incredibly kind and loving people! It's so sad they were denied that opportunity as was a child. But I have NEVER heard adoption explained SO very eloquently and perfectly!!! And that's no doubt the very truth of the matter for all adoptive families?! In these sad times that we live in, there are more children needing loving families to call their own than ever before. Adoption is a beautiful way to show these children the good in life!!!
E Po - You are absolutely right!! Many people spend up $100,000+ on the "new" fertility treatments--and that may be the path for them. I believe, once ALL children in the world have loving homes--then, I will have a conversation about the treatments. I decided when I was 14 that "IF" I were to be a parent--I would find a child that needed LOVE--it NEVER made sense, TO ME, to made another one. Both of my adult children have asked about their "own" potential for adopting a child from Korea---so, hopefully--THIS is OUR family tradition!! Peace and Love, c.
‘For the kids that were waiting for me!” Adoption is a wonderful. I just wish people who haven’t adopted would stop assuming I love my kids less. The adoption process can be grueling and is not for the faint of heart, but it is worth everything! There are two many children in this world who need a forever family. Be brave, love awaits you.
It's awesome to see two very humble, though incredibly public people get "it". Thank you for sharing your stories, that there is no "box" and you were meant to be with these incredible children. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them with you as their parents. You both have such humility and grace, love to you both!
@@katie3449 Who cares! It's her money, her face, her choice! She's absolutely beautiful, and clearly has a heart of gold, so is that REALLY the only comment you could drum up?? Sad....
This meant so much to me, as I am an adoptee. I am so thankful for what my mom has done for me. Such thoughtful and smart words. It all makes sense. I wish more people would consider adopting. I'm a teen, and I know I want to adopt at least one child.
That's so beautiful. I truly don't feel biology has anything to do with being a parent. It's all about the great love and bond you share. True love is not so much physical as it is spiritual.
You get a car! Still no justification on using babies skin And why not kids from North America? Kids are from very poor countries most likely orphans etc. If you wouldn't volunteer your kids then is not acceptable for those poor kids. What happened to natural plants and all other good stuff? Just like Helen said CARMA IS REAL and no To forget that if it's get popular there will be a black market for it you know what's that mean for the future
I have been an on-again, off-again fan of Sandra Bullock from the very beginning, but seeing her in Blindside, it confirmed to me my love for her as an actress forever! God Bless You Sandra!
This interview not only gives me hope to find my place in the world some day but also helps me connect with my femininity, which I’ve been struggling with since forever. So incredibly thankful to have stumbled upon this.
Botox alone would not keep her so young and gorgeous. It's about taking care of ur body and eating healthy and exercising. Her beauty is so toxic that it causes her to look younger too
I admire Sandra Bullock. I've enjoyed watching her in films for years. I just think she is a beautiful and classy woman. She is in touch with herself and others. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a highly sensitive person- maybe it's the commonalities I see that make her stand out. Lovely to hear how she came to be connected to her children and enjoying the journey of motherhood. I have never wanted my own children- but strangely have been open to adoption. God knows my future 🙏
I’m adopted and a product of foster care, my mom has always been the mother I never had, I’m also thankful for her family even accepting me also as a member of theirs. It has not been the easiest journey even after foster care...
When she talks about her mom saying, “not young, not 17” because she knew Sandra wanted to be a mom, is EXACTLY me with my mom. I’ve always known that motherhood is my calling and what I want to be someday. Sandra is so inspiring and a role model for all ages, those kids are lucky!
They both had me crying. I've always loved Sandra as an actress, but this story is so inspiring. The love she has for her babies is so powerful. She's blessed to have them and they are blessed to have her!
I wish they'd showed the 5 minute hug that I know came after this, woman to woman, mother to mother. Sandra's reaction after Hoda says "thank you" (6:07 - 6:14) is just so vivid. Beautiful talk.
Sandra Bullock is a spiritual being. Love her! I love the mysticism in her eyes while talking about the miracles for her adopted children. Just Beautiful!
What I love is that it's about the children. It's not about what they want for themselves. They see children in need, they become mothers. That is true selflessness and true mothering.
As a Mother I so get it and I'm sitting here with a box of tissue now connecting with Sandra Bullock on a deep level. And Hoda too bless her heart. Doesn't matter how our children enter our lives. It's when they enter our hearts regardless of how they arrive. Wow so glad I happened on this video. It made my day!
I had this same moment when I became a stepmother. My son and I found each other. He has a close relationship with his birth mother, and he now has two mothers. Being a parent is what I always was supposed to be. Thanks Sandy and Hoda for sharing their stories.
I've never come across anybody more angelic as Sandra. no one more beautiful or more kind. she is the definition of an inspiration. I used to watch movies just because she was on the cover. She made the characters she played better. not only that but she makes the world a better place. There is no reason not to love her.
Sandy on motherhood and adoption... I know (and proud at the same time) to myself that when I adore someone, it is not just because they're pretty or glorious... I adore who I adore because of their STORY and their IDEOLOGY. Story and ideology are my "tall-dark-and-handsome". Story and ideology are what I find interesting to a person... And hearing Sandy discuss adoption and motherhood in her early 40s is soooo beyond perfect. I love people who are feelers and fillers of the numb and empty world of today. I am an adopted myself and I totally respect women like Sandy who choose to help in the best way that they can..
Was just thinking ..why are actors' interviews usu. so boring.. Prob. Cause they refuse to give any piece of themselves away- not Sandy. Very inspiring!
Oh wow, the part about Louis at three talking about his "daughter" coming! I've had the same kind of experiences with my children and grandbabies when they were little. They are still very connected to spirit and will tell you what they know if you will have the ears to hear. It's touching and beautiful and awesome.
My co-worker’s father is an armorer and movie extra. He got to work with Sandra Bullock in The Heat, my co-worker said Sandra was very nice and delightful!
Such wisdom- she always knew she wanted to be a mom, but had to become a much better version of herself to be ready for it....it's so inspiring in how Sandra said, as time gets closer maybe even within a few years of your miracle happening. The feelings and desire to love someone becomes much more present in your life whereby before it was always with you but didn't cross your mind as much. It's only a sign that you are being prepared so as to be ready to accept and be completely at peace in living the destiny you never thought could be possible. Makes me cry it's just so beautiful how God can give you so much more, than you ever dreamed possible.
I really admire Sandra, she is a very special woman. I wish more black foster children find such love in the world. I love how Sandra make sure these kids know who they are, culture and everything. She is a great human being.

Whatba beautiful interview from a beautiful human being. Them 2 both starting to cry at the same times and how Sandra Bullock would tell her to look away and try to lighten the mood. Shes just a beautiful hearted person and i her babies and her were meant for each other. God bless them all. ❤ 🙏
She is simply lovely! Sending her lots of love from the South of France! Bless you, your kids & your gorgeous man! Shining family they are! I wanted to adopt at least 6 kids...
I love Sandra Bullock. I had all of her movies until I hit such a bad financial spot in life that I had to sell them all just to be able to have money...lol. She is an awesome woman.

GenieY23 kink of sad but then again age doesn’t matter
yes...BOTOX!!!
It’s because she gets baby stem cells from korean babies injected into her face 😊
I can see in her eyes, she’s a loving mother. There’s nothing in this world equal to a Mother’s love.

Please do your research before judging...
Michèle Paradis sorry I'm not judging she said it herself on the Helen's show the last time she was there and she is not the only one using that
Yes, but that treatment uses tissues that would be discarded. Please!
