      Yeah you definitely have to hold your ear when they get to that part. But using a hot comb is better for our hair.

      Right on! I wish I still had the one from growing up for keepsake! When I was 18 and visited the Dixie once to see grandma and other folks, a former stepdaughter of an uncle used a curling iron in my hair that is stove top. Though I was and still am, a straight hair type mainly, I sure did love the experience off the bat!

    Very helpful video.. I love your sexy accent! I like how you stressed that it's the back of the comb that really does the straightening. I really needed to see that.     Im scared to comb my new growth out. I have very thick hair and combs don't usually help my hair. They always break. People call me nappy headed at school. Lol.

    What do you think was the most helpful thing for growing your hair in terms of length? All I do to my hair is wear braids, but my hair is not growing in terms of length, just thicker.

      U may need to give ur hair a break from braids because remember, too much constant tension will lead to breakage.

    I would love your hair!!! And your hair looks so shiny and glittery. I have the stupidest straight Chinese hair and when I curl it it doesn't hold at all!!!!!! I'm trying to damage my hair a little bit now so it will hold a curl better! I read that smooth hair may have a hard time holding a curl. I'm gonna kill my hair! He he!

      You would not want Black hair, it is naturally high maintenance. My hair comes from my Black ancestors, and oh my word! Yes, it is pretty like all other kinds of natural hair that is non-Black, but, taking care of it, whew!

      yes. Hot comb is the same as a flat iron. One just has teeth (hot comb) and the other doesn't (flat iron). They are both high-heat tools

    Great video, even for this lil white girl :) I'm going to try this hot comb.
    Try 100% pure argan oil. It costs a fortune if you buy it as a cosmetic. I buy mine as an edible cooking oil. 100% pure argan cooking oil is the same as cosmetic for one fourth the price!
