I'm asking from a different perspective to most guitarists out there. I'm suspected having ADHD and I do have dyslexia (where my working memory, the ability to onto short term information and processing speed isn't great either). I'm wondering did your studies/education/tutors every offer lessons or information for students who were differently wired in the brain department. I've been playing for 10 years and the best way I learn is through Rocksmith since it's more of a game approach/interface which makes it easier for some people to read (yes I've seen some of your lessons HAVE been turned into Rocksmith tracks through some modders and no not me). Though it doesn't beat a one on one tutor as they can correct bad habits and mistakes and point your in the correct direction.
Just curious thats all as I'm trying to find a method that works for me so I can learn and get better at all aspects of guitar.

Bernth, thanks for this wonderful exercise, Sir! I am a 64 year old, retired music professor. My major was the guitar. While teaching I was also out gigging for many years while I was raising my children. My hands are, well, badly trained. I see clearly how you are ~almost~ always using one finger-per-fret positioning, at least until a stretch is needed; like at that 7-12 hammer-on and pull off. Now, I can reach that with the forbidden "thumb up above the neck", but don't have the pinky power to slam 12 down when my thumb is down behind the fretboard where it should be. I can't even explain that I'm able to do that when everything says I shouldn't be able to. Maybe demonic possession, LOL. Anyway, I am now getting blessed by watching you young guys and gals tear it up, and also give an old rocker new tricks . . . I feel like I am getting paid back: for trying to help new players to have a treasured gift for life, even as you are doing. Keep up the great work, and keep your own music coming at us.
