Hey you got it to work I'm having starter problems too and I got a 300 myself sometimes that solenoid gives you a headache man anyways you got it to work
When you have a starter apart like that, remember to clean up the commutator, which is that copper drum section that the 4 pickups run on. Just a few passes with some fine steel wool.

Definitely just the solenoid. Try sanding contacts

was a bigger project then i thought. engine is seized and thats why it wasnt budging. decided to take the parts off
