There is a lot of creativity in the visual sense beyond Travis Scott's musical talent within hiphop and trap, to the extent that it likely will surprise you!
As a graphic designer myself, I always find it really interesting to see how people take graphic design skills and knowledge, and then apply it in their own niche or industry sector. In doing research, I've realised that Travis Scott is likely one of the most creative and graphic design aware performers in the rap industry. He has a hands on approach in his brand system, the merch designs, album cover designs, and things like the 112 page zine that is mentioned in the video. Also at the end of this video, we look at some fan-made graphic designs to see if they hit the brand identity that Travis has crafted, or if they sink and fail at that respect.

quick question, if I am not able to design a poster that doesn't convey the vibe of Travis Scott does that mean I am not a good designer?
now why I got this question in the first place is that I am not able to imagine such designs that deliver the Travis Scott vibe to the audience who like it that way in the first place and I always fail to design stuff like these but on the other hand I can come up with designs that are clean and minimalistic much comfortably and I get compliments from experienced designers for that. So I don't understand where does that put me as a Graphic Designer?
Also, apologies if my question was too dumb to answer.
It's a function of preference. You will never be satisfied as the creator or artist of a style you don't personally find attractive. It's like a chef using an ingredient he dislikes... if his training or knowledge is deep enough, he can make it work, but he still won't be satisfied with the dish....

Travis is actually a great designer!
I’ve heard of him but I’m not familiar with his music. My question is he a graphic designer or does he have a team who create the look and he OK’s it? On a different note will you be doing a video on Sora AI? It’s not strictly graphic design but it could be an interesting topic.
As mentioned in the video, he often has a team, but he's hands on and manages the art direction
This shows us how unique Travis Scott's designs are that all those talented graphic designers are still unable to fully capture it. I wish he had done a collabo with Adidas because in the 90s this brand was closely associated with hip hop due to Run DMC song My Adidas.

Any brand comes with a team. It's not all up to just one person to design an entire brand when a brand or star sets off through stardom. Im sure he knew nothing about college graphic design & has worked with all who help to create his brand, promote it etc to the day. Just a thought.

dont get me wrong, i love your channel and what you come up with - but this dude is responsible for literal deaths of his fans including kids, and couple houndred serious injuries.
he never took any actual responsibility for that and to add to the injury, he offered "help" via one free month of betterhelp that he himself had monetary gain from... yes, he offered *betterhelp* to families of trampled people.
i just think hes not worthy mentioning or being given a platform, the idea for the video is great, just this rapper in particular is a huge problem. because he needs to be held accountable *somehow* and the least we can do is just deplatform him. but if you do other rappers / artists im all for it.
BTW some of his fans are rabid trolls that love to respond to comments like mine with the dumbest crap and make it seem like someone is a loser for caring about people trampled to death at his concert. i wont respond to these IF they appear and its perfectly fine for travis cultists to present their abysmal level of stupidity here.
