    I tried Neroli Outrenoir but its too feminine for me, still a great Guerlain. I enjoy Nerolia Vetiver more

      I have a preference for Neroli Outrenoir but I also like Nerolia Vetiver 🥰

    Angelique Noire is favourite green vanilla - so beautiful and elegant. I also enjoy Lalique Lalique with that bay note. A fresher vanilla. I say that as I’m currently wearing Babycat which is so good now it’s not as hot. I must get my nose in JT as I live Tuberose !

      Joyeuse Tubéreuse smells more like lilies than tuberose to me. A very beautiful green fragrance with white florals, very creamy and not indolic at all 🥰

    Starting off with some great spring fragrances Karine! Are you sure it's February over there? 😂 As always, thank you for sharing! 🥰

      It was raining almost everyday (we had only 20 hours of sun for the whole month). So indeed it looked like a typical Spring here 😂

    Hello Karine🙋🏻‍♀️🇦🇺. I am also starting to like a greener scent profile, I haven’t changed regarding my already adored parfums but my nose is definitely appreciating the green notes. Thank You and adore your classy variety of perfumes 🥰❤️🩷🧡 Stani xx

      Hi Stani, I think you're going to see more and more floral and green fragrances in my lists for Spring 😄 Thank you for you comment 😉

    Wonderful video - I always look forward to your selections and discoveries.
    February was hot here but I started to yearn for ambers and vanillas. Vanilla Diorama and Ani were worn along with my lighter Amouages. Discoveries of the month included an older sample - HSWX which I’m getting a bigger decant of - it’s sent me back down my leather rabbit hole. It’s a note I’ve been so so with and now, as long as it’s not overly animalic, am loving. The other is Patiala by Thameen. - starts off aldehydic rose and moves into aromatic, fresh amber. I’m hooked :)
    Already looking forward to your March picks ☺️🙌

      This is the perfect period of the year for green vanillas (one of my favourite category ^^) I started with Joyeuse Tubéreuse indeed, but I think Angélique noire would be perfect too :) I enjoy leather when it's not too potent or animalic. I like it green (like the Memo ones) or with violet nuances (like the Hermès ones). For this month, I'd like to check some new releases I didn't have the occasion to try yet (like the new Dior New Look) and some other brands I had my eyes on for a while :)

    Santal Noir is not for sale on the U.S. Dior website so hopefully it is still available over there! Every time I hear about No.19 Poudré I want to try it. This might be the push I need, lol. Cheers, Karine! Great bunch of fragrances.

      They already discontinued some of my beloved ones so I don't trust them anymore 😆
      If green powdery fragrances sound attractive to you, indeed I recommend you to try the N°19 ones. So far the EDP and the poudré versions are my favourite ones 😉

    Cuir Nilam wasn't the one I ordered from Atelier Materi, it was the Cedre Figalia one. It's very nice! Saving it for when the weather is a little warmer.
    I was a bit disappointed with Mono Cachemire if I am honest, I find it a bit boring. I like Smoky Soul though, the vetiver in it reminds me of Lush's Breath of God. But SS is more refined ❤

      @OlfactiveStories  6 месяцев назад +1

      Oh I wanted to try Cedre Figalia too but I didn't see it on the website when I ordered. Mono Cachemire is OK, not groundbreaking but too much of these modern fragrances DNA that I'm not found of. Maybe Ambroxan. I don't know but there is a little something bothering me in it. Smoky Soul was a good discovery. Never disappointed by this collection :)

      @@OlfactiveStories yes, Olfactive Studio are a really good brand (and Atelier Materi)

      @@ems_h.eartnotes Yes, just Atelier Materi is a bit high point for my budget. So far, I had my bottles second hand because of that. They now propose 10ml which is a more affordable option for me but still that's expensive for the quantity 😅

    • @ems_h.eartnotes
      @ems_h.eartnotes 6 месяцев назад

      @@OlfactiveStories yes, and they have gone up in price. I bought my bottle a couple of years ago when they weren't as expensive. The 10ml is a good option, but the price per ml is a lot higher
