- Lawrence Wong says he aims to further renew and strengthen his Cabinet, and he is actively looking for new candidates with the potential to be office-holders. Mr Wong, who takes over as Prime Minister on May 15, announced his new Cabinet on Monday (May 13) and said he plans to rotate the 4G ministers to different portfolios to give them wider exposure and experience.

Health Minister Gan Kim Yong's refusal to release correspondence such as emails, memos, minutes of meetings between officials at MOH and SGH over the Hepatitis C outbreak in 2015 as well as the refusal to openly identify the officers who were at fault and the penalties meted out to them.
Prof Tambyah clarified that the SDP’s decision to launch its campaign was independent of recent leadership changes within the ruling People’s Action Party, including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s announcement of stepping down and handing over the baton to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong.

By promoting GKY and keeping HSK, it signals dominance of 3G team, lack of confidence in 4G team, power struggles, and distrust within the PAP. Singaporeans must know that this is not about continuity of government, but hold on power by LHL and his 3G team. LW is just another tool. In exchange to become the next PM, LW will promise to keep 3G team in charge. LW is also making use of this opportunity to sideline his fiercest competitors, CCS and OYK. Do not trust PAP. Do not vote PAP. Make LW a one term PM.
