  • What are the things you are not fond of on your bike. I kind of had a hard time on this, which is good I think.

Buys a SPORT touring bike, wants boards and a shifter like a Harley. Ya, and a Ducati makes a crappy dirt bike.

Sorry you are missing that cruise control...I personally don't use it. 🤷‍♀️ You need a train horn I think!

Hey Bob, I ride the 2012 Goldwing and there is only two things I dont like, the inadequate GPS and not adjustable handlebars. Everything else is normal and good

My two biggest gripes on my ST1300 is the engine heat, and the weight. Otherwise a great bike.

  • @luc1ferblack

floorboards and heel toe shifters do not exist for these bikes so saying they are things you don't like about the bike doesn't make any sense as they don't have them. The horn is standard crap like most a denali soundbomb is a good upgrade

I’ve ridden a Yamaha royal star tour deluxe for about 10 years ( not selling it ) , just got an 04 st1300 always loved these machines, but I love the floorboards , the cruise control, the saddlebags that opens from top , and the self canceling turn signals on my royal star ….

Thanks for the ride. I ride a 2015 HD Ultra and am pleased with it the way she is. I’ve had 3 bikes, a 2006 Honda VTX 1300R, a 2013 HD Fatboy and the current one, all of which have had floorboards and heel toe shifter. Can’t imagine not having either. Stay safe.

I owned three of the ST1300 bikes over their run of production. My number one complaint was the heat coming up into the seat area. It made the bike very uncomfortable on a hot southern summer day. On long trips I would get a bag of ice when fueling up and sit on that for a while. Other than missing cruise control, not much else I would call a deal breaker. Very smooth powerful bike. Hope you enjoy it!

I do believe most bikes have issues that we don’t like, but most are fixable. I still think that’s one fine machine! I would miss cruise control for sure. I have the two bikes, they cover all the things I want to do on motorcycles, so I really don’t have any complaints…..

Haven’t seen a video from you in a while and was starting to get worried. Glad you’re doing well. 😎👍

I miss my 2010 ST. A turkey took it out. I agree about the cruise but mine had a throttle lock that worked great. Heated grips is something I have to have in my old age. The pandemic made parts unavailable to fix it so I broke down and got a 21 Goldwing.

I’m consider myself lucky that I have a modest stable of bikes to choose from. My issue is I get too attached to my motorcycles and can’t sell them, hence, my stable. One bike I’ve had since 1981, so you get the picture.

Got a 2010 1200rt-Love setting the cruise control on 65 and enjoying the ride 😊

I have a ST1300 and had another 5 or so years back. I agree with you on all these points. The one i have now has 65000 miles on it and runs great but when i get over 80 miles an hour my F1 light goes on and i haven't been able to fix the problem. When i turn it off and then back on it doesn't come back on. I still like my ST1300 but it really should have cruise control. Great vid.
