Well, he is almost 80. Amazing he can still do this only down a half step at his age. Saw the first show of this tour and it sounds like they are only getting better as the tour goes on. I'm going back to see two more shows this year, can't wait!
I'm torn. I understand why it's done but it's so jarring to me when a song isn't performed in it's original key. I can't enjoy it. But that's my issue. Most people aren't bothered by it.
The guy is 79 and still doing it...who cares if the key is lowered it still sounds good.
The only time i am OK with someone lowering the key of a song is when it is the original artist. This was a smart decision here.

Lower key?lower shmee. He and band sound great. I have been a fan since the beginning and I don’t notice any change in the sound.He is still great
