Hey mate. I’m wondering how you did this? My house is new and it’s wired for an alarm. The cables are on the front of the house for the siren, which an alarm company would just wire into. Can i use these wires to hardwire into a ring siren? Or do I still need the external plug adapter? Cheers!
@@leomcgrane93 you just need the power adapter for ring siren....just wire into your existing siren wire.. so wire external siren box using external end....then wherever the internal end is wire that to power supply adapter and plug in....
I got mine from Amazon (UK link here -> amzn.eu/d/bapDrFB), but you can also get it directly from Ring (en-uk.ring.com/products/alarm-security-outdoor-siren).

You're welcome!
Very helpful thank you 👍
No problem 👍
I used the wire connected to my old alarm box and connected the power supply to the other end in a cupboard where my old alarm panel was.

Can this alarm workout the d batteries, just using a ring battery and a hard wire supply.
How long is the power cable that comes with it?
The cable on the power supply is 6m (just under 20ft).
If you hardwire it do you remove the batteries?
No, you can leave the batteries in. They then act as a backup in case mains power is lost.
