- The road from Grindelwald in Switzerland offers a scenic drive with great alpine views. However, due to its popularity, especially among tourists, the road can become congested, particularly during the summer and holiday seasons. Despite the traffic, the drive remains a must-see for its natural beauty and quintessential Swiss charm.
Taking my bike to Europe to ride around is definately on my bucket list.

Sometimes it's cheaper to rent on site. What bike do you ride?
@LiveTheRide-d3y I have a Honda Aero Shadow, a Kawasaki Voyager, a Suzuki DR-Z400, and a Suzuki GSXR 750.
How many motorcycles are enough? Obviously n+1. Overall, a great choice you have. 😉
I have plan to ride with my XVS 950 to Switzerland from Poland. very excited abt it! but I'm concerned about my Cobra exhaust sound, I feel is a bit loud and i heard in Swiss Police will fine :/ what you think? is it very restricted over there?
Switzerland is great for mototrips. AFAIK police can fine you if the exhaust system is not homologated or is too loud for a populated area (cities, villages). But personally, I have never encountered anyone being stopped. There are a lot of tuned motorcycles here, but they mostly ride on mountain passes, where there are almost no populated areas. On the other hand, there are even more "straight" guys on tuned Audis and BMWs, and their exhaust systems are much louder than our motorcycles, and I have also never seen the police touch them. As long as you drive according to the rules, no one is interested in you.
Exactly! I watched many videos and was curious about other’s exhaust and saw many custom ones :)
I don't know much about Poland, but here I would be more concerned about the speed limit, as the cameras here look both forward and backward. And there is also a hidden police force in regular cars.
Same as here. They never stopped me for noise. But they check speed limit too.
Then you will be fine, if you're going to go through the mountain passes (and why else would you go to Switzerland on a motorcycle😉), then the best months are May-September, in some places there will still be snow, but it will be very beautiful. My personal favorite is the Great Saint Bernard Pass and Fluela Pass, highly recommend!
