It’s a layering trick to get them to line up easy. Add a star or dot about a half inch wide above the grouped image before cutting. After cutting, layer the dots or stars on top of each other and your image with be lined up perfect every time. Once you are done with all the layers simply cut off the section with the stars. I find it easier to do all the layers first before sticking it to the object.

Hi. This one is an old SVG I purchased when I first started crafting. I got it from Etsy I think. I’m in a lot of groups where artists sell their svgs.
Hi! Thanks so much for checking us out! No, I don’t seal my vinyl. It’s permanent and stays in place as long as the cup doesn’t soak in water or go I. The dishwasher. Now I have put a few of them in the dishwasher and they were fine, but if selling them, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Hi! No seal needed for this one. The vinyl is permanent, so as long as the customer doesn’t soak it in water for long times or use the dishwasher, it’ll last.
@@iCraftEverything I wish I could post pictures on here. I’m doing a Winnie the Pooh cup & the file I got is like an outline but then even the weeded out parts looked like it could be the design 🤦🏻♀️. Then my transfer tape wouldn’t pick it up

Do you seal your vinyl? If so, what do you use?

I put parchment paper to layer
I haven’t tried it. I might have to look into it. Thx for the tip

did you seal with anything so that the vinyl does not come up?

I do shirts, I have no clue about cups or permanent vinyl. I literally thought it would be easy until I needed to weed & then I confused myself
You CAN do this! It’s pretty easy once you get it right. You’re gonna mess up along the way. But it gets easier once you get the hang of it.
Which part confused you? Just like shirts, you have to weed. The difference is instead of ironing on, you attach with transfer paper.

@@zxcvbnmjhify oh no! Have you thought about trying a different svg? You can always pull the material off the cup and try it again.
