"You're a sovereign citizen? So... you're here on my land, with me and my dogs... and you're not under the protection of law, courts, police, and so on..?"
I never understand why Sovereign Citizens do not want to acknowledge the US Constitution or laws, but they want to use their Constitutional rights when it suits them.
The only way they get to be sovereign is to have 2 countries in the UN recognize them, but then they better build a hospital in their new tiny kingdom.
They don’t understand that living in a society means having both rights and responsibilities. Unfortunately there are far too many people (not just SovCits) who can’t grasp that.
Those dogs in Story 3 are so well trained! The fact they could rip a Coyote in half yet are so perfectly in control that they can herd trespassers back to the owner to be escorted off the premises and that the dog merely pinned that guy rather than biting him make them very good doggos. They know their teeth are weapons and not only know when to use them but more importantly are well trained enough to know when not to use them. Such good doggos!
The last one... intentionally excluding the owner from a party being thrown on the property they inherited... Yea, they deserved to be kicked out by the police for that.
And had the nerve to claim it's because OP was no longer part of the family [due to the husbands death] Then if that's the case, they're just breaking into a strangers property
My parents live in the woods and some new neighbors moved in next door. They were afraid to approach my parents as they have a lot of no trespassing signs. My parents finally met them one day at the mailbox and explained they have the signs because people drive onto our property all the time trying to find hiking trails or out of curiosity. They've even had distant neighbors ride their horses through their property. Within a month of them moving in the new neighbors had a gate installed, large no trespassing signs, and a large sign that read no horses private land. I've never understood the absolute audacity to drive onto a private piece of property to look around/ try and hike or ride horses but it happens.
The Lake House story. I would've called & reported a break in at my lake house, just to be petty. I hope Op gets cameras & an alarm system. Also, change the locks.
Story 2 - Capybaras may be considered ’gentle giants’ but like many other animals that many have thought as ‘harmless dumb animals’ they will attack when provoked or feel threatened, especially when their little ones are in the picture.
If you can’t depend upon a normal human being not to get inexplicably triggered and attacked, you can’t trust a wild animal not to do the same no matter how tamed. Sometimes even the gentle family dog gets a burr up its ass and attacks.
When Op's husband was alive use of the property by them was granted because of his relationship to OP. I guess the parents were stupid enough to believe (even though the parents and OP don't get along) that this would automatically continue after his death. They are dumb entitled people.
Note how the dad in the third story had calmed down AND apologized. It's truly amazing how a cattle dog can make a hotheaded city slicker as gentle as a lamb.
I am amused reading this, mostly because to me, a "cattle dog" is a small/medium sized, short haired dog that herds cattle and comes in red or blue colors. Also known as a Red Heeler/Blue Heeler. Maremmas are 150+lb, white haired giant dogs that protect the livestock. Changing out the dog in the story was very amusing in my head!
Thought it might be a cattle dog. My daughter and son in law have one and she herds all the kids into one spot and keeps them there. Funny watching the kids tremble, although the dog is really a pussycat! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
Would not be surprised if the wife was the one who decided the actual public beach was ‘too full’ and egged her husband on to find a more exclusive spot for their dip. Then she decides it’s up to her husband to get her way when they are told to get off the private property they just trespassed on.
Last story: I applaud OP for doing what she did! 👏 Her MIL's attitude is appalling, but if she has nothing to do with the family, then why are they partying in a stranger's house, without permission from the owner? They're lucky they didn't wind up in jail for trespassing!
Story 2 - I hope OP installed some security cameras around her property incase that moron tries to take her to court, just so OP could show not only of the frequent trespassing on her property but also the embarrassing footage of the incident.
@@gorilladisco9108 ive seen that you can farm leather, fat, and oil from them. i have my suspicions that op doesnt farm any of these, though, judging from how they write about them
A certain "Jackass Doherty" and his "bodyguard" come to mind for clout chasers, ya know, the one that crashed his McLaren, his "friend" is literally bleeding from his head, and the guy tells him to film him, and that's only a recent-ish thing, that's not even mentioning other stuff he's done
That last story, THE AUDACITY. You're no longer a part of our family, so u can no longer attend family events, but we're still gonna use ur homes for these events. Not only was OP NTA, she's better than me, bc I would've had them trespassed after the 1st txt saying they were in her house. It's bad enough that she was snubbed by the family, but way worse that the BIL whom she genuinely thought was her friend not only snubbed her as well, all while she's still grieving the loss of her husband, had the nerve to get angry at her over something that was his own fault. So he basically said to her that on top of losing her husband she's now lost a friend as well. All of their actions were beyond appalling, but to be doing all of this in HER house is on a whole other level. I mean the absolute gall, they either have no tact, common sense whatsoever or they have a huge pair or both. SMH. I feel so bad for OP
Highly recommend strong gate hinges, tough gate latches & gate locks for every single gate into your yard. It’s worked for us like a charm. Planting thorny bushes in areas trespassers favorite access points. And, calling police for any trespassers big or small, complete with security footage from all of your many security cameras on each side of the house from multiple angles. Ring has security lights with cameras, highly recommended. Also, solar lights in sunny areas with no electricity access, battery-operated security lights in dark corners are great deterrents, & wildlife cameras for side & back heavily treed areas. Important to protect your property from a-holes with no boundaries who think your property is their funhouse.
It's sad that people have to go to such measures nowadays, because of entitled People! Like I wish I had a house&property of my own, but it would be far away from the city, so that not a lot of neighbors would be there... 😂
The first story: another case of an entitled parent who thinks they can do whatever the hell they want solely because they made the life choice of having children. Parents, like Breanne, have no respect for boundaries, zero regard for the word no and nothing resembling a sense of accountability. Before anyone says I'm being too harsh on a seemingly single mom (there was no mention of a father in the story), save it. I think the type of person Breanne is tells me everything I need to know why there's no husband or father figure in her or those children's lives. He probably left to save himself. Even worse, moms like Breanne, pass all of these negative qualities onto their children. Mostly because they don't understand but also don't care how their actions affect others. Intentionally trespassing and thinking it's okay all because “Mommy said so?” I don't think so. The fact that they vandalized the neighbor doctor's truck only shows how horrible they are. Mark my words, these kids are going to get worse as they get older. I used to know someone who let her son do as he wished as long as he wasn't bothering her. By age four he was a holy terror, by the time he was an adolescent, he was a total nightmare and by the time he was midway through his teens, he was an unbearable monster. She used to whine to anyone who would listen, usually me, all the time out loud wondering “what went wrong.” I did not hold back. She asked me if I had any sympathy. I told her I didn't as I had warned her for years that she wasn't doing her son any favors by letting him think he was bulletproof and could waltz through life without anything resembling consequences for his actions. I also told her that seeing what she went through with both of her kids (she also had an older daughter from her first marriage whom she totally neglected in favor of her son), had reaffirmed every reason for why I was adamantly child-free. She cursed me out up and down then when she ran out of breath, I told her she had once again proved my point. We're not friends anymore. I shudder to think what her son is now like as a late 20-something adult. I can only suspect that he is now an overgrown man child, with no job, no life skills and nothing resembling a sense of pride who expects the world to bend over backwards for him while giving him everything he wants in life through no effort on his part. In other words, I strongly suspect he turned out just like his mother.
If Breanne's baby daddy really "left to save himself," he should have taken all his kids with him, because if he, as a grown adult, couldn't handle the situation, how are kids supposed to handle it? But I'm not convinced Breanne's baby daddies even know those kids exist.
while farmers in south america get more leeway about gun ownership, it's not like in the US where you can go Rambo shooting whoever shows up at your land. also, by the looks of it, that story takes place in the US
Yes in South America it's acceptable for a pretty much everybody to have a gun. It used to be that way in America but thanks to whiny liberals it isn't that way anymore. Even though radio spying intelligence from world war II told us that a gun behind every blade of grass is the only reason the Japanese didn't do a ground attack on america. They had a Japanese submarine with over 2000 soldiers stationed right outside San francisco. Our spies who picked up their radio signal heard them radio back home and ask how do you invade a country where there's literally a gun behind every blade of grass? So they were told to abort the mission and come home. I wish liberals had never gotten involved with gun laws, if they hadn't, who knows, we might have prevented 9/11. There might have been somebody on that plane with a carry piece on them who could have taken out the terrorists
Parents that let their children tresspass should never be surprised when the police show up to arrest their brats when they're old enough to go to jail.
First story: The thing to do with a family like that is to just start calling the cops to come trespass the kids. Second Story: The way to handle the trespassers is to put up a sign that says "Pre-booked Appointments only. $500 per 10 minutes of time with the Capybaras" Then have a phone number they can call, and have it go straight to a voicemail that says that at this time there are no open appointments and to please respect this and not trespass on the property. This way when someone comes into the property you can also have them charged with theft of service and charge them the $500 for 10 minutes, which would be a HUGE for the 24 hour guy when you consider that he was probably there for at least an hour. Also, get a security camera. Last story: OP is in the right. Even the MIL said it that OP now has nothing to do with the family, so why would OP allow them to use the lake house then? And if the situation was reversed we all know that MIL would do just as OP did, as would any of the other people at that party.
Do not get me started on Sovereign citizens. I have heard enough horror stories about them from a friend who is a district attorney. He tells me that they think they're so smart and he calls them Internet lawyers who search the Internet for legal loopholes so they can break the law. But he told me that there are no legal loopholes for trespassing on someone else's property. He says he's seen enough of these jokers getting taken to court for trespassing and they are so smug and full of themselves until the judge sides with the owner of the property they trespassed on. One man in his made a fool of himself when he lost he got arrested for content of court and his own parents left him in jail since he didn't have the money to pay his fines. He didn't learn his lesson though and kept trespassing on others property
If I have learned anything from these kinds of stories, it's if you have a pool, trampoline, lake house, beach property, boat, etc., people are going to try and use them without your permission.
When I was a kid (1970s), my dad built a nice swing-set/jungle gym combo in our fenced & gated backyard. My sister & I were used to kids who didn't even like us coming over & trying to play with us just so they could play on the fun stuff in our yard. A couple times when my sister & I weren't home, my mum saw kids who had climbed over our fence & were playing on our equipment; back in that time, having ones property set up with CCTV was on a completely other level & would have been ridiculous for an ordinary suburban backyard. My mum basically led those kids back to their homes & told their parents that she was putting them on notice that our family weren't liable for anything that happened to kids who were playing in our yard without our family's permission. It only happened a couple times. My tiny mum can be a badass when she has to be.
Story 1: Sorry, Breanne. That's not called "childhood". Its real name is "vandalism". This is one reason Karens shouldn't be allowed to have neighbors!
10:18 The problem with saying you can do anything because you're a sovereign citizen, is the fact that there's no way to legally become one officially since you're in a country where anarchy is a just a concept, and only in an anarchist country is it possible to legitimately be a sovereign citizen.
I know, right? I would love to tour a Capybara farm, but if this is what the farmers have to put up with, I can understand why they might not want to deal with selling tours to the public. SMH.
Never apply a pesticide on someone else’s property. Why? The pesticide label is a legal document under FIFRA. Buying a household use pesticide only authorized you to use it on your property. To use it on someone else’s property requires a pesticide applicator’s license which includes a test on the laws, environmental conditions, etc. Then comes liability to misuse of the product. As of, spraying a herbicide that states not to be used around animals in an area where dogs play, etc.
The biggest fail that the US Gov has done when it comes to the law. If someone breaks in to your home or trespasses and gets hurt, it is the HOME OWNER NOT THE POS CRIMINAL is liable for injuries?!?!!!!! How stoopid
Story #1 - I can absolutely believe that sort of behaviour. I live in a townhouse complex and had neighbours who told their kids to kick their soccer ball at the back of my hosue (they were particularly adept at hitting mu screen door), pound on the walls in the early morning hours on weekends, and specifically told them they didn't have to listen to us when we told them to stop. We had the last laugh, after they cut down the privacy hedge between our two units, claiming that they were going to build a fence (spoiler: they never did). They got evicted. Don't screw with a shared stuff on a property that you are RENTING.
Story 2 - People are really stupid around animals. Someone decided that stealing our towns college mascot was going to be a funny prank. Which works if your mascot is like a badger...not a buffalo...which proceeded to try to trample them. It was a private ranch that keep it with the herd between games. The survivors were prosicuted.
I wouldn't recommend trying to steal a badger, either. Regular badgers aren't quite as psychotic as honey badgers, but they're still more than capable of wrecking some fool.
Pool story: Good call upgrading the security because of attractive nuisance laws. Basically the law saying “You can’t have nice things because Little Timmy is going to get hurt on it because Billy Bob and Jo Rita can’t be bothered to parent him. Now pay for little Timmy’s hospital bill/funeral and Jo Rita’s pain and suffering at the loss of her child that Billy Bob failed to watch because he was on his 10th beer for the hour.”
Story 5: If OP no longer has anything to do with them, like former MIL said, then by her own admission neither does that lake house which OP still owns. It's And no, it does not act as some inheritance to the family upon the husband's passing, especially if there is no document that OP could agree to as a part owner. So yeah, they didn't just trespass on someone else's property, but disrespected their own late son/brother in the process. Good luck defending that.
People with guardian livestock dogs are protecting their land. If you're a trespasser, the dog will see you as such and perform accordingly. Do not try this infiltration as it is not advantation to your health
I wrote my initials in the fresh concrete of a newly poured driveway when I was a kid. WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE OWNER! It was a friend's house and his dad was standing right there and said, "sure, you can put your initials in it." My friend and I both did it. I can't imagine doing something like that without permission of the property owner. 🙄
Listening to this while driving In Illinois in winter is perfect for warming up with anger and satisfaction at people getting consequences for their stupidity
Always surprised with cases of "my mom said that I can do things on your property" that the OPs don't at least try to explain "with other peoples' property, your mom can't give permission unless other person does so first" or just generally get the kids to question the parents' authority.
The people trespassing on the capybara farm and the ranch are lucky they were not in a state that supports castle doctrine. In Wyoming people here are know for defending their property. Just look at the Johnson Country War and the Wyoming Range War. Mentality hasn't changed much.
Story 2: Do you mean wrestle as in that inappropriate act? 😮 I first thought wrestle as in playing because i was just listening but he lost part of his genitals? What the heck is going through peoples minds to do that to an animal? Like how deranged do you have to be to do that🤐
Final Story - OP is Absolutely NTA! Honestly she handled that perfectly. If OP’s not considered ‘Family’ to the In-Laws, then why the hell should she allow them to use her Family Lake House that SHE and her BROTHER own?
Just SMH. This mom thought her son must have thought their son owned the lake houses, not OP? That's one toxic in-laws. I have a friend who was kicked out of the house she owned when her husband died. The MIL thought the property belonged to her son and when she found out she wasn't getting the property she forged her son's signature on a deed to the property and the house. She waited till my friend went on vacation and packed up my DIL and granddaughters stuff and sold the property out for under them. She's still in prison and my friend made a deal with the people who bought the property after the MIL paid them back for the property and they paid my friend for everything. They recently found out where all the family photos and his clothes went too. It was so awful for her to go through this after losing her husband and the father of her daughter.
Story 4 - This was interesting. Neighbors who trespass into other neighbors yards actually cooperated with OP and her husband’s changes without causing a big fuss.
Concrete Story: This is why Security Cameras are a Necessity, not an Option! If you own your home, PUT THEM IN!!!, if you Rent your home, then screw the cameras to blocks of wood and set them in the windows so you still have the benefit of Security Cameras but don't have to but holes in the outside walls... If I was OP, I'd be calling both the Police and CPS to report the Brats for their constant Trespassing and Harassment...
If I was the capybara farmer, I would definitely put up Ring cameras and post "No Trespassing" signs ALL OVER the property. Plus a high interior fence and an electrified outer fence.
I lived for several decades in Latin America. The people generally seem incredibly entitled, and truly unaware they are doing wrong. One gets accustomed to it. An example: dad sitting next to 3 or 4 year old daughter who using my ANTIQUE family chair as a mini trampoline with leather shoes !!! Dad was insuring child didn't fall on the floor. I was so upset I said nada and walked out of the room. Last time they were invited to my home. They asked several family members why we had banned them. I let them believe I was just a nasty American.
#5 - OP is NTA. Not by a million miles! If the youngest brother thinks OP is in the wrong, why didn't he make sure she was there for his big celebration, knowing full well that SHE was the owner of both houses? Yeah, they can all go pound sand and OP needs to get the neighbor a bottle of their favorite adult beverage, change the locks on everything, and request the neighbor keep an eye out for future trespassers - be they her 'former' family or anyone else.
I bet the old doctor at the end of the first story threatened her with children services for neglect because what she was doing telling the kids to jump on other people's belongings is endangering them and being a doctor has more power then just ordinary home body with the services.
Or you know... just do exactly what they actually did. 🤷♂ If you have no actual proof that something has happened, there is no activity to "cease". A cease and desist letter out of the blue would make no sense.
"Living like a capybara for 24 hours" could be a viral video, if it's just a bunch of people who know nothing about the cute animals, prancing around disguised as them, lol.
Story 1: “they asked us if they could put their names in our concrete. after telling them no i went inside and left them alone with the wet concrete, when i came out they were writting their names in it” …Op what did you THINK was going to happen here…?
Story 1: The mother need to be accountable for the actions of her kids. The next person she encounters might not be so forgiving as OP. Story 2: If somebody breaks the law all they shouldn't have any grounds to sue should it all go south. I'm sure OP could sue for causing distress to his animals. Story 3: That was beyond stupid. Fortunately, OP was able to control his dogs.
Story 1: This is next level entitlement. To tell children who aren’t even your; BTW, to go sign someone else sidewalk with their names. Seriously, Breanne, if you want to make a memory for you children, go to an artist studio and request that the children cast their hands in clay and then have the fired. I wasn’t able to cast my name in concrete, as weren’t that affluent. But while in elementary school I had my right hand cast in clay and fired, it still makes me smile with that memory. Also to Breanne, if you want your children to cast their hands in cement? Why don’t you incur the cost selfish witch!
I don't know the gun laws in your country but can't this guy post No Trespassing, Violators will be shot signs and then be legally within their rights to shoot at Trespassers? Or they can be prosecuted at least for trespassing? These idiots could end up injuring or killing the capybaras! How anyone could claim to love animals and then causing them fear and distress is despicable. Maybe this guy should see about cameras around his property?
Story 1: perfect opportunity for OP to tell Breanne that her children can either leave her property in peace or in pieces, her choice. Story 5: NTA, OP is the literal owner of the house, she had every right to BTFO those people from her property
Story one... Is vandalism and destruction of property. And cuz their children children don't have to pay for it the parents do, the legal guardians of those children. Wouldn't you love to be paying to have a driveway ripped up and repoured
Last Story: Op…respectfully you need to grow a spine. “oh my toxic in laws are using my property for a party i wasnt invited to, thats fine though” No…no it is not fine. Cut contact with these awful people…
For the last video. Not the A**hole. The family was in the wrong to assume that they could use the property without permission, since they were previously related through marriage. I don't have anything to do with my Ex-wife's family after our divorce. Good for OP taking the corrective action with the Sheriff's Dept.
Not only that, he isn’t even good at the usual manifesto. Most of the SC 💩 comes from entitlement around government control of highways and compliance. Never heard a SC pull that stunt on private property. That is a bad reason to get yourself either a load of rock salt in your ass or worse, lead.
Story 2: I'd ask to watch the Capybaras and observe them from a safe distance so as to not disturb them. Story 5: 100% NTA, the Mother-in-law, on the other hand, is the asshole. Using OP's property and not inviting OP.
In the first one op should have rounded up a bunch of neighbors. Then had them paint their names on the woman's driveway. Then when the woman got mad op should say what haven't you left your mark anywhere?
Story 2 - needs a piranha-filled moat around your farm. If they're not suited for your climate, try mutant sea bass. They're quite ill-tempered... Story 3 - ditto Story 4 - see story 3 Story 5 - sorry strangers, this is a _family_ lakehouse...
Let the ex family know that those properties were not part of her husbands' estate and if they want to use them in the future they can book and pay rent for the time. Change the locks and install security cameras. Make sure to have written contracts!
I'm a little conflicted about the second-to-last story. I mean, yes, obviously the neighbors shouldn't have been using the pool without permission, but if they'd already been doing it for years without OP ever noticing, cleaning up after themselves, causing no damage or other issues - I dunno; at that point, I'd say the main issue would be the permission thing. It sounds like these are otherwise fairly nice, reasonable folks, who have functionally proven that they can be trusted to not cause a nuisance - if I were OP, I would've gone over, read them a moderate version of the Riot Act, and then said something like 'from now on, ask first'. But maybe that's just me.
Also, the people that claim to be sovereign citizens don't understand the difference between driving and traveling. So if you're the one operating a motor vehicle, you're classed as driving. However, if you're a passenger in a vehicle, you're classed as traveling.
#2 - OMG! Those sweet little creatures can be very friendly with other animals, and some people -- but they are WILD ANIMALS. Those idiots breaking into OP's property are just as loony as that woman who tried to 'pet a tiger' at a zoo a while back. If I had the funds, I would give OP money to hire a security guard with a dog to patrol his place overnight. And may I just say, as an old person (60+) I am so tired of 'influencers' and content/viral crap and wish they would all just get a damn job!
Storey 4: I would have been little more petty. I would have I installed the security cameras and linked them to my phone. When the next 4th July comes I'd wait until the party is just starting to get into full swing and then call the cops to remove tresspassers on my property.
2nd; IF USA, and you have NO Trespassing signs, The guy who got injured doesn't have a Leg to stand on, also you could sue him for mental distress, and Animal abuse, ETC.. Also most states you can also State that Violators will be shot{i would use BB's}..🤔😅....
Last story: And by "handled things differently" they mean allowing unfettered access to property that isn't theirs without permission to use it. Involving law enforcement was the only right call.
Story 1: I can't friggin understand the entitlement mentality, but then again we were raised to respect people and their property. Kids these days have parents that never hot past toddler mentality.
For the last story. Like the snow fall every year. If you claim there is nothing between them then you can expect to not benefit from what said person has.
Breanne story: Sounds like entitled "free range" parenting to me. Truthfully, had the kids not left my trampoline/yard when I told them to, I'd have had the police involved. Capybara story: I'd be holding these idiots with my 12-gauge until the police arrived, then I'd press every charge possible. "Nature preserve" story: At the very least I would have made note of his car make/model/color and license plate and reported the idiot to the police. Pool story: Personally, I'd very pointedly add some "NO TRESPASSING" signs around your property. I'd make sure the new cameras have microphones and speakers on them so you can tell them to leave or you'll be calling the police. Nice way your husband had of telling them to stay the hell out of your pool without actually accusing them of using your pool. Well done. Lake houses story: Definitely NTA! OP, if you have nothing to do with the family anymore, then THEY have no right to use YOUR property. I'm a bit sorry for the younger brother, but MIL needs to learn a few lessons. IMO, the only thing you could have done differently would have been to let her walk all over you. Change the locks/codes and get some cameras installed and point blank tell them they CANNOT use your property without your explicit written permission, provided you ever intend for them to use it again.
Years ago, when I was young, my family owned a lot with two fully built secondary homes and a large pool between them. Usually, every weekend, all four brothers and four sisters, along with our grandparents from our mother's side, go there from Friday night until late Sunday or early Monday. So it has many bedrooms and a lot of places to have fun. You had a minimum of 25 to 30 people with all of us kids included. One summer 2 cousins and I decided to go fishing in the river, we caught some fish and decided to put them in the pool. We did not know that one of our uncles and his wife always enjoyed swimming very early before everyone was up and running. They did it naked which no one knew about. Our aunt got in the pool first and one large fish swam between her legs. She starts screaming pushing her husband out of the way. So he falls in the pool and realizes what is in the pool he also screams loudly, now of course, this is getting every one of us awake hearing them scream most of us in pyjamas or bathrobes about 5:30 AM, our aunt still screaming getting back in the house along her husband following her. With everyone either laughing at them, and not all pretty sure what was wrong. After this, they never went swimming naked in the pool even years later.
Looks like, as shown in Stories 2 and 3, having some sort of body of water or pool inside someone's property is somewhat of a curse, as it attract malevolent spirits--I mean, karens and SovSh*ts. Story 5: "She's not invited because has nothing to do with the family now?" Then, Karen, you lost the right to use those houses since that person WHO OWNS THOSE PROPERTIES have "nothing to do with your family now." The nerve (but, then, with karens, I'm not surprised).
I think the only reason you don't see this crap with other live stock is because capybaras don't look dangerous. Cows, goats, pigs and horses will all run you over. Chickens, geese and ducks will bite. Farmer needs to get dogs and security cameras to protect her animals.
Last story: NTA! If the parents in law were drunk enough and aggressive enough to pick a fight with the cops, OP going up and politely asking them to leave was not likely to work.
I’ve always been intrigued by capybaras. I’ve never seen one in person but always thought they were cool giant guinea pigs.(When I first got interested in them I was 4 and had a pet guinea pig.) So many people never care that some animals are shy and/or nervous about strangers, excessive noise, sudden movements or unexpected sounds and just aggravate the animals until some idiot gets hurt, and then they want the animal put down, when they’re the one that actually deserves it.
"You're a sovereign citizen? So... you're here on my land, with me and my dogs... and you're not under the protection of law, courts, police, and so on..?"
That was also the first thing I thought of. 'So no-one is going to make an issue of it when I set my dogs on you? Good to know!'
“0h so you are a free man on my land. I guess I can protect it anyway I see fit. 😈”
Add evil laugh.
I swear dark fluff did a video with this story awhile back

Then if that's the case, they're just breaking into a strangers property
I can’t imagine sneaking onto someone else’s property and using it (pool, lake house) w/o permission. What the hell is wrong with these people?
It's the entitlement, clearly 😂
They need arrested more often. 🤨
They never had anyone tell them no as a child, and were never beaten for their misdeeds.
@@The_Forge_Master
You do not have to beat people up to get them to not be little sh!theads.
"Did that hurt?...When all that stupid just came out of your mouth." Best. Answer. Ever.
Well, at least the Dad was apologetic and didn't try to escalate.
Anyone else who ownes an acher of land would've been less forgiving, like "I've desided to paint my patio red today" less forgiving
The Lake House story. I would've called & reported a break in at my lake house, just to be petty. I hope Op gets cameras & an alarm system. Also, change the locks.
Yep. This is what I would have done. But then MIL would have lied and said that they had permission... So being present with paperwork was good!
Story 2 - Capybaras may be considered ’gentle giants’ but like many other animals that many have thought as ‘harmless dumb animals’ they will attack when provoked or feel threatened, especially when their little ones are in the picture.
I once saw a capy claw some guy in water for some reason - gnarly results. That's when I knew they weren't always as chill as they are viewed
Glad that dude lost part of his genitals. These are the kind of people that do not need to reproduce
If you can’t depend upon a normal human being not to get inexplicably triggered and attacked, you can’t trust a wild animal not to do the same no matter how tamed. Sometimes even the gentle family dog gets a burr up its ass and attacks.
That dude never watched footage of capybara fought jaguar. 😅
Aren't capybara raised for their meat? Which would make them livestock. There are extra penalties for messing with livestock.
Story 5: Who owns the lake houses? OP. Like, if they're going to hold a party there at least ask OP first, don't lie. It's on them
When Op's husband was alive use of the property by them was granted because of his relationship to OP. I guess the parents were stupid enough to believe (even though the parents and OP don't get along) that this would automatically continue after his death. They are dumb entitled people.
OP was much nicer than my family would have been 😆😆
Last story- how did the in-laws have access to the houses? did I miss something or did OP give them keys to the properties?
@@monteverdi1567 Probably copied them when they were given for an earlier event when OP’s husband was alive. Returned the original kept the copies.
@@TallCFarms Great Pyrenees are large dogs that are amazing with all kinds of animals.
Sounds like that dad had his life flash before his eyes when the consequences of his entitled behavior was drooling on his face 12:00
Last story: I applaud OP for doing what she did! 👏 Her MIL's attitude is appalling, but if she has nothing to do with the family, then why are they partying in a stranger's house, without permission from the owner? They're lucky they didn't wind up in jail for trespassing!
I bet they thought the property belonged to their dead son and "by rights" now belonged to them.
@trilbynhiss I bet they did! Well, too bad for them; they'll be missing out on a great summer place. Consequences!
Story 2 - I hope OP installed some security cameras around her property incase that moron tries to take her to court, just so OP could show not only of the frequent trespassing on her property but also the embarrassing footage of the incident.
She could start her own channel with all the dumb footage of those idiots!😂
I wonder, why would someone farm capybara? Fur? Meat? Milk?
@@gorilladisco9108 I have no idea. I didn’t even know that you could farm these animals.
@@gorilladisco9108 ive seen that you can farm leather, fat, and oil from them. i have my suspicions that op doesnt farm any of these, though, judging from how they write about them
5:00 LEAVE THE HAPPY CAPPIES ALONE! They did NOTHING to you!
Story 2: Clout Chasers don't think the rules apply to them. They just do stuff because it gets them views
@@brendanboomhour7606 don't forget that Johnny Somali asshole
S1 - If you’re going to do crime, make sure it doesn’t involve writing your actual names into permanent concrete.
Okay, I know nothing bout South American laws but...can't the Capybara farmer get a gun for defense and put a sign saying "Trespassers will be shot"?
Most countries other than the US and a couple of others don't think very highly of that kind of thing,
South Americans can have guns tho, most have a lot of them
while farmers in south america get more leeway about gun ownership, it's not like in the US where you can go Rambo shooting whoever shows up at your land.
also, by the looks of it, that story takes place in the US
I'm not sure where in South America OP is from, but gun laws in Brazil for example are quite extrict.
Which would most likely happen and they will say "my angels couldn't do something like that!" Denying all crimes that their children committed
This is one reason Karens shouldn't be allowed to have neighbors!
or children!
10:18
The problem with saying you can do anything because you're a sovereign citizen, is the fact that there's no way to legally become one officially since you're in a country where anarchy is a just a concept, and only in an anarchist country is it possible to legitimately be a sovereign citizen.
OP should pay $5 to every kid available to ride bikes and be loud in Breane's front yard. Doc sounds like a good neighbor to have around.
Those poor capybaras
I know, right? I would love to tour a Capybara farm, but if this is what the farmers have to put up with, I can understand why they might not want to deal with selling tours to the public. SMH.
@starrywizdom yeah
The Cappy farmer... I suggest getting a Livestock Guardian dog for your sweet fourleggers.
Story 2: the man suing about his privates getting injured is such a dick move
Badum tss
I see what you did there...
You sir are a legend
Was the buffalo unharmed? I'm sure that the attempted abduction was traumatic in itself.
I wouldn't recommend trying to steal a badger, either. Regular badgers aren't quite as psychotic as honey badgers, but they're still more than capable of wrecking some fool.
The survivors were prosecuted? Did someone die as a result?
@@patriciabronk1786 The same way people don't always survive Yellowstone tourist tossing season. Buffalo aren't gentle or small.
"The survivors were prosecuted" is such a low key flex!
"You're not family anymore, btw we're going to use your land without telling you cause we're family." The crazies in the last one.
Lake House Story: You are definitely not the a-hole if they all broke into your house and had a party. Arrest them all!
If you drive by Fisher, wave towards my Aunt's house, she's on the north side of town.
I first thought wrestle as in playing because i was just listening but he lost part of his genitals?
Yeah it was an AI generated story.....😂😂😂😂😂. Or they weren't from the United States.
Story one I feel bad for op but great on that other neighbor to get the little #@# to stop
story 2: trespasser might be eligible for a Darwin Award.
Do you perhaps mean story 3?
Story 2: you know what they say "clout it also hell of a drug" and that dude was definitely tweeking for attention
OP needs to have a lawyer draft a cease and desist letter to all the neighbors for good measure, then press charges when they trespass.
Or you know... just do exactly what they actually did. 🤷♂
If you have no actual proof that something has happened, there is no activity to "cease".
A cease and desist letter out of the blue would make no sense.
"Living like a capybara for 24 hours" could be a viral video, if it's just a bunch of people who know nothing about the cute animals, prancing around disguised as them, lol.
Story 1: “they asked us if they could put their names in our concrete. after telling them no i went inside and left them alone with the wet concrete, when i came out they were writting their names in it”
…Op what did you THINK was going to happen here…?
It probably wouldn't have been an issue if the mother wasn't a jerk about it. At that point it was just letting karma catching up with her.
Threatening violence can backfire. But in that case, threatening a call to child welfare and following through could be interesting and productive.
Last Story: Op…respectfully you need to grow a spine.
“oh my toxic in laws are using my property for a party i wasnt invited to, thats fine though”
No…no it is not fine.
Last story there is an edit where OP mentioned keys in a hidden lockbox. As she didn't know if they had made keys, she got new locks
As an owner you never are an A***e for removing unauthorized guests from your property.
Story 3: The SovCit Moron line is irritating as hell
Not only that, he isn’t even good at the usual manifesto. Most of the SC 💩 comes from entitlement around government control of highways and compliance. Never heard a SC pull that stunt on private property. That is a bad reason to get yourself either a load of rock salt in your ass or worse, lead.
Final story, I hope OP gets all the locks changed, or they'll be back.
Last Story: Did the in-laws have a key to the property? You might want to change the locks.
Story 3 - ditto
Story 4 - see story 3
Story 5 - sorry strangers, this is a _family_ lakehouse...
Call CPS.
That last story. What a great Way to treat your deceased son's fiance. Shows how much you actually cared about your son. Absolutely disgusting
Let the ex family know that those properties were not part of her husbands' estate and if they want to use them in the future they can book and pay rent for the time. Change the locks and install security cameras. Make sure to have written contracts!
OP would be a fool to rent to them, even with a written contract. It would be far more trouble than any money she would see.
Story 2: set up sign "Trespassers WILL be shot" and follow through on that.
"Sure, kids, you can write your name there." After they leave, I go outside and add "is a [fill in your favorite insult here|" after each name.
Here is an ideea for the kids from the first story, tell them you will give them a candy if they wreck Karen's yard
Some people are clueless
Story 4: I guarantee that the neighbors went to a lawyer and were told they were at fault and could be sued.
Last story: And by "handled things differently" they mean allowing unfettered access to property that isn't theirs without permission to use it. Involving law enforcement was the only right call.
Story 3: Totally happened. Word for word. 100%. No fluff whatsover. This is how human beings act in real life.
I'm gonna be honest when they said the guy was in a capybara costume and had toys. I was thinking of a different kind of toy. 😂😂😂😂
Story 1: I can't friggin understand the entitlement mentality, but then again we were raised to respect people and their property. Kids these days have parents that never hot past toddler mentality.
Lake house party; I'd have given them the benefit of the doubt and told them to just leave.
untill the text... That made the gloves come of!!
1st story--I'd call the cops and have them all arrested for vandalism. Although, the making her mark on Breanne's property sounds good, too.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the lack of drama in story#4.
Story 1 I would call CPS
I’ve always been intrigued by capybaras. I’ve never seen one in person but always thought they were cool giant guinea pigs.(When I first got interested in them I was 4 and had a pet guinea pig.) So many people never care that some animals are shy and/or nervous about strangers, excessive noise, sudden movements or unexpected sounds and just aggravate the animals until some idiot gets hurt, and then they want the animal put down, when they’re the one that actually deserves it.
