Don’t fall for the reach back
As a nerd (unfortunately, I'm going through a divorce, but I digress), not only am I seeing similar behaviors, some will actually gaslight into putting them in the same space as pookies and Ray rays of they don't submit to them.
I'm 41 years old, and I've also noticed that women will actively seek some of the so-called nerds but will also show their vitriol by expecting them to over perform when they didn't required that for the dudes that they overlooked the "nerds" to chase. The reason why I believe the "nerds" aren't prioritized until now is:
1. Being smart wasn't as attractive as being physically athletic or presenting.
2. Most nerds are socially awkward and aren't socially equipped. It's understandable that women don't find that attractive; the problem is expecting a pookie to have a nerd's drive when it comes to making money, protecting and providing.
