His Laughter is Contagious......AND.....he always had his "subjects" well at ease during their interviews which allow them to be comfortable and engaging which was an added bonus for us viewers!! Saturdays will be different to be sure! Cheers Gang

I'll miss Anthony Mason on Saturday mornings. He has a pleasant voice and a nice interviewer, particularly with musicians who appear live on the program. But, all is not lost, as he will continue to do the weekday show with Gayle King. The two ladies, including the lovely Michelle Miller, will still be around.

I'm glad Anthony Mason got the daytime gig, but I think he should have gotten the CBS Evening News gig. Jeff Glor wasn't really given a chance. CBS Evening News hasn't been the same since Scott Pelley left.
I will miss seeing Anthony. I hope he doesn't have any health issues. I am also happy Jeff will be taking his place. CBS is very fortunate that he decided to remain at CBS. Best wishes and GOD'S BLESSINGS to both Anthony and Jeff.

And onto the weekday edition. Now you get to see him five days a week instead of one.
Who is not wondering who will be the breakout stars at the Democratic debates? I don’t know, but this I do know, the continued ‘star product’ will be and remain, ‘hair dye’…displayed on the heads of both the moderators and candidates…which demonstrate something more about us than them…and what we as consumers of journalism and being marketed to by politicians will allow…

N.B., T.D. and Gayle King, can now fully ruin the show, singlehandedly. Anthony Mason was the voice of reason...a real unbiased news person. The others are just flakes. It's incredibly sad. Mason is, hands down, the best they had. Goodbye CBS Mornings.... you've lost at least one viewer here.

the Nation, Margaret Brennan, always tastefully hair dyed, in a segment discussion
with an always odd appearing Anthony Salvanto, CBS News, elections and surveys
director, who has seemingly been
scrubbed from Wikipedia, will never probably ever appear with one speck of gray
hair, and oh yes, because while seated, Miss Brennan could be comfortably seen in
high heels, all the above being perfectly normal at CBS and on chat shows in
general…

If you want to make this program better, get rid of Gayle King. Rumor is she pushed Anthony Mason out to get someone in she like better, who (no surprise) is black. Everyone I know can’t stand Gayle King. She’s opinionated and interrupts. No one cares about her commentary and when she goes on her rants. Gayle King’s legacy is “Oprah’s friend”, nothing more.
Who will come to his place? They should bring a woman, so Saturday to have 3 women.
