It got cancelled for Avengers Assemble. Everyone comparison I've ever seen says that Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes was superior and I agree. It was a bright spot in my life during it's time.
I mean I preferred the Intro song to Earth's Mightiest Heroes.... I think thats all I can really say at this point since it's been year since I have seen either one

This show was so good. I don’t think Ant-man has EVER been portrayed this great. It was amazing.
Yeah, this Ant man was similar to the comics Scott in the MCU is portrayed as a thief in the beginning and not really that smart while Scott in the comics is smart and has the same outfit as in this cartoon.
Kevin Tsunami I think you’re confusing scott lang with hank pym. Scott lang is a thief and electronics expert in the comics where his main motivation is his daughter Cassie, just like in the MCU (so technically, they were pretty accurate).
The ant man for the majority of this show is hank pym where he is known for his intelligence before giving the mantle to Scott.
This show made Ant-Man one of my favorite characters in all of Marvel, and I was really disappointed that the MCU was going to be Scott Lang instead of Hank Pym. I enjoy Scott Lang now, but Pym is such an important and dynamic character within the Marvel universe that I miss him getting his fair due in the MCU.

@@k-master973I think the director for the Ant-Man movie had a bias towards Scott Lang Ant-Man. A criminal turned superhero was more interesting than a mentally unstable superhero who created one of the greatest villains and people ( and the Marvel industry ) act like this dude doesn't deserve a second chance even when he tries to repent and fix his mistakes. They blame the actions of an alternate Hank to Mainstream Hank. Ultimate Hank beat Janet and comic readers shifted their attention to Mainstream Hank and blamed *HIM* instead of Ultimate Hank. So dude's labeled a wife beater even though he was going through a tough time, and didn't mean to hit her.
This had my favorite incarnation of the Hulk. He was perfect here.

Let me edit this.🙄 I remember THE episode (WHICH IS NOT WHAT WE JUST WATCHED) when Hawkeye went to get Banner who was the Hulk. He threatened the Hulk telling him to bring out Banner now or else. The Hulk started laughing & changed to Banner. 😁

Me too, I've been watching it since I was like 5, it made me love Hank, Clint, tony, t'challa, and banner. The reason why I didn't call the by their hero names was because they didn't feel like superheros they felt like people. I always liked the comic designs for characters, probably because this show introduced me to the marvel universe, therefore it sparked my preferences. I dont like thor, but I love emh thor, I don't like hulk, but I do like emh hulk. This show is the peak of the marvel universe.
Loved Hawkeye in EHM, he was a complete badass, hated him in avengers assemble... All he was was just full of sarcasm, nothing else.
This show was great because it was also more related to the comics, while Avengers Assemble was a good show but it was trying to be like the MCU way too much.
I mean, if us star wars fans can get clone wars season 7, then i think its time we push for emh season 3

They basically downgraded the Avengers cartoon. Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes was definitely one of the best animations ever.

Avengers EMH was literally an almost perfect 1:1 adaptation of the 616 universe. They did an even better job than the MCU did in all honesty. The original roster (Iron Man, Wasp, Ant-Man, Thor, Hulk) was there, Cap didn't join until mid-season, the Fantastic Four was present in New York, the X-Men were also present in Westchester County. Best of all, they didn't nerf ANY of the main powerhouse characters. Right off the bat, Thor & Hulk were established as the powerhouses of the team. Then later Captain Marvel. Most powerful Thor we've ever seen. He was reaching Superman-levels during season-2 against the Kree & Galactus. It was just an amazing show.
Not quite. Iron Man was based on the first Iron Man movie version. And they did change some of the characters origins. And when and how they joined the Avengers.
Such a shame they had to milk the MCU
MCU didn't have the rights of fantastic 4 and x men but still EMH and Spectacular Spider-man are true emotions

It's said that this show is set in the same universe as Spectacular Spider-Man and Wolverine and The X-Men. Along with the movies Hulk vs Thor, Hulk vs Wolverine and Thor Tales of Asgard.
A:EMH was actually more comic accurate than the movies
Well, it had less limits because 1) its a show divided into mid sized eps, so they can put in more things from the comics without having to make a 2 hour movie of it and 2) it's a cartoon, so it has more creative freedom than a PG13 movie

They could feasibly bring back Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, but Spectacular Spider-man is a different story. You seem Spectacular Spider-man was made when Sony had the TV rights to Spider-Man which they sold back to Disney in 09 (that’s part of the reason it ended) but that also means that the show was written and produced by Sony and not Marvel, which makes it basically impossible for Marvel to do anything with it since they only own the rights to TV Spider-man but not that show specifically.
I wouldn't want it to happen we'd just get fleeced and trolled for years like with teen Titans 🤢

I finished the whole show again. It’s so damn accurate to the comics I hate it when they cancelled it. Avengers Assemble sucks is like the movies... even the X-Men were in that show and mutants were a part of it. Punisher was mentioned a few times and others like Aleksander Lurkin and Count Nefaria of the MAGGIA organization.
AEMH was the best Avengers cartoon Marvel has ever done.
Adam Filth Abengers Assemble could not decide if it wanted to imitate the movies. You would see some characters look like their comic counterparts, then their next appearance they look like their movie counterparts with no explanation for their drastic change. The show completely butchered the infinity gems story. Thanos in that awful show tried to conquer the universe with only 5 stones. We all know there are 6, so where is the 6th stone. The cartoon never explained that because the writers of the show are not good with math and did not even realize that Thanos was only using 5 instead stones on the show 🤦🏿♂️😖
This show was my first exposure to marvel along with the iron man series where tony’s a teenager. Watched them on Netflix.

EMH was honestly the only Marvel cartoon that deserves to be mentioned alongside the DCAU (well, except for X-Men and Spider-Man in the 90s). Crazy that they killed it for no good reason.

This show was spot on with the evolution of Iron man's armor. Every few episodes, his armor was different to reflect Starks constant tinkering.
And avengers assemble his suit didn’t change until season 4 and some times where he wore a different suit I get the make it perfect no need for upgrade but stark has all the ideas
Bottom line, production companies don’t care about fan service. Anyone that thinks they do is woefully naive. This show could’ve ran for so many more seasons, and should have ran for at least one more. In my opinion, this show is superior to young justice in the way it handled major comic plots and events, while still including minor story arcs throughout
I really liked Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and I especially liked how the opening theme for the show ended with the characters that would be the primary focus of the episode. I absolutely adore the opening song for the show, Fight as One, but I have yet to find out who the artists who did that opening were, I've found a few artists that did covers of the song but I have not yet found out who it was that did the opening theme for the series proper, I can still hear that song playing in my head and was severely disappointed that none of the live-action Marvel Avengers films played so much a snippet of that song at any point. Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed that opening themes for shows in western media are seen a liability more than a necessity anymore, with anime series all having proper opening themes while western cartoons now just having a quick intro that lasts maybe six or seven seconds that proclaims the series title with maybe a little music before diving into the show. The opening song is more than a buffer to the show proper, it's a way to get you hyped up for what's usually going to be happening in the show and act as a quick introduction to aspects of the main cast you should be made aware of.
I really wish that Earth's Mightiest Heroes had continued into a 3rd, 4th, and even 5th season. To make matters more frustrating, there was no wind up to Avenger's Assemble, it just showed up in the timeslot Earth's Mightiest Heroes had occupied a week before, and first episode of Avenger's Assemble made it seem like it was a follow-up series to Earth's Mightiest Heroes with a different art style (which is fine, series will often change art style over the years with popular properties that are longrunning) but then incongruities between the two series started showing up with each following episode until it became very clear the two series had different continuities.

I loved the story line of what happened to the Enchantress when she was turned into a fire demon. The story for EMH was very hard hitting and it didn't hold back on tragedy and self-discovery. But, because of the movies the show had to change to fit the Disney movie model

The story was great, the themes were great the action and animation was great, the characters were great, the script was great, everything about the show was spectacular. Including that theme song bro that theme song is the best.
That wasn’t Disney’s fault it was Jeph Loeb’s Because he thinks kids are slow witted morons that don't have the mental capacity to understand and follow a story arc/plot that lasts longer than 20 minutes, he insisted on cartoons having single-episode plots because he doesn't think serialized storytelling works in kids' cartoons(even though they have in the past) and that animation should be strictly for children and ONLY children.

This show was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'll never forget the 100% anguish I felt when Assembled replaced it.
I tried to give Assembled a chance but it's clear I wasn't part of the target demographic.
I love how EMH made a cool villain out of one of the lamest in the comics. Grim Reaper. He was originally a C-Tier page filler villain whose biggest claim to fame was being the second fiddle Death of Apocalypse’s new Horsemen. In EMH he was a legitimate threat with an awesome redesign and a with new aura of badassery. Unfortunately I haven’t seen any other versions like this and even the comics still use that stupid helmet...
EMH, all day. Would love to see where they were going to go with this.
Loved the idea of utilising story arcs from the 60s-ish to present with new and refreshing takes to a modern audience.
Hopefully, Disney+ sees the value on this show and brings it back. I'm holding out for it; with Young Justice, Clone Wars being brought back an aspect of this being impossible is now possible, so who knows.

The Avengers toon was for me the first time in a long time that Marvel was close to the level of DC animated.
They got it backwards. Should've had the movie reflect the show.
Or the comics. Instead the original medium is used to market the movies. Peter Quill was never quite himself after 2014.

I think everything should’ve just kept its own style and identity that way there’s variety and there’s something for everyone. The homogenization and synergy of the marvel universe makes it feel boring

Man hearing all those cancelled storyline plans laid out for potential new seasons of EMH just breaks my heart.
Imagine the same team of writers and cast behind S1 without any tampering from guys like Man of Action, Jeph Loeb and others who did Assemble pulling off all those stories and expanding EMH’s universe to 5+ seasons. It was downright crime what they did just for that fucking MCU synergy. I’m all for the MCU but one thing I can’t stand is the fact that everything has to be modeled after the movies from now on or else “it won’t sell”.
Worst part is some ppl do fall for that and won’t accept anything if it doesn’t have the slightest whiff of MCU in its contents, same case happening for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game. The comics, shows, and games now have to follow a certain pattern on the basis of the movies to be made and that trumps any sense of creativity and originality on any of these stuff.
Earth's Mightest was AWESOME, and them using actual comic book story lines was MORE AWESOME! I like Assemble, but wish they would go back to the comic book story lines.

Meanwhile, even if my life depended on it, I couldn't tell you you if Avengers Assembled even had a theme song, much less what any of the lyrics might have been.

The thing I hated most was the difference between A:EMH and AA was the art style. In A:EMH, every single character has a different body design. Hulk was huge, Thor had his huge cape, Cap was buffer than Iron Man, Hawkeye was slim, and Black Panther was lean. In AA, everyone has the exact same proportions.
I don't mind Avengers Assemble, but this show is hands down my favorite Avengers cartoon! Ever!!

CSquared 84 Avengers Assemble just sucks to me, I mean it’s just lazily imitating the MCU... and only imitating it on a surface level, none of the quality, good characters or effort is there at all, it’s not even worth watching because it just does absolutely nothing with it’s plot, compared to Young Justice where they actually put effort in the show, its clear which is better, which is probably why Young Justice is remembered more than this show.

To me Earth's Mightiest Heroes was the best. Everyone had something to add and improve upon the Avengers mythos. From why the Hulk stayed The Hulk and didn't turn into Banner that much. To Thor's budding relationship with Jane Foster. To why Fury, for a little while, had both black and white hair at the start of the series. It was just a great intro to the characters and how they developed.
i never knew that s3 stuff was leaked so hearing what they were makes me even more mad. sounds like it would have been great with those storylines

I rewatched the second season on Disney+, watching the first season for the first time, and what stuck out to me were two moments that reminded me of Endgame: The walk in the space suits, similar to that walk in the quantum suits, and Thor's decapitation of Ultron, a real "I WENT FOR THE HEAD" moment, but this one having Mjolnir
Ain't gonna lie the opening is fire. It's actually got me into this show and stayed for the action 😁

I’m just getting into it, I saw a few episodes before but never the whole 2 seasons, so time to binge
I discovered the show on Netflix, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I then got my son to watch it, and he loved it as well. I then bought both seasons on DVD, and my son still watches them from time to time.
I loved this show it did almost everything right and just had its own little sweet spot amongst the best superhero cartoons. It sucked so hard to see this go, the ultron episodes were my favorites.
They even had Thor say his badass line of "Ultron we would have words with thee" from Busiek's run. Oh it was so good.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was awesome. It's up there with Batman: The Animated Series, Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice, Teen Titans, and Wolverine and the X-Men. Which are, in my opinion, some of the best animated comic book shows of all time. (Honorable mentions in no particular order are: X-Men: Evolution, The Batman, Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, X-Men 1992, Beware The Batman, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, and Batman Beyond)

Yeah if you didn't know yet, our boi used to be in the military. Look up his Agent Venom origins video, the one that goes over Flash Thomspon's military career that led him to becoming Agent Venom. He mentions in that video how he thought it was cool to see a character done like that

Erick Reyes No I’m not. I find Evolution to be the better X-Men show. Mostly because it gave the best version of Wolverine without shilling the fuck out of him.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes was one of the best cartoons of my childhood... So good... And to see it replaced with the garbage cartoons that Marvel airs today really sucks.

Earths mightiest Heroes was what made child me get into the comic aspects and really love the characters and the parts of marvel that gets shadowed by the mcu. Like a true masters of evil that has actually good villains or the secret invasion that the avengers assemble never gave us.
I remember watching this when I was like four years old. I would always run to the tv to watch this when my parent's stopped watching on it. My favorite episode was where the avengers had to team up with the villains to take on Annihilus and also the iron man episode where he had control over the world and multiple iron man sentinels and drones were deployed everywhere

It was a dope series! Hated that it ended. The one this I wish they would’ve took from this show was Black Panthers Vibranium daggers and adapted them into the movie.

Instead of having the shows be like the movies, Disney should’ve had the show be like the ultimate comics. They have an ultimate spider-man show where Spider-Man teams up with the avengers sometimes, so why not have an ultimate TV Universe? That could’ve been awesome but Disney doesn’t give a crap :(
The job is to make money, not make people happy
One of the best things about Avengers:EMH, is that when the show tries to make a big universe. They didn’t change up the universe timeline, or introduce characters that are just in the movies, and make the kids assume that they should know the characters. Unlike Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man, where they would change continuities to some of their characters and shows, like for example, some of the X-men, Wolverine, The Fanatic Four, Punisher, etc, were on these two shows but as these shows went on the characters just stop appearing and the characters in the show act like they never existed. Another great example is the Ultimate Spider-man show itself, as once the show has ended, and the replace with the 2017 Spider-man. Shows like, Avengers Assemble, and Guardians of the Galaxy, would use the Spider-man from the 2017 show, whenever they crossover with him. And then just act like the previous Spider-man show never existed in that universe.
Despite the fact one, all the shows that made to represent the MCU(Ultimate Spider-man, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the AOS, and Guardians) and 2017 Spider-man show are in different universe. And two the MCAU started off with Ultimate Spider-man so it doesn’t make sense to act like it never happened. It’s like saying if the CW is making a new Green Arrow show in a different universe, but the dc shows that are still running on the CW, had a crossover with the new Green Arrow and make it as if this Green Arrow from the new show is part in same continuity as the other shows like, the flash, supergirl, legends, batwoman, and black lightning, and the characters are like this Green Arrow has been in the same universe as these other, and acting Arrow never existed bc the show is over

One little thing I like was the costumes look like costumes, not armor ish tipe, wasp had a cool dress, ant man didn't look like a spin of iron man on so on

"Avengers: EMH" was one of my favorite superhero shows of all time. I remember watching "Avengers Assemble" afterwards, realizing that it was less serialized and more episodic, and mourning the loss of EMH.
Assemble became more serialized in Season 2 I think, and it carried to later seasons.

One of the animated shows that managed to successfully expand and include a large cast of characters was Justice League (2001-2004), which along with their enormous cast expanstion after 2 seasons was rebranded as Justice League Unlimited. In an ideal world, Avengers: Earth's Mightest Heroes could have become as successful as JL/JLU.
I loved this series. Still do. It was just good. The cast was excellent and each one had defining personalities and traits that made me feel closer to them than I had in years! I had never been a big fan of Hawkeye or Wasp but this show's interpretation really made me like them. The team felt like people who actually had differences and had to work together. Half the fun was seeing them play off each other, which just made the awesome battles and arcs that much better. Good animation, good acting and good stories. Couldn't ask for more if I tried.
Compared to that AA is just so...lacking. It feels lifeless, phoned in. Probably because it just feels like a watered down version of the MCU mixed with an even more watered down EMH. Without harping too much on it, EMH was like good wine to be savored and enjoyed time and time again. AA is cheap beer that you could get anywhere trying to be more than what it actually is.

Love the show and most everything about it. If I had any issues at all, it would be the character animation. But loved the character interaction, from Tony Stark's interactions with both Ant Man and Mr. Fantastic, to even having a poker night with the FF. During the 90's I loved reading the Avengers comics, so bring those stories into cartoon form for me was perfect.
This was one of the best comic to animation adaptations I’ve ever seen. I loved that show so much.

Avengers EMH is (in my opinion) one of the 4 greatest animated superhero series EVER! The others being Batman TAS, Spectacular Spider-Man and Justice League.

I just recently felt nostalgia about the show as this was how I was first introduced to the Avengers way back in 2010 and rewatched the entire series. Hands down and without a doubt, the best Marvel show of all time!
I was even surprised to see that there seems to be a recent surge in conversation about the show like with this video and even learnt that they were actually setting up an entire ANIMATED MARVEL UNIVERSE with confirmation that Spectacular Spiderman (objectively the best spiderman cartoon), Hulk VS and Wolverine and The X-Men series being part of the universe!
Now that Disney+ is here, and there has been a recent revival of amazing shows like Young Justice and Clone Wars, I'm sure that if enough of us speak up about how this show was so beloved (and profitable), I believe we could see the return of such a gem.
If enough conversation comes up, I'm confident this show could be revived again and continue our dream of an animated marvel universe which rivals the likes of the DCAU (Justice League Animated/Batman Animated) and even rival shows like Young Justice and Avatar The Last Airbender if they bring back the original creators and voices of the show with some new and existing talents of the animated industry like Lauren Montgomery and Josh Keaton back as the rightful voice of Spiderman.
I hope they keep the original vision and Thomas Perkins' art style of the show with an updated animation quality and some modernised and mature themes and also bring in new characters like Miles Morales, Ms Marvel, Namor, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange and even obscure teams like Squadron Supreme, Agents of Atlas, The Ultimates, Runaways, Excalibur/MI13, Power Pack, Defenders of the Deep, The Winter Guard, Young Avengers, The Annihilators, Alpha Flight, The Ultimate Avengers, The Eternals, Illuminati and etc. They should also tie up loose ends like the New Avengers, Hulk's story arc, Surtur arc, expand on the universe/multiverse with Secret Invasion, the Kree-Skrull War and Spiderverse and introduce beloved storylines as well as new original ones like Infinity Gauntlet, Civil War (introducing Winter Soldier), Dark Phoenix, Days of Future Past, World War Hulk(s), Avengers vs X-Men, Dr Doom (Doomwar), House of M, War of the Realms, Infinity Wars, Fear Itself, Absolute Carnage, Siege, a less rushed Galactus invasion and even Secret Wars 2015 as a huge finale event!!!
They could also do Solo Spinoffs for members of the main team along the way and revive Spectacular Spiderman, Wolverine and The X-Men, Hulk VS series, Fantastic Four with new shows like Inhumans, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Defenders, Midnight Sons, Doctor Strange Sorcerers Supreme, Deadpool, Thunderbolts, Agents of Atlas and Black Panther King of Wakanda to go concurrently with the Avengers Series!
Man I really miss this Show. Felt like Comics but in a Animated Format. Everything is Badass in this Cartoon even Ms. Marvel
Most people look to the MCU, when they think of the Avengers characters. I, on the other hand think of THIS show. In my opinion; this series handled the characters leagues better than Joss Whedon, the Russo Brothers or any of those people at Marvel Studios did.
HYDRA was a bigger threat, Asgard and the Nine Realms were more fantasy based (as they should be,) Ultron was more intimidating and to top it off...EMH had a bigger villains roster
A series adaptacion will always be better then a movie one, they have time

I really want you to do an episode on “The Batman” (2004). It’s my favorite superhero show and they had ideas for things to do after the finale
I'm the odd man out and I grew up w out avengers assemble but I watched this show for the first time last year and I loved it.
I was able to watch A:EMH with my kids as they released, and we all enjoyed them. I think I did so more than them however. That said, I would definitely rank it as a top series, up there with JL/JLU, as it struck me that they were trying for the same long form story telling. And I can only say I was massively stoked to see it pop back up on Disney+ when I was browsing through the titles there.
I LOVED Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Some of my favorite scenes were when Cap saved Vision after fighting ultron and Vision explained his view of being perfect meaning to be more human and the scene where Hank Pym was trying to talk to the Serpent Society because he wanted to help them. I felt so bad for him when the Avengers rejected his viewpoint, leading to him quitting.

It'd be great if the show were brought back. I'd love to see the resolution to Hank Pym's character arc. And maybe see Ms. Marvel in her more iconic lightning bolt costume, and also see Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver join the team.

Thanks to Disney+ I have come to really enjoy this show. Its's comic accuracy & staying true to the heroes & villians has made this my #1 animated show. I still love Batman, Justice League & Spider-man, but as far as stories go I think this Avengers is better then all the fore mentioned competition.

This show made Hank pym one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. (Hank is far superior to Scott in my opinion)
they probably replaced it because in Earth's mightiest heroes , the Black Widow is a double agent and a spy for Hydra, but the Nat character so far as we know in the movies is a good guy, so they maybe wanted a cartoon to reflect that, that was basically the only difference between the 2 cartoons

Edit: WOW never had this many comments. But I’ve notice in the second season it’s not as good. I’m on the third episode and am disappointed in how they handled S2E2: Thanos Rising. It was handled like any other episode. And it doesn’t seem like they’re building up to something like the first season.

Bring back Earth’s mightiest! It was a masterpiece of storytelling and visual spectacles!! It was a love letter to old school marvel comics with an updated twist!
Marvel cartoons ceased to exist to me after EMH and the direct to video animated movies discontinued.
