Pure magic. This game was awesome in every segment. After getting real good at it while playing the story mode (in a racing game yes!) the most fun was beating the clock dude. It was actually challenging.
this was one of my favorite games solo and with friends and i had all the classics. I regret leaving my n64 and gamecube collection in my old house when we moved idk what i was thinking only taking the xbox. I guess i was just young and dumb idk smh

Til this day I will never understand why Nintendo never made a sequel to this awesome game.
They did it was called donkey Kong racing for the GameCube but it was cancelled. There was a tease of a sequel in this games ending “To be continued…”

This was a literal fever dream.
The structure of the game is great, but the driving itself not so much. I prefer by far Wacky Races on the Dreamcast.
Wait, how did you save your progress? I used a controller pak and it failed.
There should be an option to save in the menu, and that saves onto the game itself. I don't think a controller pak is required for this game.
