It breaks my heart that Finn had so much potential that was just... Wasted. They set him up to be a Jedi from the promo posters to most of the movie, and they never used it. He had the potential to humanize the stormtroopers the way Clone Wars did for the clones and they used none of it.
i think they’re are gonna make him a jedi bc if u pay attention to the subliminal messages in the movies, he a couple of times said “i can feel it”, referring to a connection to the force hence a jedi or force sensitive being
I’ve always said if Rey didn’t exist then the story could be adapted into something even better then the prequels Finn was literally raised like an old republic Jedi because he was taken from a family and sent to war when he was old enough to hold a weapon
I know I'm not the only one who thinks Finn would've made a much more interesting main protagonist and character. I mean a rouge stormtrooper turned to the resistance and becoming a Jedi sounds like such an amazing concept. He just has so much unexplored depth to him. Remember this line? "I was taken from a family I'll never know." I want to see that. I want an emotional conflict of Finn dealing and coping with the fact he's never seen or known his parents or any other relatives and how that affects his journey to becoming a Jedi. But Disney was like, "Haha, no." Doesn't stop me from loving him though. Even now he feels so grounded to Earth and is so honest and protective of his friends. A respectable moral for a character that wasn't treated with barely any respect.
The parallells between his fight with Nines on takodana and his fight against Kylo are actually stunning, and I wish they actually went somewhere with them so they could be appreciated, rather than in fan videos and our dreams of Finn as an actual character. Thank you for this
I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, and I never cared to watch the new trilogy after hearing the reviews about it, but Finn seems to be a great character full of potential here! It's a shame it wasn't expanded on more
It honestly makes me sick. When I see wasted potential of a series and a character (especially when it’s Star Wars) it just makes me so angry. Finn is a clear example of that, all that potential the directors had…….. WASTED Thanks for reminding that to us all again and I must say brilliant choice of music

@@DarthRaven2077 why u think that?

Stormtrooper turned Jedi who, in the final film, leads a stormtrooper insurrection against the First Order. Could've been a top 3 SW character.
Finn could have been brilliant. Lots of wasted potential.
@@AVSoulEdits For sure, it’s so disappointing

fin should have been the main character of the sequel trilogy
Definitely.
@@AVSoulEdits yepp

Finn is actually my Favorite Character from the New Star Wars Trilogy when I watched The Force Awakens in Theaters

This is actually such a great video. Finn could have been such a great character. Excellent work
2:05 the best part
I am mad that they didn’t make him a Jedi. He would have been such a badass Jedi

I agree and thanks :)
To the character I resonated most with 🥲 who could have been the Jedi I needed.
You are to me Mr. Boyega. You are that Jedi in my mind.
Your Content Dude Is Look Like Ah Mini Trailer Of Characters
So much potential
His potential was insane, probably one of the most wasted characters ever.
I really hope in episode X, Finn becomes the Jedi master he was destined to be
this makes finn look like a good character to bad Disney screwed him up
thank for hearting my comment
No problem :)
@@AVSoulEdits thanks
They wasted this character because of his skin color
Yeah, such a stupid reason to ruin a great character.
YES! Disney is racist
seeing this now i would do anything to have Disney redo the squat trilogy
NOOO🙄🙄🤡🤡🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
If anyone were to redo it, it should be George.
❤
I heard the original idea was that he would be gay for Poe and that he was the son of Mace Windu
That would’ve completely ruined the character. Thank god they didn’t use that idea
@@manuelhatfield3165 They ruined it anyway, he had so much potential
Fin is underrated try and not convince me
can you do more star wars
please do one on anakin to darth vader: descent into the dark side
