Combining the Nemesis and the Ventris with a drum machine is one my favorite uses. For example with the Drumbrute Impact. Just the FM-drum by itself on a very slow tempo can produce otherworldly soundscapes.
i remember wanting one of these sooo badly, and the initial release date was supposed to be my birthday and i was gonna treat myself to one... needless to say they got delayed and i just never ended up scooping one up. i ought to rectify that soon, these things are so gorgeous.
I just scored one for $170 and think it’s fantastic. I’m running it in stereo with my avalanche Run stereo reverb and it sounds huge. Def want to try out the Venturi’s now, but noticed that one is far more expensive on the used market.
Great demo! Let me ask you something, would you think this could work for more dub-oriented genres? It seems like the tape or analog delay plus the modulations should do the trick, but I did not hear whether the pedal can get into self-oscillation, and whether that would sound good or not. Appreciate your input!
@@YukiTheSynthDragon Thanks! I was just watching another demo of this pedal from Bonedo Synthesizers, and I can definitely hear some self-oscillation and some grittiness, which is what I'm looking for.
I think some of most interesting algorithms are not available without the mobile app, like some interesting tape delays. If you have the pedal, you should definitely get the app! It's a wonderful lofi-style pedal for synths.
Such a great combo right there, sounds so warm and lush. Could get lost in listening to you playing for hours. I have both the collider and nemesis. Have you tried the Boss DD8? It is also a great delay for not much money.👍
This pedal must not be getting the hype the strymon, meris and others get. It sounds nice. I like it has a regular MIDI jack on it, instead of that god-awful TRS Type-A cables which apparently is a loose standard since Chase Bliss is different from Meris. SMH
It has been out for a while, too, so FotM has faded by now if it went through that phase 🤣 If you see someone showing off their pedalboard online, there's almost always some Boss, Strymon, EHX, Keeley, MXR, or TCE pedal present, at least one of these or a combination of, any other manufacturer is going to struggle having as big of a presence as those brands and the ones falling just behind them in popularity, but so long as Source Audio is able to make a profit, I'm sure they'll keep making great stuff for us all to enjoy and look forward to. We are spoiled for choice. 😎👍 I have the Ventris and love it, and I'm undecided on the Nemesis. I'll probably go for it later, just not right now.
Yeah, this delay is pretty darn nice! I use about half the settings, but the ones I do use are really nice.
Great video!
Thank you❤ Analog and Tape are far from the real deal

I don’t do dub stuff, I can state though the pedal can self oscillate if you set that in the editor.

YT keeps giving me auto subtitles, and the synth sounds keep getting translated as _foreign_ 🤣🤣🤣
yes, I have noticed that with a few other music channels as well

I have tried a dd8, it’s really good for the money but prefer things like the dd200 or 500. I have a video on the dd8.

The full size midi i/o is great.
