Cuir Cuba really has to be put on skin. On paper, it was completely opposite to what I was expecting. Love the design of those sample cards too. Thanks again for sharing Karine! 😘
Oh that's good to know. Some fragrances can be very different on my skin so my first impressions are always on paper to get a more "neutral" appreciation. But indeed I always try on skin before buying. I'm curious to see how it evolves on my skin now. If I had to bet I would say I expect it to be sweeter and more leathery on me ^^
Hello Karine, it was a pleasure watching your December wear fragrance video. I haven't worn perfume much in the past month. I had been wearing Shalimar Millesime Iris a lot, earlier in December. I have found just before Christmas my skin broke out with a rash. I am keeping products simple until goes away.🙃😊💛 Take care!

I had a rash once in the neck, I avoided spraying fragrance there for a while, just my wrists and my clothes. Sometimes our skin is more sensitive, that's especially the case for me when it's too hot or too cold out there 😅
Them Nikolais sound nice actually whilst I remember. I've not discovered too much yet this year. Yes our older ones. Your room things sound nice, the bottle looks like them lovely Guccis. A fine smelling month ad always Karine 😊

Indeed my house still smells like Christmas right now 😂 I was craving so much for sweet treats, cakes and pastries (that I could not eat at all) that I think I compensated with my fragrances 😆Even my mom who's really picky with scents loved Nuit étoilée and she even took a decant from my Lavallière bottle 😅 Fairy tree is lovely and the scent of it mixed with Sapin that I sprayed on my artificial tree and Nuit étoilée on myself ... It's like walking in a pine forest under the snow. So magical 🥰
Hi dear Karine, I have tried and tried Killian after purchasing a discovery set and did not like even one, same as Nishane, box was beautiful of Nishane 😭and I couldn’t enjoy any, out of 18 😬. C’est la vie 🤷🏻♀️ As we’re still cooking in Western Australian heat, my norm is still Bal D’ Afrique buuuuut we finally have body lotion aaaand shower gel now 😍👏🏻 woohoo, I smell lovely loll 😂. I am really loving Dyptique’s 34 Boulevard Saint Germain edt , it’s just gorgeous on my skin ❤️. Best wishes Stani 🙋🏻♀️❤️🩷🧡

They have a 20% discount on their website right now but Mandarina Corsica is sold out. I was lucky to find mine second hand from someone who didn't like it 😊 L'artisan parfumeur prices became a bit crazy lately. I remember I got most of my bottles on sales or on discount websites. Now it's almost 3 times the price 😑
@OlfactiveStories No 20% off for us in the UK unfortunately and there wasn't much of a sale either. I've hit a 15% voucher as they mucked up an order but I hope they're not going to keep increasing their prices
Mandarina Corsica is a lovely one for the holiday season. 🙂 I'm also attempting a slow buy this year and it has been fairly good so far! To be completely honest, there really aren't a lot of fragrances I want to buy at the moment, so that helps lol.

My wishlist is not that big and I'm not in a hurry because I already have many fragrances that I love and wear (so I keep waiting for a good price, even if it takes years ^^) Hopefully most of the releases of 2023 were not super tempting. I just cracked for a few of them but still at a good price or travel sprayers 😊

Je reconnais le flacon de Lavallière moi j ai eu jardin en Méditerranée et je l ai offert à ma sœur, j ai aimé Grain de Poudre ! Je n arrive pas à accrocher suffisamment avec les créations Nicolaï pour en posséder une peut être un jour mais j aime bien cuir Cuba 👌🏻 pour bois d Arménie finalement j hésite à carrément acheter un flacon chez Guerlain 😅

j'ai acheté SACREBLEU à la boutique du Marais; l'argument donné était un clin d'oeil à l'heure bleue de guerlain. je l'ai offert à ma mere qui l'trouvé trop puissant . c'est vrai qu'il est très "costaud"!!!!!
