Excellent walk/talk through on this. You mentione you would leave a link about the engine mounts you used, I didn't see it. To be honest if you have the time a break down of the items you used would be great. I'm looking into this and your set up looks very clean and makes sense. I know this is just a quick run through but I'm looking forward to following it more because I'm looking at this for my 2015 !! thanks for putting this out there

Awesome! Thanks for the encouraging words! I tried to find a link but can not find it online. I know I purchased them from bruiser conversions for around $450 in 2021. I'm assuming they still sell them. I do need to do a parts list break down , I may do a full video on that. I would highly recommend it, it's a great upgrade from the 3.8 and 3.6

Thank you! I'm a big fan of 617 swaps and will continue to do them. However, this particular jeep I chose an ls for traveling with my family. Less diesel exhaust fumes, more top end power for pulling our large boat in the mountains of Tennessee, ect.. I will be swapping a 617 into another 4 door eventually.

Odd you didn't do the hemi swap w/ all the support.

I considered it in the beginning, but honestly the ls has alot more advantages over the hemi. One of the biggest factors is that the hemi would have cost me a good bit more money. I know they are notorious for cam and lifter failure, which concerns me also. The ls world has a lot more aftermarket support over the hemi, and in my opinion, I have never heard a hemi that sounded as good as a well tuned ls. I know my setup cost less than the hemi and makes a good bit more power. I would have had to do cutting and welding on my frame as well. I have nothing against a hemi, the ls was just a better choice in my situation.
