Challenge accepted😎
Yea that's a win in the bag
Conspiracy theorists would say that this entire thing was discussed beforehand with how fast that response was
Nicd
Challenge premeditated😎
No chalk if you dare
Okay!!! Let's do that!
Next video will be: "Reason I did shoulder surgery!"
😬
Yay!
But you can do workouts with rings for recovery
Yeeesss 🙏👍💪😄🍀
Good recovery Anton
If you don't do a fly-away into an iron cross, I'm going to unsub.

*Mom why is there a shirtless man floating on the playground?*
*Don't look at him Timmy, if he catches you staring he'll eat you to complete his daily macros*
Don't look at him Timmy he'll steal your gains
now I believe Timmy is actually your neighbor
Well, I guess children are just sources of protein walking about.
Don't look at him Timmy he'll eat you for protein
Timmy: *makes eye contact*
Juji: “Oh cool, dinner”
Tom looks so good, physically and emotionally he looks to be in the best shape since iv seen him on the channel
Man you're too kind!

Dude, like the whole video I just kept thinking this lol
Tom & Juji: "Hey let's do a fun challenge on the rings!"
**challenges two freaks of nature**
"Freaks of nature"? Nah ... remember: Many rocks are shaped by nature through water and wind!
I don't know about an Iron Cross, but I can personally pull off an amazing Wooden Cross: it's when you lay down on the beer pong table after a particularly devastating loss
Lol

@@CALITRIXfitness hes insanely strong in any bodyweight movement, man can do a 1 arm muscle up few calisthenics athletes can do that

Coming from a gymnast: the best way to warm up for an iron cross is definitely to work and go through the motions with a band as well as lower rings. If you aren't doing these reps with LOCKED OUT arms you're not going to progress well
Tom nailed the description of bands:
underrated but vital piece of equipment.
That's true if your aim is to get a perfect iron cross, but I'm pretty sure they're trying it with a slight bend of the arms to keep it safer, so they could warm up that way too.
@@millacabral9475 the slight bend is doing it incorrectly which can lead to shoulder strain as well as other injuries
good advice, another good warm up is rto support hold, bulgrian dips, and support swings
Doing it with straight arms is not possible for them without 1-2 years of tendon preparation(could take less depending on the person). Doing the cross with bent arms is much safer for them even though at that point it's not an iron cross anymore but at least they won't get tendonitis instantly.
I can’t stress this enough, I used to come to this channel to check out Juji’s workout and physique. Now I find myself hyper fixated on Tom’s improvement and overall abilities. Good Job Tom! 👌 Really impressed by you.
EXACTLY!!! lol. It's like hanging out with ol' pals
@Will_77 OH MY GOD, SAME. I am legit so proud of him .... honestly im in just absolute awe at how amazing he looks right now. SO HAPPY FOR YOU TOM .... i wish I could achieve what you've done
Juji was an insane athlete. I mean sure he is still strong flexible and fit but in his flashbacks he is a true gymnast. Super impressive to see a man of his build do moves like that. You are truly an inspiration Juji
There’s a lot of fun, seemingly silly stuff on this channel but the key message that pops out for me is that:
Here are a bunch of routines that could help you attain certain goals. You choose your goals. Go for it.
Hell yeah!
Cheers, gents!
:D
my favorite thing on this channel is that Tom puts the Kg translation everytime
Tom I'v been watching for prob a year and a half now you have gone through a total transformation. I aspire to build the kind of drive you guys have.
These edits of Juji training in the 2010’s were gold.
I legit thought Tom was joking when he said he biked around Europe lmao
You don't seem to be an OG
Nah dawg I lived another life, I was farmer
Manu3939393 not really I been watching for about 2 years
@@Levi_____ Mhh he mentioned that many times. I don't mean to gatekeep though, I don't really care
Manu3939393 you’re good 😂 I just must have missed it lol
I remember Magnus doing the Iron cross when he went to a gymnastics gym but I can't find the video for some reason 9:00
@Noah Habermaas thanks
Please don't get hurt Juji, you have a bodybuilding show...eventually
He said he's ok
Tom "Get up Juji your fine!" *thinking of the next video
Also Tom "He said he's ok"
Iron cross>posing oiled up ;).
New to Juji and Tom. Both have very likeable personalities which makes their content enjoyable to watch. From New Zealand 🦋🐞
I always love seeing any callabs with Magnus he’s a beast
I have often pondered on Tom and Juji's rings.... Keep up the sweet content 👍
Former rings specialist gymnast--
I'd give you the 2012 Iron Cross, Juji - looked great, especially with those jeans 😉
Love you guys. You've helped me more than you will ever know. London UK 💪🏼
I clicked on this video not realizing this video is fresh out the oven, feels great
I don't get it.....the video is identical if you watch it now or in a week.....literally identical.
@@lucideuphoria7092 don't lose sleep over it. It's a comment; that's it. Chill bro
Can’t wait to be in a place where I can mount rings.
Their not to bad actually might take you sometime to maintain movement but you should be hood within like 2 two 3 weeks taking into consideration you already have some muscle
Are there no trees where you are living?
@@e.e.8589 more like is there nothing above head level 😂
@@musicguy8912 you can hang them from basketball hoops or swing sets too if you can't find a tree
If it isn’t too cold and you’re comfortable climbing playground equipment, a swing set might be one of the better places.
4:09 footage from when juji attempted to go 10 seconds without flexing his shoulders for the first time in his life
4:08 When you ask a gym bro to curl outside the squat rack and he gives you this look
You guys always seem to find great content at an amazing volume
06:00 those are called stirrups btw
Dont let your wrist go. Flex it as if you were to hold a false grip. Very important for rigidity. Elbows twisted forwads and locked. Shoulders pushed down. The more you protract them the more you take weight off the back and to the chest.
Without locked out elbows its a cometely different movement. You should feel the pressure in your elbow. Jujis cross is more of a bodyweight fly, def not a cross.
Its a hard skill harder than planch dont expect it to come so ez, especially with long arms
Started working out because of this channel, then got a job at my gym, now training for a personal trainer cirt. You guys are the shit! always interesting exercise objectives, really encourages people to branch out and find what they find fun.
It feels like forever since we had you 4 back together. Much Love to Magnus & Anton.
Yasss. That advice at the end is fucking KEY for anyone. Change your goals to fit what you're doing. Don't get pissy when you're cutting and can't bench what you did in a bulk phase. Get happy you can do 20 more pushups. PREACH.
Dude... I faded away from watching juji and tom about a year ago.... I come back to see what their up to and toms physique has completely transformed! Heck yeah Tom!
I've been waiting for a video like this to come out for long, and I'm so happy to see it finally happen!
5:45. The weird gymnast pants are called stirrups.
You guys are both absolutely ripped right now.
Tom you look fantastic and your changes over the past 2 years are nothing short mind boggling.
It's very inspiring to watch both of you.
omg i didnt know how solid juji's bodyweight game was back in the day, i def wanna check out the book, also what a unit tom is, doing 100 milers and then rings :O
The pants are used so the judges can see if your legs are straight or bent easier, overall helps create a better line. They're wrapped around their feet so the material can stay taut and when you're tumbling you're actually wearing shorts. So floor and vault is when you're wearing shorts and everything else you're wearing the pants. Hope that helped clear thing up! Also love you guys and Tom's transformation is incredibly inspiring to me!
glad to see Tom well and playing outisde again
Your talk about rings mechanics was super interesting! Ive done some smaller for-fun stuff out here in the LA Original Muscle beach rings setup. The acrobatics ring frame is HUGE, and I love doing small posing maneuvers on it simply because its harder.
Dude thanks for this! I'm a comercial tile setter, and my shoulders and wrists are just torn up from the constant abuse. The stretches on the rings have alleviated alot of the pain and tightness
Hey Juji, I remember when you fought Chong Li in Bloodsport. 💪
Some of my favorite RUclipsrs challenging some of my other favorite RUclipsrs! ...Yay!
You're challenging Magnus and a former gymnast/current Russian to a bodyweight exercise.... brave stuff
the trousers we use on things like rings are just called longs
I’ve been away for a while....Tom you’re looking incredible my guy 👀💪 What is this transformation?! Now going back to watch all the videos I’ve missed 👍
Juji's old ring vids were the reason I spent 4 or 5 years doing primarily rings. Alongside handbalancing, running, and kettlebells. Was good times. Never got iron cross, but ended up getting one arm chin ups.
Juji: "All the arm wrestling" *proceeds to jerk the air*
Honestly it’s incredible to see Juji’s experience helping amplify Tom’s experience and see him transform. Both the guys looking massive these days
A good way to exercise on rings like this is to also setup a pulley system on the swing frame and have a counterweight that reduces your body weight. That way you can manage the full range of motion and build up to your full body weight.
The weight pin you guys use for grip blocks is perfect for a counterweight. Just need some smooth pulleys that have bearings and a bit of rope. A climbing harness is handy to clip the weight to.
I fucking love Tom. My kinda humor dude. The subtle “yeah I think if their pants pop off they could die” idk why that got me so badly
Much respect to Tom man. Made an incredible transformation and had stuck with it through all the challenges and barriers he had faced
Tom: I might not be the viewers but...
Tom tomorrow: I viewed this, I am the viewers
Glad to see you guys are doing well.
After watching the home gym video I grabbed some rings due to Juji's love for them. I just got my first sets of false grip pull ups today. Feeling hype. Thanks for everything. Love the content
When the quarantine and all this is lifted, you guys definetly should try out Coed Cheerleading. That's a sport where you could test many of the skills you guys have learned during all these amazing years!
Taking part of my Christmas bonus, and ordered me some grp genie rings. Stoked!!
you guys look like life is great right now and im happy about that.
I used to surf a lot til I broke my neck, recovered and started surfing again like I didn't skip a day. Since then (2 years), I've gained 15lbs (primarily upper body, real chest/back workouts) and I could BARELY stand up on the board when went out last a few months ago. Its crazy how the body responds to weight gains/losses.
Proper Iron cross is with locked elbows guys :) When the elbows are bent, it's basically just a really wide dip lol
My elbows are bent like that, we definitely didn't get it close this time :)
You guys should defently check Yuri Chechi out. He's an Italian Olympic Gold medalist on the rings (in '96) he's 50 now and he still is a freaking beast, mainly coaching calisthenics stuff. He's been training his body for 45 years straight.
Awesome video as always anyway, thanks for the quality content!
Hey there’s a thing called rings trainers that one of my old gymnast coaches built a long time ago. It basically makes it so instead of your hands supporting the weight you can move it further up your forearm. If you want I could take a picture next time we use them. My coach made them himself so idk where you could buy some.
Guys juji is insanely gifted ,for anyone viewing , probably only train the iron cross if you have someone there that knows a thing or two to say the least
Yayy were gonna see Magnus and Anton again, Lets Go......
You guys, Magnus and Anton always brighten my days, great attitudes and amazing content always. Never change all of you! 🤘
Dumbell fly's helped me a lot with shoulder mobility, also dips.
Best thing I ever bought before this pandemic: rings
Best thing I bought, food for me to train
For anyone interested into learning iron cross, I really wouldnt recommend doing what they said they did (just trying to do it till you get it)
The iron cross is an excercise that is super hard on the joints.
Steven low in overcoming gravity 2, recommends being able to hold a full back lever, adv tuck planche on rings, strap HSPU on rings, a stalder press or L sit press to handstand, a half lay or one legged front lever, and 75º RTO dips. All that, to make sure that your joints are conditioned for the iron cross.
Resistance Bands. Crossrope Jump Ropes. Rings. Full gym right there
Tom youre looking so FUCKING AWESOME , so proud of you man !!
Love ring training staple for me! Hang them from a tree local to me and it turns into a playground for the local kids in between sets 😂
Are you a lone man in a park?
Love the bromance that you guys have with Magnus and Anton 😁
I dig this channel. Love the interdisciplinary challenges like this one.
Tom, I've recently had hip surgery, I was out for some time but it really taught me how much I love fitness, and when I was able to start training again I ended up building a few workouts (a strength one - flexibility on, etc) for me to get strong and fit with and I have shared it with some friends but I'd love to share it with you and get your feedback on it, Its a private video and I'm not clout chasing or whatever its called I just want to share it with someone who would take it seriously, someone I look up to and enjoy to watch, it's a calisthenic base workout to get fit before you start to branch off and specialize in moves like planche, lever and so on. I've been doing it for a month and a half now and my abilities have skyrocketed, my front lever went from 8.6 seconds to 19.3 and I got my first ever handstand pushup without the wall! I plan on doing this workout for another 2 months before I start to specialize in the skill I want to learn and or get better at. Love ur videos!
So would like to see a collab with Nile Wilson and Juji and Tom
i relate to you, Tom. was also a goal keeper and my right shoulder is dicked. Currently dont have full range of motion with it and it tends to pop and grind all the time.
I would really like it to see you do a 2k test with rowing
I had my Bluetooth turned on and juju was just staring dead in my eyes with no sound
I've bought a pair of rings because of you guys! I've been loving it so far! Thanks a lot Juji & Tom, keep up the good work!
Got my first set of rings the other day. Still waiting for them to arrive but hoping to try them out as kinda like a overload/hypertrophy pet at the end of my workouts and see how I progress with them! Never even considered them in the 10+ years I’ve been training! You all got me excited for them!
@11:40 Tom’s Magnus impression sounds spot on like Anton haha
Love the music in the throwback vids
that shirt with black and white cat is dope Tom
I love you guys and Magnus videos brought me to your channel. Stay strong :)
Been using rings since the beginning of covid closing things. Training lowerbody with kettlebells. Upperbody is rocking though.
I see that Tom & Juji are in the Christmas spirit, giving free content to smaller channels
It's pretty cool Juji is always repping other brands
Thanks for the ring stretching ideas. My thrashed shoulders appreciate the help
Juji and tom please do tutorials on how to do trickimg as you call it i have allways wanted to learn stuff like that but have no idea where to start i love your guys vids you two are a great combo
Always motivational ☺️ Got to keep up on my own journey
My home gym is basically a door frame pull up bar with rings on them.Arguably the best home setup if you lack space
Tom looks so much better now. Healthy. 💪🏼
I'm amazed at how big yet functional JUJI is. Hes amazing.
Damn Tom's physique looking really good. I dropped 100 lbs myself over the past year and Tom doing a photo shoot/physique show is motivating me to keep pushing. All the best 👍👍
No one:
Juji: doing side chest on rings
Tom is really getting jacked af, quality progress I am always impressed
I knew from the other vid talking about having a special guest come, it would be magnus
at 11:26 Tom looks like a good villain cast for a movie role.
Magnus actually did this back when he did tried gymnastics!
