Wow this one brings me back to my youth and the bowling alley arcade I use to have birthdays at. This game and Turtles in time are forever tattood in my mind.
Wow!!! First time I know about the existence of an arcade Batman game!!! So many years and I thought only were made games for the NES, Genesis, and other home and portable consoles!!! Faithful adaptation from the movie. Thank you so much!!!
Level 1: "I'm Batman" Level 2: "Nice outfit." Level 3: "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" Level 4: "You weigh a little more than a hundred and eight." Level 5: "It can be truly said, that I have a bat in my belfry. .. Shall we dance?"

Never played the arcade version before, but the NES version is still the best, but it was completely different, and it was by Sunsoft. The arcade version has the Danny Elfman’s “Batman” therms, but the NES version doesn’t until “Batman Returns” for the NES was released. The music for the NES version sounded a lot like the music from Konami games.
To be fair, Burton Batman didn't actually *have* a no kill rule, he was a pure agent of vengeance in a story that didn't take the Bruce Wayne side of things remotely serious. It was basically the first time anyone had ever seen Batman be dark if they never kept up with the comics, so I kinda appreciate the baby steps it took. By the time of Batman The Animated Series, then we truly had a no kill rule firmly implemented for basically every version of the character. ...Almost every.
@@UltimaKeyMaster Let's not forget that Batman only killed Joker and Joker's henchmen , because Joker is the one killed Bruce's/Batman's parents and the henchmen are helping the guy who killed his parents .
@@Vrabsher_-Supreme_Perhinther- True, but Batman usually has a no kill rule on literally everybody. People tend to let it slide for Burton because he's not intending on telling a deep story, just a cool story. That and he did make dark Batman mainstream to let TAS exist, so again, he pioneered modern Batman for most people so...yeah, it's fine to just let him mow down these goons here.
I watched another longplay of this recently and it took the guy over an hour to beat, it was painful to watch. Glad to see a skilled player beating it.
@@dahitmann I feel like his sprite placement wigs out if you jump after him like it doesn't know where to keep him. Reminds me of jumping after your opponent in Soul Calibur if you ring them out.
This game looks rough. But, the musics is an altogether different matter. The composer managed to do some rather inspired covers of Danny Elfman’s masterful, cinematic score. Don’t know who did the music for this, but I hope they’ve been able to find steady work ever since. The industry would definitely be better off for it.
The programmers must have forgot and didn't catch the glitch that when you kick Joker off the edge of the cathedral while he's falling you can see the Batman Sprite in the wall when he falls which is hilarious
The Blockbuster Movie Is Now The Blockbuster Arcade Game Of All Time As The Dark Knight, Take On The Evil Joker, The Clown Prince Of Crime! And Now, Strap Up Your Utility Belt, Rev Up Your Batmobile, And Defend Gotham City, In Atari's Arcade Hit, BATMAN! Batman: I Am Vengeance, I Am The Night, I AM BATMAN!
Is the really bad framerate in this video due to the 480p encoding? Because the game runs MUCH better than this. The stuttering while scrolling is horrible :(

Same here. I loved the Turtles game. Another big favorite of mine was the Lethal Weapon pinball machine.
I worked there for two years, I remember you
And what about prehistóric island

Michael Keaton is and always will be the best Batman.
Hell yes. I still cant believe Ben Affleck is batman now.
2nd best Batman to Adam West R.I.P.
Robert Pattinson is Batman now. Affleck dropped the role long ago.
He had the coolest suit, car, cave and stuff.

Batman: Get In The Car!
"Be careful"
4:32 "Wait 'till they get a load of me."
The pen is truly mightier than the sword
That was a metaphor the joker used
"He stole my balloons!"
"Why didn't somebody tell me he had one of those things?"

The dialogue from the arcade game came from the movie.

Batman: not okay with guns. Batman driving Batmobile: Totally okay with blowing up cars with people inside of them with guns.

How come I was never told of this game's existence at all untill now
"i'm Batman" 😎 sem dúvida o melhor início de qualquer jogo do morcegão
Batman's like "yeah I'm gonna hide in the wall just to make ABSOLUTELY SURE he hits the ground."
Yeah what is that an emulation glitch perhaps? It looks hilarious as hell.

This is by far the most brutal Batman i have ever seen.

13:59 This is Batman!
Ahh Batman is awesome. He doesn't need special powers to be a true hero 😎
Many great cool heroes, and heroines, lack superpowers; James Bond, Zorro, Modesty Blaise, Emma Peel, Rambo, and Batman is just one of them.
Who’s says Batman doesn’t use guns?
Changed your username again World-of-Longplays cool.

Do you think Roger Rabbit will be happy to play this game?
If MCU Vulture got it's arcade machines?
I forgot there was an arcade version of this lol
