At first it's just about building the muscles up so you have more control over your voice. Sing along to songs you like etc. With some practice you'll get better and also start to hear when you're a bit out of tune and can work on that. You can also watch some RUclips videos of the technicalities of singing. Learning to sing from your diaphragm rather than your throat etc
