i have had lightroom a while and have learned more in this 20 minutes, than i have in 6 months of trying myself. thank you. please make more editing videos with lightroom.
Without a doubt, the best instructor on You Tube. Your 20 minute introduction in Lightroom has motivated me to give it a try. Thank you for what you do.
Great video. This old photographer started with B&W Rollei 2 1/4, Graphic 4x5, and Omega D-2 printer. Now trying to enter the 21st century and you are helping immensely. Please keep making lightroom teaching aids.
Thank you. This was a very helpful video. I appreciate the way when you are showing the tabs for the various functions, you zoom in, so we can see and read them easily. Most of the tutorials neglect to do that and leave you guessing what exactly - and where - to go to affect the effect they are telling us about. See you again!
I just started my free trial of Lightroom. This really helped on basic operation of the program. Your videos have taken me out of auto mode and now working in an editing and storage program. I have gained more in a week I have been watching your videos than I have in the last year. Thanks, from a beginner.
Thank you Genius! Been waiting for this video for a while now. Learnt so much from you and please keep making editing videos more. There's no explanation that i can understand better than your!. Appreciate you man!.
Thank you! I have been using Lr for 5 years now, but needed to clear it and start over fresh. Really helped me to pick up a lot that I missed the first time.
Hi, Paul! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge of Ligthroom with the world. I've had it in my computer for a couple of years now, buy I was stuck in Photoshop. After seeing your video, I am switching immediately to Lightroom and will leave Photoshop for other types of image manipulation. I like your style and you've got one more follower from Mexico. Best regards to you Down Under!
Benn using Raw for years but in Photoshop - most tutorials seem to be about how much they know forgetting to keep it simple for us new at it - perfect fit - thank you. Subscribed.
Paul, i am disabled and absolutely love photography it allows me a way to become lost in something outside Of everyday life. Never dreamed before, I'd be this interested in the arts. I really enjoy following you and have learned quite a bit... Thank you. John
Thank you. I have been struggling with Lightroom and things are starting to make sense now. My Lightroom is set up differently but I found most of the tools. Looking forward to booking my workshop with.
Just got Light Room to help with editing my photos. Your video definitely helped ease my anxiety going into a new editing program. As always man.. Keep up the good work.
Outstanding video. Love how you broke it down. Made it much more user-friendly. Thank you very much .. can't wait to see more videos to follow on Lightroom
Only recently signed up for Lightroom. I have to admit that I have struggled to get to grips with how it works. This video has been a great help, really clear straight forward instruction, thank you. I hope that you are able to make more videos on this topic in the future.
Thank you very much for posting this. I tried Lightroom myself and while I was able to do some things, your video was immensely helpful. Most appreciated!! FYI - I'm using a Canon R10 my wife bought me for Christmas. First mirrorless!!
Thank you Paul for sharing all your knowledge and your great videos here on RUclips and Instagram. I have learned so much from you since I started subscribing to your channel the last year. So much appreciated !!
You should do a series of lightroom tutorials. I've been thinking about getting it for a while but haven't as I don't know how to use it. These videos would be really useful. Love the content as usual 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Hi Paul Thank you for helping me to get to grips with Lightroom it has been a bit of a mystery to me for years Please continue with your editorials they are brilliant. Stewart from Auchterarder Scotland
Fantastic, thank you. Especially liked first half about storing, folders, keywords etc. This is often missed and was one of my 'must learn' areas so when I start using Lightroom v soon I will be organised from the start. Really appreciate you.
Discussing various tools and using them to edit a select part of the photo would be very helpful. Something more than making the whole image brighter, darker, etc.
Paul, as usual, you bring the best videos. I have been using GIMP but recently subscribed to Adobe Photographer package and I’m trying to learn both Ps and Lrc. This was most helpful. I wish I could come to Brisbane and met you and see your lovely city. The pictures you post are so wonderful it makes people want to visit and see for themselves. Thanks for all you do. You’re such a help and inspiration.
Thanks for this Paul. I have just acquired a laptop that can run LR / PS and am starting learning these new apps. Off I go to practice what you have demonstrated for us. Cheers.
Hi Paul, thank you for this great video.I am new to lightroom so i found this very helpful.I hope to see more lightroom tutorials from you.All the best!🙏
I've got some great photos thanks to your tutorials. Had 101 recommendations for which editing program to use! Was scared of photoshop as it seems people can choose 10 different paths to get the same result! Unfortunately, if I want help from members of my camera club, most people seem to use this. But seems a daunting huge learning curve. Huge appreciation for this, its taken the fear out of it for me. Paul you're an absolute treasure & excellent teacher! Huge appreciation!
Really useful. I initially had LR thinking it was LRC, I have since changed my plan to classic and photoshop. Followed the video, very straightforward and made broken down into manageable chunks!
So how would you import photos from your iPhone to your desk top, also, when it comes to printing your photo, how do you get a setting of 5x7 or 8x10 in this program. Enjoying this whole library of tutorials. Thank you!
Very helpful, thank you.
Thank you Paul! You are clear and to the point. I hope to see more videos of you.
i have had lightroom a while and have learned more in this 20 minutes, than i have in 6 months of trying myself. thank you. please make more editing videos with lightroom.

Without a doubt, the best instructor on You Tube. Your 20 minute introduction in Lightroom has motivated me to give it a try. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks that has given me more than I have found in books that assume you are already competent. Ted.
Wow, thanks! Appreciate the feedback.

At 14:58 what is the point of increasing exposure and decreasing highlights instead of just increasing the shadows?
