I really liked the first one. The analogue mode.. Very cool .. All of them are great if you ask me! Love that DGR brother! I love the Gold DGT SE too! Very cool guitars. Probably my favorite PRS right now, except maybe the Swamp ash SE.. I dig that guitar too and it has the HSH pickups I like really well.. Plus, swamp ash is so cool! Very cool demo brother.. Very cool delay.. It sounds great especially for presets.. Most companies have shitty presets and you have to tweak a lot to get them where you want.. This one sounded great right off!
I have the Collider, that has (some) of the Nemesis delays (and ADT). All the delays are really great, the one I keep coming back to play around with is the Oil Can. Reverse delay is my least used mode, but it’s nice to know it’s there as a “special” effect.

Ah yeah the Dual delay and digital did it for me, nice work Leon. I'm still deep dive with the volante and the Halo and utilizing a Wetter box between them running in stereo off the rack. The diffusion creation is mind blowing! Along with my stereo rig I've also mic'd it up to my PA simply glorious.
Hey Leon! Oil Can and Binson Drum Echo modes are available via the editor on the previous Nemesis-are these modes updated on the ADT version, or did they just add them to the physical selector?
Shifter full mix wet with time all the way down to have a faux octaver is loads of fun! Reverse with fast time and medium high repeats can be musical with sustained chords (sort of reverse tremolo cascading sound)
love that pedal.sold it when i‘ve bought my fm3 2 years ago but it‘s still one of the best (multi) delay pedals out there.especially the editor is amazing…i wish meris could adapt that for the lvx. do you put that pedal through the fx loop or is it on front of your axe fx?
@@LeonTodd nice.i put all my (stereo) pedals (mercury7, lvx) on front of my fm3 , like i would do with a real amp.also tried to put them in the fx loop to get a better stereo (feel) sound out of them, but it was quite dissapointing for me because i had to tweek alot more to get a desireable sound…so i put it back on front😅

Yeah, hold one of the four little red buttons (between the foot switches) down and it saves the setting. It also has a function to help re-discover the knob positions for any preset - just turn the knobs slowly and the LED flashes when you are at the correct position. Another hidden feature is you can save 8 presets (two per button) if you go into the neuro app and toggle the appropriate setting. (…or you can save 128 presets with the SA midi adapter).
😂😂 so it's every delay you could almost ever need. Some of these high end delays you've been testing are soooo plentiful. Company's are definitely catering for everyone.
Didn’t see this coming. I sold my Nemesis because of the way it affected the dry guitar tone, and I wasn’t too impressed with the tape modes. I can get most of these sounds from my Axe FX III (mostly thanks to your block library 😊). But it’s good they issued an updated version!
@@LeonToddadt is a myth, Source Audio tried numerous times to explain why absence of adt is not an issue especially in their case: with high quality ad/da convertors. It is very sad that users prefer to believe in mythology rather than expert opinion from experienced engineers. Just a note: Fractal has no adt also. I wonder how people are not concerned about “fractal influencing their core guitar tone” same as any other multi-effects unit. It is just weird gear-youtube lack of education and high conservatism among guitarists eg Eventide h9 has no adt and is highly praised. Same as many others delay/reverb pedals where manufacturers simply do not disclose any info about adt.
@@alexei_u whether it was down to lack of adt or something else, the pedal definitely affected the tone when switched off. It affected the tone in a way that other pedals didn’t. Your reply implies you are more educated and/or have better ears than most other people, which I doubt.
@@dver4624The original works pretty well with synths... I wonder if the impedance was an issue for some guitars? Or... I once bought two EHX Ocean's 11 pedals (before Ocean's 12 came out) and they weren't even close. One was clear, great dry tone and reverb. The other one was very muffled, both wet and dry. There was something wrong with it, but if someone didn't have a good one right next to it, they'd probably assume it was just a very crappy tone sucking pedal. I returned the bad one, and told the clerk why, but I don't think he believed me! They didn't have another to compare it to, and I was NOT bringing back the good one, just in case it somehow would get swapped. All the functions worked on the bad pedal, but it was very muffled and scratchy sounding - much more lofi than a miscalibrated tone knob. What I'm saying is, correlation doesn't imply causation. It might not be the AD/DA causing the tone suck that some people seem to hear, on the original Nemesis.

Analogue dry through is always welcome. It's what many of the great sounding delays have. Also that Helix mode sounds like Steve Vai's Ballerina!
Definitely has an Eventide whiff about it hey!
That's for sure! I already ordered the Chase Bliss Reverse Mode C, otherwise I would be looking into this. Maybe down the road
Talk to me about the dual delay - if I’m running in mono, are the repeats in parallel or series die the dual delay?
That DRUM Echo though...damn!

That's definitely on my shopping list!!
Hey Leon! Oil Can and Binson Drum Echo modes are available via the editor on the previous Nemesis-are these modes updated on the ADT version, or did they just add them to the physical selector?
It must be a case of adding them to the physical selections. Is resonant on the rpevious version? That's based on the Carbon Copy IIRC
@@LeonTodd yep; Resonant Analog is on the previous Nemesis as well.
