High/stinger leg. Those are supposed to be the B phase. You are cool enough to have a promo code. Your channel is awesome. Nice job on the repair....those spots can be a pain in the butt. 🤘👍🤘🤙 I have the "old" model the FP VP85 and it kicks butt
@@EverythingHVACR thanks for the sentiment bro. Things are great. Its in the 100°'s everyday but its fun. Hope all is well with you too. Stay hydrated my man
Nice repair. They sell little brass wire wheels at home depot or Lowes. Helps a lot to clean copper with them on drill. I would have washed that coil . Brushing the surface isn't going to get on the dirt out in-between rows of coils..
Thanks piney! I have a wire wheel just didn't use it here, the coil was a single coil and wasn't bad but customer has been told all equipment needs to be maintained
@@EverythingHVACR it's a 2 row coil so dirt gets trapped in center. Yea I totally understand. I won't clean anything for free either. We all have customers only call for repairs and no maintenance. Still nice repair get them back up and running. 😉👍
When I pull through my gauges (sman 480 so I don’t need a micron gauge) I pull through my ref and my vac lines pretty quick. If you like the analogs you could use a T at your suc or dis which ever you’d prefer for your micron gauge and pull through 4 hoses. When you’re ready close off your ref line hook up your tank, open line pull vac a little longer to clear any air from vac to tank and let her eat when you’re ready. Good fix. Just fixed one like that on a little 100 ton chiller.
It is undercharged, your condenser was filthy/plugged. Brushing off the surface didn't do anything! That is why your amp draw is low/ suction high/ superheat high/ yet condenser pressure is in range. Refrigeration 101 should have taught you that you can't charge a system with dirty coils. You should have at least put in the entire factory charge, and cleaned the coils on a follow up call.
Daikin/Goodman equipment is total junk. Had a 10 ton RTU with a leak on 1st stage cond. coil. Only 3 years old, replacement coil ( under warranty) leaked in same area after 3 months. Repaired it instead of asking for another coil.
Good stuff 💪🏽 love the repair
Thanks Adrian! 💪
Nice work! Thanks for the video.
Thanks RJ!
Great videos featuring job its always good to see ya
Thanks XRAY Bravo!
Sweet man. If you look up "4 wire delta" configuration you'll get an explanation on the high leg. It's just the way the neutral is tapped.
Thanks John! I'll have to check that out, always learning something.
Good job man
Thanks HVAC Work!

nice heat control with that torch !
Thanks r aeronca! Gotta be careful with those tiny lines.
I have one of those jewelers size torches I use for those. The hardest part is getting to the leak.
Yessir, wish I had a small rig for small roof top stuff. Thanks George 💪
Gotta love wild leg 3 phase.
Yessir, Thanks Matthew!
🙏💪👍🇺🇸❄ great job n vid. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching shine!

Yeah good call, thanks MOONLIGHT! I use a tee to charge with my probes, I need to get one for vacuum
@@EverythingHVACR yellow jacket makes a vacuum manifold as well.
I'll have to check that out, Thanks man 💪
Always check for hot leg to ground to be safe 🙏
Yessir, learned a lesson, Thanks neilvester!
👍
🙏
If your worried about heat look at a jewlers torch head...
I'll have to do that, Thanks Spymoocow!
Good little vid with a shot of Bourbon ... Thx for posting ... When's the next live stream ?
Hell yeah, everything is better with a shot of bourbon, Thanks Eddy!
Not sure on the stream, we've all been crazy busy
That sun looked brutal up there - not a sliver of shade to be found!
No doubt a little shade helps a lot. it has been ridiculously hot here and is not going away anytime soon. Thanks Shaun!

I'm not sure what that means but thank you... I think 😆
208v 3ph 4 wire with the high leg delta can kill ya if your not careful...I think that's a delta configuration...
Good call Thanks Gen X RedNex! I like the name by the way 😆, just never thought to check all the legs to ground.
Just glad it didn't kill my new pump
@Florida Man HVACR interesting stuff, Thanks Florida Man! I'll think twice next time, my old pump would have been a puff of smoke
Gotta watch those widowmakers...you hit that high leg with a device that's not smart like that and BOOM!!!!
Yessir, ive seen a pump go boom, you'd think I learned my lesson but apparently not lol
Not 1/4" tube, it is 5mm tube & coil. They suck. I know, I used to work there.
Thanks Rodney! I was just guessing, this is merica we don't use the metric system lol but your right they suck.
The red light means the gas balance open 😆
😆 red is bad apparently

That was factory charge, I'll have to take that refer 101 class.
What makes you think the superheat is high?
He could see right through the condenser so I don’t think it was plugged…
Thanks 89DHVAC! Don't feed the trolls lol.
