I get told the same thing with me being nearly 40 and am still in a size where I can shop in the kid's clothing section, because they fit and are cheaper, and being 5'8" on top of it.
I've been genuinely active since I was a kid. From sports, skateboarding, rollerblading and rising my bicycle with the family to the park. As a teen I was working on farm, horseback riding, walking 4 miles total daily to and from my friend's house and working as a clean up crew on a construction site. Older now and still have an active job where I'm walking on average 5 miles a day then still hit the treadmill for a casual 30 minute walk on full incline 'after' work. My days off I'm still walking, doing various Tabata workouts and Zumba and lifting weights.
I get the envy comments, but I wasn't born this way. Just stayed active.

Staying active continuously is your base key. Everything else comes with pushing passed your boundaries.
Going hardcore also doesn't mean how much you can run per day or lift. Going hardcore is how many years you can keep doing it.
Juji is hardcore simply for the fact he's been doing this straight for 20 years.

7.5 years ago after banging through press ups, I was at a sort of a old school gym and I saw these chest flys (the second machine used) and I was really excited to try it out. I also did dumbell flys on the bench with my elbows bent about a 60 degree angle. Had a decent record for bench press. It really helped with the pectoral development. I have yet to hit the gym again but have been focusing on bodyweight workouts and flexibility for the past few months. Good to know that most of what I did back then was not wrong haha. Now I can further improve on these when I am back in the gym.

I have a pet theory that relative limb length and limb dominance are correlated. For example, Juji's chest is underdeveloped and he's also mentioned his long relative wingspan (76-77in?), whereas Tom's more typical frame (arm length, in particular) lends itself to chest development more easily. I'm just over 6' tall with a 76 inch wingspan and I definitely suffer from limb dominance and have trouble getting my chest up.

My chest(it was a weakpoint) started growing when I focused on the mind muscle connection. When I was doing bench press I used to feel it more in my shoulders despite having a good form. Then I've set a goal to improve my connection with the muscle on the bench press and the more I was feeling it, the better I got with connecting with my chest and it started growing. So yeah my tip is to focus on mind muscle connection.

Benchpress is fantastic for building chest, but it has to be done correctly. First you have to figure out which grip width you can contract your chest the most with. For me it's closer grip, since I'm shoulder dominant. Therefor doing more tricep benching helped me greatly. I understand that being "not natural" (not accusing anyone) it's hard to overcome the insane shoulder growth response and it's hard to remove the shoulders from any benchpressing exercise but it can be done.
My second point is volume and intensity. I could never grow my chest doing insane amount of reps in the presses. I always have to keep the reps in between 3-5 then do higher reps with accessories. I never go to failure with chest except during cable flies.
