Thanks for the review.. Is this the same grinder that’s in the Kate PL82T? But in the PL82 u get electronic timed dosing and a portafilter holder for hands free dosing? Thanks.

Did you remove the hopper with the screw driver for any reason other than cleaning?
What do the numbers on the Hopper mean?
To set grind consistency, turn the knob? The manual says to turn it slightly clockwise for a fine grind. So by turning it more to the right, the finer the grind?

Just got mine brand new and the motor seized the second I put beans in there, not sure what I did wrong

When I put the hopper back after cleaning won’t the numbering system be changed. For example when I take it out the line reads 2. But when I put it back the line reads 1.5. Is there any way I can make it accurate again?

I own this grinder, an yes you are correct. When I remove the hopper to clean the burrs, I turn it all the way to its finest setting, mark the setting before I remove the hopper, and re assemble everything when I am done.

i was grinding my coffee. it averages 3 - 20 seconds grind yields 2.5 grams.... so slow..

there's a powder that you literally just pour into the machine followed by one dose of beans.

When adjusting the grind size, should the machine be grinding while making adjustments? Or can you make the adjustments while the machine is not operating?

I got one from you guys, one thing I noticed is the grinder can’t grind very fine on a light roasted beans but it’s ok if I change the level to course like 5, I use 2 on the medium roast and it’s perfect, but I like to clean and I can’t tell why I can’t remove the hopper to clean, I like to open it but I don’t do it. Can you please let me know.
