    I have also twisted the band up a turn or 3 and added resistance that way as well. I discovered this by trying to keep the bands from slipping up my arms and onto my shoulders. A little ah-ha moment for me. Try it , you might like it !

    James, you are my biggest Inspiration ever since I switched to bands. I have one question though: don‘t you think in presses like these (and also banded push ups) it is more effective to wrap the band around the back and the lead it under your armpits without contact to the arms. You might loose a little bit of stretch in the starting position, but I feel the end contraction more intensly. For if you wrap the band around the upper arms a lot of the press is supoorted simply by the fact that the arm is moving forward and the band is kind a sticking on it. Also by leading the bands under the armpits it gives you the opportunity to put the band even lower around the back and perform more of an incline press if you want to. Just my thoughts. Would be thrilled to hear some feedback of yours.

      Can sit on a chair and wrap the band around it also, this will remove the friction of the band against your body and will mimic a bench press rather well feelings-wise

    Not sure if I'm just doing it wrong but I feel this more i my arms than chest, tried flaring and unflaring the elbows and other still feels like it's hitting triceps more than anything

    I think to use training with these would get you more results definetly. But if you don't have a anchor point to wrap this up and enough space doing the right movements, than these bands are in my opinion useless

      Even dumbbells and barbell training is useless if you don't know what your doing

      Wrong. Truth is it is good to have anchor points for bands in various angles. That could be a simple door anchor. Personally I have wall bars which work Great. But also you can train perfectly every muscle Group with unanchored excercises like rows, presses (as shown here), curls, squats etc. So it is just wrong to say bands would be useless without anchor points.
