I never liked him. I was so stupid, he's my favourite, so funny. No one deserved the award more. Brought tears to my eyes seeing Kaley's reaction. In fact been watching big bang all day today, restarted watching from series one, I love this show so much

Some cast members of shows forge friendships and hang out offset; others just see acting as a 9-5 job, i.e. go in, do your job, go home. TBBT cast genuine likes each other and have become friends, on and off the set. Same with the cast of FRIENDS. Then you've got shows like DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and CHARMED, where the female cast tolerated or even downright despised each other, resulting in a few expulsions.
People love Jim Parsons the person as much as Sheldon Cooper the character! He's always well spoken and sweet! Incredibly likeable and so deserving! Congrats Jim!

Perfect moment! I love The Big bang Theory, and its amazing, talented cast so much! There is so much genuine love and chemistry between this cast, which only makes me love them even more. Jim Parsons deserved this. Good speech too, mixing in a little humour and sweetness. ....And, Kaley's reaction is as epic and honest as anything can be.
You can tell they are not acting - they really care about each other that much. To have such heartwarming sincerity in Hollywood is eminently refreshing and bespeaks of the magic of the show.

It's really heart warming to see Jim hugging Kaley because in The Big Bang Theory show, Sheldon (Jim's character) has difficulties in expressing human emotions that there's even an episode where he's struggling to force himself to hug Penny (Kaley's character) as a christmas present.
