Great streamer. The thing that I liked most is the constant focus on the fly. Good filming, congrats.

Hi guys, another great streamer. I went to your website to read the write up Cheech, very smart and informative. I love the weighting systems you come up with and the way you incorporate them and the materials into the design. I've seen other patterns that use similar weighting techniques but your finished flies look awesome, to me and the fish. (and your videos are lol fun)
I have some Eagle Claw sproat worm hooks that are Teflon coated. They must be discontinued as I recently bought them at our local dollar store, haven't had a chance to use them yet. When I do I'll try tying some of these. Thanks guys. 👍😎🍺⬅ rootbeer

cool minner. A red cone will be money underneath. also throw a bead behind for even more weight

So are you choosing resin over using a fish mask for any reason or just like working with resin more?

torrey self the fish masks are way too bulky. They also push the fibers back too much and slim down the head of the fly too much.

Was there a specific species this fly was developed for? Just out of curiosity.

I'll check out those Fulling Mill jobbers. I like 8089, B10s but not Allen. Way to flimsy for my taste.

Pretty accurate. The Allen B200 is too sofffffff.

Thx for the reply. Allen is awesome tho, great prices and their other hooks such as the S201 or the S201H are killer.

What I find interesting is back when I fished with conventional gear, so much money was spent on scents to make soft plastics not smell like plastic. Or manufactures would tout that their new coffee, garlic, etc scent was the key to their plastics. But with fly fishing, I’m coloring everything with a nasty smelling Sharpie. Ha.
