They Found Titanoboa in a Coal Mine

- Опубликовано: 8 окт 2024
- The discovery of Titanoboa, a giant snake that lived 60 million years ago, has led to speculation that snakes could grow to enormous sizes as the Earth's temperatures continue to rise. Some snakes, like the African rock python, are already large enough to pose a threat to humans.

Spoiler Alert: They found the *skeleton* of a Titanoboa.
Ah ty
No surprise, 80% of earth are still undiscovered by mankind, we even dig only 12 something kilometers, 96% of water bodies are yet to discover nd the biggest mystery is our earth itself..Just wonder's...
there was alot more oxygen when the titanoboa was alive, and it was a LAND ANIMAL, the only case of things we thought were extinct coming back to life was a DEEP SEA FISH.
we've explored alot of land and besides, the climate is not suitable for the titanoboa anymore, sorry
The outer space is the only thing mankind got far on exploring than the bodies of water
Ya they should discover the earth first n then go waste money in space
Yes ooh
80% of the oceans haven't been discovered ocean not land there has been land that we haven't set foot on yet but not no 80%
They broke the glass! 😂 I love scientists, they get so passionate and excited about stuff. 😁

With all the massive snakes in the Everglades, I wouldn’t be surprised.
05:23 It's cool 3D effect!
So what if you were to recreate a chamber that was just hot enough to have python grow to excessive sizes ?
The star of a scary horror movie? Nightmare fuel? 😨
chamber of secrets haha
It doesn't work like thidat
If you put a snake in a sauna it wouldn't magically gigantify overnight
The heat would cause snakes to evolve over time and grow bigger and titanoboa probably could have lived for over 100 years
@@LazyIRanch haha it would be the start of a very lake placid type movie
@andrew macmillan hahahahaha, maybe it's because I used to vacation there but this cracked me up😂
that's probably the real Lochness Monster.
I wonder why scientists say these animals extinct i mean they looked everywhere or something when literaly 80%of ocean and earth are still not discovered
maybie this channel with barely any confirmation to what they're saying is the one who's lying? just saying.
Maybe if they do exist they would hunt humans....yes a lot of the earth has not been discovered
@@semoneg2826 if they did we would know they exist
but they dont anymore
they died out before the first species of human

Amazing how they know how fast it could swim just from finding parts of a Giant snake 😂
I stopped watching when they said how fast it could swim.🤣
Lab can even tell how many hours you sleep in aday using your hair. There's nothing science can't say about our activities in body.
Its called science. The same thing involved in the creation of vaccines etc.
Scientist sure are given a ton of leeway when it comes to their surmisings’.
Titanico is much more like a giant garter snake
They said to be constrictors but most of the things they eat weren't big enough to actually requires squeezing
They could have swallowed a live crocodiles like modern garter snakes swallowing frogs alive
I always get amazing information from here thanks❤️
not really, like if the titanoboa still exists we would've known long ago trust me, like it would've been in world records and stuff.
@@afewofmycommentsarecringy.8646 yeah you are right but I was talking about its history the jaw part one on the fossils I found out that one amazing but yeah you are right I agree with you

Its not climate that dictates size in reptiles its the level oxygen. The climate of the Columbian Amazon basin is the same as it was then the difference is measured in the strata which puts the oxygen level estimated at >5% of current levels.
I see you too watch these videos for proving them wrong. A true man of culture
@@sharkpersona me too lol
Oxygen levels back then were a lot higher and more dense in most parts of the world which is why we had megafauna and megaflora.

Let's be honest, what energy is there to waste chasing slow humans, just go to a crowded location and swallow as much humans as possible, it's be like an ant eater hunting in a anthill😂😂
cars exist my friend, and we can run quite fast
probably a bit faster than something weighing like 5 cars
@@afewofmycommentsarecringy.8646 lol, that's true, until you're stuck in traffic 😆.
Although I don't think the titanoboa will be keen on swallowing people with the cars they're in. So I believe live stock ranches would be a suitable target and stadiums
@@t-masterrules5085 also here's a copypaste from one of my other comments cause i dont wanna come up with another variation rn because its about 1 hours before i need to go sleep:

I don't know who made this video but the pictures related to the names that they were saying are all wrong. you're showing pictures colubrids and python as you are talking about a boa, when you are talking about a scrub python you never showed a script python the initial picture was a ball python. I specialize in Australian carpet pythons so I have to know quite a bit about a lot of different snakes from different regions, this video was hard to watch

Papua New Guinea is a country on its own.........it’s not Australia ❤❤❤
What is the difference between venomous and non venomous snakes teeth?
fangs don't equal venomous lol
@@jeep1987
Except that they 100% do.
(lol, hyuck, hyuck)
Non-venomous snakes do not have fangs, cowboy.
@@StandedInUtah
Non-venomous snakes' teeth are just...teeth. The fangs of venomous snakes are hollow and work kind of like hypodermic needles, injecting venom.
Those things fold up when the mouth is closed, and unfold when the snake goes to bite.
It's hard to believe snakes have bones
not really
Lost me at as the temperatures in the world are going up .

So, is the Medusa the snake Medusa (the evil goddess) owns that snake?
no? the titanoboa is (or should i say WAS) a real thing before it died with the dinosaurs
Medusa is not a evil goddess rather she's a guardian of a temple something like that.

“If you’re freaked out, don’t worry, I am too…” - the language used in this video is a little strange at times, like whomever wrote it didn’t have a lot of experience using common English prose… ie - the speaker suggesting that him freaking out is a reason not to worry. Makes no sense.
I think its real but controversial. We do too early estimation..
