The last time we went to Epcot (Christmas Day 2022), we did Genie+. We rope dropped Remi, Virtual'd Cosmic, and G+'d Frozen, Spaceship Earth, Soarin, and Living with the Land. Shaved several hours off of our wait time and left more time for the Cookie Stroll (pro tip-bring a back and save a few cookies as the "reward" is another cookie).
If you can go to an after-hours party then you will not have to use genie plus except for maybe one or two certain rides within if you can go away right before or after a holiday that is another slow time within the parks and you will not have to use genie plus except if there is a certain ride that you really must ride but that is what I do when I go to Disney . I do not use genie
Last time i went to epcot was 22.years ago. Early entry was 1 hour. Park open till 10pm during the summer. Go on rides as often as you want. No paying extra for anything
I went to Disney World last April and I’m still watching every video about these parks even though I’m British so will probably not be able to afford another trip for another few decades
I’m going in April! I have my Akershus reservation locked in! I’m nervous about using Genie+. I’m watching videos like crazy on how to utilize it. For the Guardian ride, seems safer to buy a ride.
You should be fine because all of the kids are still in school at that time . A majority of the rides especially if you go during the weekday should not be crazy
It’ll depend on when exactly your group is called in. If you’re in the first 25 or so groups at park opening, it’ll basically be a walk on. Past that I wanna say in the range of 30-40 minutes from my experience. It really just comes down to when you get called in to ride
Can you smoke cigarettes at Epcot?? I have read conflicting articles on the subject. Some say in designated areas only, some say on every ride / attraction you can smoke as of April 2023.
I enjoy watching AJ's videos because somehow they reminds me of how WDW was just a few short years ago but no longer is..The outrageous price hikes, genie+, mobile food ordering, having to stare at my phone all day, and the eliminatiom of previously free perks are more than enough reasons to never go to WDW ever again.
I couldn't believe what I heard at 15:05 and had to rewind. Personally, I would not slap the same date-based restrictions on the Military Salute ticket that the convention and sports tickets have. Seems like the men and women defending our freedoms deserve a little more consideration than the dude there on a work trip with the "Ronco Vacuum Cleaner Annual Sales Convention"...
I don’t quite understand the point of these videos. Most of it is go check out our other video for more of an explanation. Then some things feel like it doesn’t need to be said? I personally love the longer format videos cause I press play and listen along as I do my other things. But videos like these feel like we could just go over what’s actually important in 5-10 minutes.
Saying check out another video for more info is good if you’re planning a trip or just interested. It doesn’t even take 30 seconds. I like that some videos are an hour & some are 10 minutes. Variety is important, we don’t all always have the time or attention span for only long form videos. They do everything perfect.
I personally love being able to search exactly what I’m looking for and have a whole detailed video. Some people also already know certain things so new videos with new details is always welcome. In the case of this video… I know all about genie+ but didn’t know everything the park had to offer.
Why would anyone pin such a useless comment? Your comment is now second to last, only after someone complaining about the video. Sorry if I sound rude! I don't want to spoil the Disney magic.
As someone who tries to hit Epcot every 6 weeks or so, these are all fabulous tips for planning!!
i wish i could!!
My brother has an annual pass and he’s there all the time. I live in Va Beach and I wish I could visit more often
@@jeninaslicer352 they opened annual passes to all but non reaidents costs 1500. Not bad tho if you go more than 10 days a year
Wow, I wish!
Love the short format, very easy to consume. It was also very cool watching this from inside EPCOT. Thanks, AJ! 😁

I’m going to EPCOT for my 30th birthday this spring 🥰
Happy 30th! What a great place to celebrate!
Meee tooo! 🎊 ❤
Have so much fun! We just did that for my friend’s 30th too and it was a blast!

Genie+ and all the new ways that replaced fast pass are simply confusing. It’s putting us off planning a trip.
If you can go to an after-hours party then you will not have to use genie plus except for maybe one or two certain rides within if you can go away right before or after a holiday that is another slow time within the parks and you will not have to use genie plus except if there is a certain ride that you really must ride but that is what I do when I go to Disney . Cool. Less crowded for me :)
I miss the paper Fast passes. It was so much better.
It’s not as confusing in practice. Once you click around in the app for a bit and see how everything works, it just clicks.
Ear Scouts on RUclips are so easy to follow. Rob does an amazing job of making Genie+ sound simple ☺️
The only thing you need to know about Epcot is that Cosmic Rewind is there and you need to do whatever it is that you need to do to ride it.😊
dad & son trip in 3 weeks. Hes 8 and still doesnt know.
Awww that’s gonna be so fun!
How exciting. Have fun.
Excited for you!!
I hope you guys had a blast!

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is the most amazing ride there is period (Rise is close 2nd)
Great videos! Thanks for going straight to the point
I went to Disney World last April and I’m still watching every video about these parks even though I’m British so will probably not be able to afford another trip for another few decades
It's always fun to keep up with the news and updates when you're not there, though :)
@@DFBGuide true! And you’re my favourite Disney info channel 😊❤️
It’s my dream to go and visit Disney World 😌
Too bad I’m poor.

You are right. I can’t ride GOTG but i can see the notices about the virtual queue. Buy the Lightning Lane!

@@loracaro4427I hope they are!😂 I’ll be there the first week of April. I’m an early bird so hopefully I can accomplish what I didn’t five years ago.
Search Ear Scouts on RUclips. He provides great Genie + tips!
I figure if anyone knows it's you: which food is part of the DDP at Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya?
From information I read was Shiki Sai was not participating in DDP.
Thanks, looks like Tenpenyaki, lol@@junez2817
Should u go to epcot? First time going. What parks should I visit ..going 3 days only
Are you able to get to Epcot using the skyline if you are not staying at a resort hotel?
QUESTION: Memory Maker is available for this park?
Yes! When you buy Memory Maker, you’ll get all your PhotoPass pictures for your entire Disney World trip!
@@dfbbreea THANK YOU 😊👍🏾
How long is the line on Guardians of the Galaxy once your group has been called to join the line?
It’ll depend on when exactly your group is called in.

Golf Ball??????? You mean the prettiest girl at school!!
What happened to the Cinderella Castle, did it actually burn down
It morphed into a giant ball!
Can you smoke cigarettes at Epcot?? I have read conflicting articles on the subject. Some say in designated areas only, some say on every ride / attraction you can smoke as of April 2023.
Only in designated areas.
Is tinker bell at Epcot?
Not normally, but a couple of months ago there were some videos of her walking through the International Gateway. WDW needs a Pixie Hollow location.
What does it cost to go here ??
It's over $100 for a park pass.
You didn't answer: WHAT T F is Epcot? I assume it's some kinda disneyworld I guess
Google
Ep-cott-i-an?? It's "Epcotian", pronounced "ep-ko-shun". (Kidding, but it really should be....)
15:15 is that Genie?
the topiary? that’s luisa from encanto 😭
OK thanks

Maybe so, but Disney still needs to know how mNy guests to plan for each day, regardless of who they are.

You should make a video about swapping your tickets to an annual pass if you would like. Also how it doesnt work in the app
