- I raised the caterpillar in a small container.
- The caterpillar will stop eating when it has fully grown, then it will look for a place on the lower surface of a stem or a twig as a spot to pupate.
- Pupation takes approximately 15 hours after the caterpillar hangs its body with a silk pad and a silk girdle.
- The chrysalis stage lasts about 10-12 days to become a butterfly. It depends on environmental factors such as climate.
