I already commented on this video but watched it again and looked up Nancy. Amazing Cherokee woman, propetic in her dreams about Indians walking a long way to the west, with white men following. She dreamed mother's carrying babies, fathers with kids strapped to their backs and even people who fell, not able to continue. That was a sad time. The church photo with the bands of clouds behind it is so beautiful! God & angels are in the clouds these days, and the beauty is breathtaking. Do you thank God every day because you are able to travel & take photos? (That's a personal question... don't answer) 🤫
7:25 That guy who was paranoid doesn’t understand art photography… and maybe has something to hide. 😄 Great images… the Sun flower with the table is the shot of the day! 9:12 Some other favorites… 10:01 10:23 10:41
I love the video! Sorry to hear about your encounter with that guy. I always like to think people have some understanding of their reasonable expectation of privacy, or lack of in public. But I guess that's not everyone. The reality is your are probably photographed from multiple angles simultaneously any time you set foot in a public place. You may as well look good in a few of them!
Love glimpses of old towns. I also loved the music you picked out Tim. Your photos are lovely and I especially loved looking in the window and the last shot with that old typewriter because I would also have photographed them.
Really enjoyed that vid. Never noticed any shaking. My fave was the black and white stair photo with the light fitment at the top. Keep em coming Tim. 😊
I enjoyed this, Tim! I noticed better colors from your vlogging with the R6MarkII immediately but unfortunately, more shake as well. Most of my viewers commented that they preferred the pocket 2 footage for its smoothness even though the a6700 had a better look when I wasn't moving. Maybe that new pocket 3 with its larger sensor is the way to go. I always enjoy your storytelling and I like the shots you captured. Great video. I bet David will like this one too!
Refreshing Photography. Love the feeling that I got watching it of being back in time. The music complimented the video settings of these older historic areas of the towns you visited. My favorite shots were inside the old train depot. The image of the desk with the window and the light coming thru the panes onto the desk was great. Also the Sign on the Sidewalk you got confronted on was another favorite of mine.
Really nice video. I’m recently retired, have time to shoot and looking for inspiration about small town photography. I think your channel is perfect for this. A big plus for me was the beautiful music you added. I’m subscribing and looking forward to more of your videos. Thank you.
Absolutely love this Tim, right up my alley!!!! New subscriber😀. I live in south Ga, so I’m surrounded by small towns and communities, so I’ve been trying to shoot as much as possible!!
You were 89 miles west and a bit south of Helen while at the car museum in Geogia. There is a cool waterfall in the Helen area... it's a bit of a climb but really worth it.
The difficulty for me of small town stuff is essentially the lack of actual human input/interaction. Tend then to turn it into too much of either a “historic building” or “not so historic building” study. But like a moonscape with historic buildings

Thanks, Phil! It felt like a blast from the past using a full camera to vlog. :). I’m thinking about the P3 for next year.
Just found your channel and instantly subscribed. Great video, beautiful photos.

@@TimChilders Hey, I’d love to share my adobe portfolio with you, if you’re interested. Is there a contact address I can send it to?
One of my favorite pass times! You can feel the history and memories in a small town image so much more. Thank you Tim! Lovely video ! Keep it up !!!!
Thank you!
beautiful way to pass time!

👍
i love the look of your photos. that's exactly what i'm looking for. is there a preset or a video of your post-processing? Greetings from Germany.
I haven’t made a video of my process except for a particular image here and there. Maybe I should do that!
Very nice video

"Faith and Football Hair Salon" is one of those business names that makes you go "huh?"
ikr?!?
arm chair traveler here...ty!
"The pictures I like." Enough said, but I like them too 😀
Nice, uncomplicated images
💯
Pictures during the day are tricky. Come back at the golden hour 👍
That would be ideal.
@ if I can avoid it, I rarely shoot during the peak 10am-3pm hours. The light is too harsh. Unless you’re going for a beach day or something.
