Tbh it was just shot and edited in a way where it's hard to edit out the FP exclusives. If you didn't make it look like viewers were missing out on content, then they wouldn't have complained about it.

@@mabey8048 It's not stupid. They provide a good 15 min video with the conclusion so your not missing that. They do this with a lot of videos and behind the scenes. They aren't the only ones who do it. Corridor do it with their VFX Artist React videos. They have a shorted version on RUclips and the extended cut on their own website.

If your one of those, it is actually worth it for all the extended and behind the scene stuff and exclusives. At least once or twice a year.

It's funny, they laughed at the guys moving all their videos from youtube to another site last week and then move half of this video to their own site this week.

I love how he's not bullshitting around and straight up calls them up for garbage products, valuable only in name.
Well, maybe i am a shill, but i thought that Linus should've really dug into composition/ingredients of energy drinks. I mean, how much sugar they contain, how many "doses" etc. But i guess because of time constraints he couldn't do it. That "it tastes blue" gives me nothing.
@Schmidt_Smith I mean the video would be extremely long and lose a lot of people's attention. I agree that it would be nice but trust me we are in the very small minority who would want to listen to that and not switch to a different video.

Small batch cereal is expensive as hell. Unless you're making millions of boxes you won't get to the ~3 dollar mark you'd get from a corn flakes or a cinnamon toast crunch

Why make a dedicated video to just say watch the rest of content on flatplace? If they are this desparate then they need to try something better.
Seems like they are getting desperate for floatplane, let them, and hopefully noone watches and it falls apart. But why ? Because it's literally a clone of YT, and not the safe heaven they claim it to be, in case YT goes to shitz. Platforms like PeerTube are the solution by being decentralized, and not having yet another company based platform that can do whatever the hell they want at any point, including going bankrupt.
I love how Ryan Trahan is so obsessed with his new candy and says it's the best in the world and then Linus is like, nah! I've had better...

Ryan also markets his candy as a “healthier” option for candy. I’m not surprised it got poor reviews from Linus.
@@IncognitoSahil i haven't tried the new mr beast chocolate, but both the og chocolate and the cookies are pretty good! I don't really like the creamy texture that linus said, I much prefer the taste of cocoa instead of milk, and the natural ingredients are a huge plus, highly recommend if you can find. The only complain is that the bars are kinda small and light, so it's a little more expensive.
Regarding the cookies, they are pretty different from your standard cookie, i can see people not liking it, but it's a different and more natural approach to it, i did enjoy. Unfortunately i can't find them here in brasil, otherwise i would buy a lot more

@CH-cc4lf I mean they're spendy but good quality. He ACTUALLY makes it himself as opposed to other youtubers that partner with an existing big company or use a white label. If you just want sour belts you can find cheaper alternatives that will satisfy your fix, but if you want to support an independent company that makes their candy in the US (a lot of gummy style candy is made in China for some reason) and has different flavors than you might commonly find, you may want to give them a try.

Skill issue
As a FP user, the extras is a behind the scenes with some extra stuff that didn't make it into the video... As usual. Not an entire continuation of the video like some people think lol
Yeah seriously, this felt very deceiving and I think this is the first time they do something that feels this "slimey". There was a lot more products and influencers and they only showed a lot of Mr.Beast stuff.
Seriously, this video just felt wrong. really like a floatplane ad. Just wrong, I'm probably going to skip this type of "I tried x products" videos from them from now on assuming it's just this type of time wasting teaser for a Floatplane promotion

I'm cool with yall doing additional products over at floatplane, but this is kinda like if you did the gamer drink episode and at the end ranked some drinks that were only covered in the floatplane version. It feels like you removed part of the original video rather than added something extra :/

The floatplane exclusivity aspect was really disappointing. It’s just like how developers cut content from a game to release it as “DLC” or a “collector’s edition” alongside the game. It’s not new content or stuff that wouldn’t usually “make the cut,” it’s just a way to chop up and repackage the same game (in this case, video) for extra profit. I like the old integration of floatplane where we get exclusives and *behind the scenes content* that wouldn’t fit in a normal video. Not chopped up extras regular videos for the sake of making a quick buck

This feels like the first 15 minutes of the video and then an ad for the full version, rather than a reasonably cut down long video for youtube and a less edited version for floatplane. I.e. this fomes off as taking content away rather than giving a bonus for floatplane (i think due to the editing)

Watching on my laptop and I hit the left arrow by mistake at the very beginning of the video and it was just a great experience I did it a few more times in quick succession and hearing Linus start jamming out with the first word he says is wonderful lol

I’m a little disappointed that you cut it off for floatplane. I get behind the scenes when it ends up being super super long and some exclusives for them but I can’t afford a monthly subscription. Doesn’t mean I haven’t financially supported the company at all I have bought 2 mousepads it’s not a lot but was a lot for me when taking into account shipping and would rather watch the whole thing

To be fair, by the list of ingredients of the cereal (3:27) you can tell that is a healthy product. The List is organized by quantity, so the sugar comes last, and you get more fibers from the whole wheat.
