the criteria for your comment getting pinned differs so much in every video that every comment is insane for like the first 2 minutes
You know what? You're actually right.
You took pin from me
YOU DID IT 👏👏👏

*ok*
I want to see a sitcom that starts by saying: “This episode was filmed in front of Dave,” and the laugh tracks are just one guy laughing hysterically.
It's not a sitcom, but that's kind of what Conan ended up doing with his quarantine shows, and it's really funny. He delivers his jokes to just one guy. If you don't watch Conan though (I don't really), Eddy Burback did a great video on how late night comedy changed during quarantine, that shows clips from Conan's one-man audience shows.
On the Steve Martin episode of the Muppet show the laughter is by just a small group of people. There's one guy who really stands out. It kinda reminds me of "onion bubs" on Homestar Runner
Sometimes on shows you can pick out one person who's laughing particularly loudly or uniquely. I love it when that happens.
Yes please
that would be so funny omg i want that
I didn’t find this funny, there was no laugh track.
There was a laughtrack in the first 20 seconds
😂
Instructions unclear, I cried the entire time
I can't figure out when it's supposed to be funny!
@not Shane kid no 🐸
One thing I find interesting about Scrubs: The show didn't need forced laugh tracks but it didn't always silently continue after a joke was made either. Rather the show used instrumental auditory clues like a swing over a guitar. That doesn't seem forced at all yet also highlights a joke
Scrubs is always mocked for their phycial and cheesy comedy but the actual things happening are more realistic and dramatic.
But Friends, HIMYM, BBT? Ugh garbâge
Scrubs is the most realistic show about residency ever, because the many dream/fantasy sequences in the show are the result of sleep deprivation.
I think using audio effects actually enhances the humor a lot better than a laugh track, a funny sound makes a funny joke even funnier
@@itsgonnabeanaurfromme yes my dad is an anesthesiologist and the stories he tells me are sometimes WAY too close to something thatd be on scrubs lol
Scrubs is just a well written show all around. Comedy and tragedy intwined so well, you really forget about your worries and live with the characters while watching.
Seeing Malcolm in the middle get the props it deserves is quite gratifying. It’s been my favourite comedy show since I first watched it as a child.

Constantly breaking the 4th wall,i love it!
Black mirror episode in the making
This reminds me of a mr robot episode where Elliot ends up in a "sitcom" and is the only one who can hear or rather acknowledges the laugh track
One episode of VGHS did a bit similar where there was a laugh track coming from something in-universe
@@marsbars6869 is it bad that I laughed at many scenes in the episode? I don't think I was supposed to
Schitt's Creek is definitely a different beast. I grew to love the characters as (most of them) moved away from caricatures into actual people, but it was never LOL funny that often. Still one of my favorite sitcoms. (Though The I.T. Crowd is close to G.O.A.T.)
It's certainly not a regular comedy. I once watched the pilot and gave up on the show. A couple of years later I thought that I was maybe missing out on something because of the good ratings and gave it another try. It needs some getting used to but it's an amazing show. It's definitely a comedy but it's more about feelings than about laughter.
The classic example of a show that gets funnier as you get to know the characters more.
I agree that friends probably would've been better without a laugh track but them finishing the finale in front of a live studio audience was so heartwarming and you could see how rewarding it was for them.
I’m assuming you know that every episode was filmed in front of a live studio audience?

Laugh tracks are the tv equivalent of liking your own comments
Agreed
Oh yeah
Yes
I disagree I understand laugh tracks can be annoying and Very frustrating to deal with but at the end of the day The Majority of the all time great TV shows Needed a laugh track
Specifically “laugh tracks”, maybe, but the laughing in most of those shows are from an audience watching the show live. It’s basically live theater that happens to be aired on tv. The laughing you’re hearing in the background are from people actually watching and laughing at and reacting to the actors, not just the jokes
2:27 I no joke gave both Parks & Rec and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia a shot because of various GIFs that made them look good and god damn they didn't disappoint.
its always sunny is the best sitcom
i also watched its always sunny because of this video, very worth it i’m on my fifth rewatch now
All I learned from this is that I wish someone had told Drew how much better Schitt's Creek gets after the first few episodes.
Couldn't agree more one of the funniest shows ever
He watched episodes from season 2 and season 3, so that's not why he disliked it
I don't know, I watched all the way through Schitt's Creek and the best I can say is that it was alright. I definitely think that for me personally everything Schitt's Creek was trying to do Arrested Development had already done a lot better, but I understand why people really like it.
I'd watched a handful of them but it still didn't make me laugh nearly as much as the office. I think it just came down to my type of humor.
@@emilyd8884 Probably. I find The Office incredibly boring, personally.
The "boy who cried laugh" analogy applies to every kids' sitcom ever tbh.

@@truecrisp how I met your mother
How I Met Your Mother wasn't actually filmed in front of a live audience, but they showed the filmed episodes in front of an audience, and added the laughs from there. Therefore the laughs tracks don't pause everything going on, and just stay in the background
When I think of the episodes and the jokes, I don't remember the laugh tracks at all... But Friends on the other hand... I love Friends, but fucking hell
@@Up10tionslay Same, I never thought of HIMYM as a show with laugh tracks until a friend pointed it out
@Tim Portantno they did it because a lot of their jokes included cut away scenes for the joke to land (like when they go back in time) so to film infront of a live audience wouldn’t make sense since the jokes often depended on the editing (voice overs, cut aways, musical numbers etc)
damn, why don’t people do that more often? seems like it would be cheaper AND improve the quality of the shows.
I'm honestly baffled. I genuinely forgot it had a laugh track until he pointed it out in the video.
I wish he did this with Disney channel shows but that would make him go insane
the amount of laugh tracks they put in ONE EPISODE absolutely scares me
Hannah Montana is the worst of the worst imo & Used to Love that show. Music is still good tho
@Ryan Akwar I think you mean Ned's Declassified, Drake & Josh and those first couple seasons of Spongebob.
Ryan Akwar did you know there’s a new show about raven called “ravens home”? I like it but I don’t really watch it that much.
Madison Stewart I like that show put it’s not as good as old disney
I'll be the odd one out here and say that as a non English speaker, laugh tracks gave me contextual clues on what the English speaking world found funny and what jokes were supposed to be like in English. It also helps to have Friends on in the background when I'm anxious because the sound of people laughing always picks up my mood
Dude, tv shows are rarely actually funny. Don't base our humor off of sitcoms
I'm noticing that for my autistic son.

The laugh track makes me feel less alone
I think watching so many Disney Channel sitcoms as a kid made me sick of laugh tracks as an adult. I associate them with that style of squeakly clean family comedy.
Just my opinion but also fun fact: The best line in parks and rec was not scripted it was when leslie is sick and Andy goes " leslie I looked up your symptoms online and it says you have network connectivity issues"
That entire show is just FULL of comedy done right. Not a single episode was unlikable to me
thats actually pretty funny
Chris Pratt is the best at improvising lines. Watch any season of parks and rec bloopers and there’s proof. Very witty one liners
Dani-Claw What about season 1 and a lot of season 2,season 1 tried to be the office so bad that it was bad for the first and second season, when it became its own thing it was great.
@@willmelucci2989 even the office had a rough start with it's first season. there was supposed to be an actual spin off of the office called "the farm" about dwight's family but it never took off :( the pilot was supposed to be the episode where they inherit his aunt's farm. eve if it turned out bad i still would like to see more schrutes
The laugh track probably gets in the way of the acting as well. The actors know they have to pause after a joke has been said to make room for the laugh track which probably takes them out of what they’re doing. Sort of putting a barrier between them and making their character feel real.
most shows with a laugh track record in front of live studio audiences, so it's not like they're waiting in silence. It's like when a stand-up comedian tells a joke and they have to wait for the audience to calm down a bit to continue. Its all in good fun I don't think the actors mind as much as you may think.
Actors, especially in comedy, are stoked when people laugh at the jokes because it means they're doing something good. An actor should always be able to go in and out of character easily and not let outside noises or distractions take them away from the character. If they can't do that then they would be limited in what they would be able to perform as an actor. That's just a basic requirement for anyone hoping to pursue acting.
I don't know about the actors, but it definitely felt a bit unnatural to me. Like, in Friends, whenever Chandler made a joke or a hilarious comment, he would pause for a while to make room for the laugh tracks. It felt weird to me cuz that doesn't happen in real life. Just my opinion, though.
Angjele Thanks for sharing your insight! You make a lot of good points.
@@thebombspayloadisexposed do stand up comedians also feel unnatural to you? I feel like people don't realize that these shows are ACTUALLY recorded in front of an audience, and they just replace the audience laughter with a laugh track.
@@caliorbustarika3310 You definitely make a good point, but stand up comedy is very different from TV shows. People who attend those shows laugh when the comedian, you know, tells a good joke. In sitcoms, the audience, whether live or whatever, laughs at the weakest attempts at comedy and it sucks.
Young man, you have officially earned my subscription, despite the fact that I'm probably older than your parents!!
I grew up watching "Dukes of Hazzard," "Night Rider" and "the A-Team" and I haven't had cable TV since the early 2000s (by choice), aside from when my wife and I rented the 2nd floor of her brothers place which had cable TV and WiFi, when I was in my 30s, but considering the fact that we lived in Southern NC, by Carolina Beach, Cape Fear River and the Intracoastal Waterway, I spent most of my free time kayaking, fishing, flounder gigging (at night), clamming, crabbing and doing all sorts of outdoor stuff... I only really watched TV before bed, if my wife had the TV on, however, I am familiar with these early 2000s shows, as my ex used to watch them sometimes, so I remember Malcolm In the Middle, Big Bang, 3rd Rock, Frasier (which my Dad used to watch in the 90s/early 2000s, and even he met the old guy, who played Frasier's father, at a local restaurant/tavern in person, in the Chicago-area on a few occasions, but I digress).
I really appreciate the time you spent breaking these shows down, joke by joke...minute my minute. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into what you do, and I would certainly like to see more of this!
Kudos to you, sir! I look forward to viewing more of your analytical content, which I find quite fascinating!

One show that never needed a laugh track was MASH. The tv execs at the time forced it into the show, however the show's producers were able to convince the executives to not have any laugh tracks while the characters were in the operating room. The UK version is better because the laugh track was removed completely.
UK version was the one distributed in Czechia in 90's, maybe because we weren't used to laughtrack at all. It was really surprising and confusing to hear the US version for the first time. Laughtrack is really unnecessary in this show (and should be discarded in all of them).
If you get the DVDs you can watch it without the laugh track.

I absolutely love the IT Crowd. No one talks about it very much
I used to dislike multi-cam sitcoms with laugh tracks, until I got sick. I ended up in terrible pain, isolated, lonely, and disabled. I put on Friends for noise, I watched it as a kid but had grown up and turned my nose up at it.
I ended up loving it *because* of the laugh track. It makes me feel less alone. I especially like it when I'm trying to sleep, when my pain is worst. It helps to have constant noise, between the characters and audience sounds there are very few silent moments. I mean I only watch Friends and The I.T. Crowd but I'm sure there are other acceptable ones.
So, I don't mind them existing. They have their place. It's exactly like you said, sometimes you want something dumb that doesn't require much from you emotionally. If there were no sitcoms with audience reactions, I'd be pretty bummed. That's my defense of sitcoms with laugh tracks.

I agree sometimes the laugh track helps w comedic timing as well like if they had no pause between the jokes in friends it would be exhausting to watch but the laugh track gives the joke time to be taken in by the audience, also I hope ur better :)
Wow that's really cool! I don't mind laugh tracks but in some shows like the big bang theory it's really overused
Yeah as Drew points out the reason everyone picks on Big Bang Theory and it's laugh track isn't because laugh tracks are inherently some awful thing, although that might be what theyre thinking, but more just because that show in particular employs a laugh track in the most awful annoying way possible.
Tonia Mukami Thanks I appreciate that! Unfortunately I have an incurable nerve disease so I won't ever get better, but Im pretty good at coping with now so it's all good :)

Personally, I think it may be one of the best sitcoms of all time. There was never a not funny episode, and every character has a believable arc over the course of the series. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is where I really noticed this problem. The biggest laugh track thing I noticed is when Will’s father leaves again and they played a laugh track while they were discussing it and I hated it so much because that is the most emotional part of the show to me. It does this at other points but this is the worst
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was filmed in front of a live audience, including that scene. There is an episode, Will's Misery, where Carlton runs through the audience in distress after Will tells him he accidentally killed Lisa with a rock. Carlton originally helped Lisa setup Will to be humiliated. We get a full view of a live audience in that episode.
That moment did not have a laugh track, it was nothing but the characters dialogue from the top of the opening scene when Phil starts arguing with Will’s Father.

Steve Carell definitely deserved an Emmy. his acting is still one of the best performances I've seen in a sitcom (Jim Parsons was good though. The only good actor on the show)
@@GJ-dv8uq Is David Brent from the Office UK, cuz I watched a little of that one, but I didn’t get most of the jokes._.
That ur fanboyism speaks
.
Jeremy Piven won 2 emmys and many awards when Jim parson was around
.
Suck it up dude...
As a Brit I’m really glad to see the IT crowd up there. One of my favorites
12:06 wow, I just realized that's why I like "How I met your mother" so much
me, someone who doesn't care about sitcoms: finally, the much-anticipated sequel to drew gooden's sitcom laugh track analysis video!
Same, I’ve never seen any of these shows but I wouldn’t miss Drew’s analysis of them lol
Lmao same
Me
@@PeachysMom I love most of these shows and I'm an obsessive analytical person. These videos are my heaven.
i laughed harder at this than at any sitcom
You wanna know whats really weird? I don't hear laugh tracks anymore. My mind just tunes it out. Every now and then I'll realize there is a laugh track, but I just get so focused on the characters and dialogue that I just don't hear it!
same!
Same, binged FRIENDS last year, I only noticed the laugh tracks when guest stars appear, otherwise my mind just blocks it out
Same!! I didn't even realize it in how I met your mother untill my brother pointed it out. After that it took a while to unheard it😂😂
I still watch cable tv because I’m pathetic and I don’t like watching my regular shows all the time and I am so used to the laugh track it’s sad
Same; one of my favorite shows is M*A*S*H and due to the setup of the show, it would have been pretty much impossible to use a live studio audience, so they used a laugh track. The other day i was watching it and my dad pointed out the lack of a laugh track in that episode. I never really notice if it's there or not 🤷♀️
Shitts creek is one of my fav shows, I really enjoyed the development of each character and how they survived that part of their life. The characters are total freaks but I also found them often relatable.
(Seemingly) controversial opinion here: Schitt’s Creek is arguably not only one of the greatest comedy series of all time, but also just one of the best shows ever…in general. I was one of those people who watched a couple episodes of S1 on the recommendation of a friend and kinda just stopped because I wasn’t feeling it. I decided to revisit the show while it was in its fourth or fifth season and totally kicked myself for not continuing to watch all those years ago.
It’s a legit masterpiece and I can say with confidence that Catherine O’Hara’s Moira is my absolute favorite character in any comedy show I’ve ever seen. I think Schitt’s Creek is such a stand-out in the comedy series genre because it’s insanely funny in the most unique of ways, but also because the character development is flawless and there are genuinely touching and beautiful moments throughout the series that never feel forced, a tonal juxtaposition that I feel is extremely difficult to pull off. Schitt’s Creek makes it look effortless.
The final season is literally the first television series to sweep all seven Emmy awards in its genre, and for damn good reason. It’s unfortunate that S2-S6 are far superior to S1. I think most people who don’t think it’s funny would absolutely love it if they made it through S1 into S2. I would highly recommend to anyone that they revisit the show and have a little patience. You’re truly missing out on one of the best shows ever made.
Remember, most laugh tracks are those of dead people
😂
@not Shane kid no?
They said "lol I'm dead 🤣" and then they were.
GEEZ
Laugh tracks are killing people
"Can a depressed person do this?"

Those are rookie numbers, you gotta get those numbers up
Such an underrated sitcom is "Wings." I watched it growing up. I will say, it doesn't really catch its stride until about season 3, and it drops off around season 7. But those ones in the middle chug along like a well-oiled machine. I think it's in the same category as "I Love Lucy," another sitcom I love, in that each character has the same shticks that they make jokes about.
Himym having the lowest JPM average is probably because they had a lot of emotional storylines going on in that show, but the jokes are all pretty high quality.
If you want "laughing at nothing" watch Fuller House. Constant laughing in the background even when nothing funny has been said or done.
such a shit show
i feel irrationally angry watching that show. full house wasn’t anywhere near as stupid so how are you going to make a sequel and it be *so,so much worse*
Oh my goodness THANK YOU. everytime my sister watches that show I complain to her about the incessant amount of times they play the stupid laugh track or applause when something barely even cool happens. There's never enough time for dialogue because they WON'T. STOP. LAUGHING. it's so annoying
I remember loving it when I was like 11. Then, I came back to it years later and realized how stupid it was. I could NOT HANDLE the stupid laugh track, the show has no substance. I had no taste back then smh
Full house is amazing and fuller house is just....too much
The only laugh tracks acceptable for me is Mr. Bean
i agree
BuT wHaT abOuT FrieNds?!!!
Upvote this one! This is so true. The can laugh is tolerable.
I wonder why though?

And drake and josh
Schitts Creek is one you definitely have to watch start to finish to see the immense character growth that takes place
schitt's creek's average is thrown off because it has a different sense of humor than the usual sitcom, it's more subdued. i don't even remember the jokes in schitt's creek all that much tbh, i mostly remember the heartfelt moments.
fun fact: he didn’t do Community because it would have surpassed jokes-per-minute and statistically annihilated all of the other shows.
especially episodes like the pillow fight ken burns documentary one
And also he would have had to watch an episode from season 4 and he probably went no thanks
I think futurama has the most jokes-per-min but that’s just me
He did do a community and arrested development video
I’ve watched community parks and rec and the office and community is the only show that makes me laugh out loud multiple times a episode. The writing is just so streets ahead and the characters are so likeable and full of colour whilst still being down to earth and people who you would probably encounter in real life.
Fun fact: it was twelve videos ago that Drew’s face wasn’t in a thumbnail. You know what else is the number 12? The number of months in a year. After extensive research, I can determine that Drew is 1 year old. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Man if thAt other comment wasn't pinned this should have been. Drew is 1 confirmed.
i KNEW it
@- Da CookieAnimates - thank you very much I have spent SECONDS of my life researching this
Napstablook Ghost so kind of you
THANK YOU for mentioning Succession. I knew the exact scene and could recite the words on screen from memory and knew immediately why it would get demonetized. Every time you mention Succession I get so excited
10:33 Having grew up with lafftracks in the 70's and 80's my takeaway was that my sense of humor was radically different than was mainstream (indicated by the lafftrack) thought was funny.
I'd laugh at what I found funny and the additional laughs and sense of humor alienated me from the material and content (read: TV show). It made me a free-thinker/humorist.
"Boy Who Cried Laugh" excellent summation, thank you.
I feel like laugh tracks had their time and place, but as time went on we found better, less cheap ways of achieving what they did. Malcom in the Middle for example, the creator Linwood Boomer said that they used jump cuts, sound gags, musical cues, and just overall wacky editing in order to capture the "easy energy" that laugh tracks provide.
Laugh tracks told the audience that what they were watching is a comedy and they should be prepared to laugh, that awkward moments or offensive statements were meant to be jokes, not to make people uncomfortable or to be taken seriously. Jerry Seinfeld talked about something similar, that the audience has to be in the mood to laugh otherwise they wouldn't no matter how good your jokes are. Nowadays shows no longer need those training wheels and are able to put the audience in the mood to laugh just off of the strength of the writing alone.
Big Time Rush didn’t use laugh tracks either, but a lot of jump cuts, sound effects, etc...It was hilarious!
But having an audience laughing behind creates employment opportunities . So yeah I wanted to be a professional laugher :-(
Laugh tracks are like people in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books when Rowley says “Zoo we mama!”
At least thats funny than just a laugh track
Zoo wee mama is funnier
I'd applaud at zoo wee mama
Bazinga
its mama but okay
schists creek is a god level show and deserve sacrifices for its humor.
It really fast became my favourite show
I personally think laughtracks can work in terms of giving the episode a live show feel, similarly to a live music album where you hear the audience sing along and cheer, so I never really found them that annoying unless it is something like Big Bang Theory where they overuse it constantly and is clearly canned
Friends was actually recorded with a live audience, and they would also re-write stuff on the fly to try and make the audience laugh as hard as possible, so there I think it kinda works due to that symbiotic relationship between what you see on screen and the actual audience that was there when they were filming it
“CBS is the only TV network that still airs shows with laugh tracks.”
Disney Channel: Am I a joke to you?
Doesn't Nickelodeon still also do that
What about The Conners on ABC? Oh wait never mind ABC is owned by Disney so by transitive property it would be the same response~
I'm pretty sure Fox still airs Last Man Standing. Using a laugh track. Also owned by Disney now. Damn you, Walt!
Hello I hope you are fine.

I feel like Scrubs has become massively underrated in the world of sitcoms in the past 5 years it was an early adopter in ditching the laugh track and having that freedom allowed the creators to use very elaborate visual gags which made it better than any sitcom of the 2000's
Damn totally agree.
I wonder if it has fizzed out of our collective consciousness because the last couple seasons were considered bad. Maybe the game of thrones effect at play?
Scrubs and children’s hospital were SO good
scrubs is really good! i can’t personally watch it because hospital stuff makes me uncomfortable, but the few i saw were really funny
We had to watch Scrubs in our media study class about 5 years ago and everyone would be dying the whole time lmao Always wanted to fit two episodes into class. Fuckin love that show. Criminally underrated and I still reference it to this day.
The first 3 seasons of HIMYM are golden. The best sitcom ever produced.
I used to get auditory hallucination, especially when tired. The worst one was when I was alone at home and all I could hear was a laugh track, going on. and on. and on.
There should’ve been an episode of Community where there’s a laughtrack and like only Pierce can hear it or sum and it’s just driving him up the wall.
Yeah, it could have been a side effect of his pill-popping... :)
Yes! Fantastic idea!
This would also work great for Ahmed
@@somecrazydude2267 Abed*
There was, it’s History 101 (S4:E1), where Abed imagines a world where the show has a laugh track
Fun Trivia Fact
IT Crowd actually had a live studio audience for the scenes when they are in their department.
Laugh tracks are bad, but in some cases they can be useful. One of the coolest things a studio has done with DVDs is to release MASH with 2 audio tracks, one with a laugh track and one without. Watching an episode of that without a laugh track is really uncomfortable at time and gives you a different feeling for war and what is going on there. Definitely worth watching that way at least once.
The IT crowd actually pulls off the whole nerd thing well, it’s such a good show and Richard ayoade and Chris O’Dowd are great comedians
It’s so great, Noel Fielding was amazing in it too
they all did a fantastic job, absolute comedic geniuses
amen to that
I think Brit-coms are the best

I think an issue with including Schitt’s Creek in a video about efficiency in sitcoms is that it’s not trying to have that kind of efficiency with joke after joke. Dan Levy, the creator, has talked about discussions with his dad, Eugene Levy who’s also on the show, about joke frequency. Eugene wanted a much more sitcom-y approach with nonstop jokes, but Dan decided to let there be more jokeless moments and let the characters speak for themselves. It’s very much the kind of show that gets funnier and funnier as you continue watching because you’re getting to know the characters and each of their individual unique traits (which may not be clear to someone just watching a few episodes). Loved the video, but perhaps a different show would have fit into this experiment better.
I completely agree. I don't think it fits with efficiency in comedy for similar reasons. It's also hard to isolate one episode or another as an introduction to the show. When I tell people they should watch it, I typically preface it by saying 'since the episodes are so short, you'll need to watch a few in a row to really get a feel for it.' I think a lot of the best things about Schitt's Creek are that it can be really funny without written jokes, if that makes sense. Sometimes just the situation itself is hilarious, like in season 2 when David is helping Jocelyn at the Blouse Barn. There weren't any real jokes written for that scene, but the dialogue, delivery, and situation together add up to something that's very funny.
yeah, i really feel like Modern Family would have fit better, it's a show where you can watch a few episodes on their own, and you will know the characters.
Definitely. Schitt's Creek is such a beautiful show besides from being just funny. You see how characters grow through seasons. Infact personally, I'd not consider Schitt's creek having MORE of a comedic approach than umm say having one of yk life lessons thingy. I mean I learned a LOT from the show. When Alexis get's her degree it made me super proud or when David was finally able to let down his walls with Patrick, it was so heartwarming. Maybe I'm biased because of the phase I was in my life when I watched this show, but regardless, Schitt's Creek holds a very special place in my heart.
Aly Wise exactly I completely agree.
i'm really not surprised that schitt's creek scored lower in terms of frequency because its comedy is a lot quieter than other shows. there are things that a character will say that isn't even technically a joke but the delivery is so good that it has me rolling anyway. like maybe it's really easy to make me laugh but schitt's creek is one of my favourite shows because the jokes are always delivered well instead of frequently.
the death of laughtracks is because those netflix Originals kid sitcoms theres a laughtrack every 5 seconds
I LOVED watching Schitt's Creek. Fell in love with the character within the first few episodes, and the show ended PERFECTLY
He really forgot the Jimmy Fallon show, the show where the host creates the laugh track with his mouth.
@eh - I mean yeah but when he does it every interview lol
And interrupting everyone
i created my own laugh track just reading this
That’s funny I felt the same way about a stable genius failing as president for 4 short yrs as he cried he was a stable genius creating a laugh track of him and his brain dead followers laughing at themselves frantically
