This is the amp I used in all the videos at Coast Sonic, I left it pretty clean in the other videos but in this one I explore how dirty it can get with use of the volume and built in attenuator. I'm actually not sure which model this is but you can check out all the Milkman amps here: milkmansound.c...

Proud owner of a Milkman 20W Creamer - I opened up a separate credit card to buy it and over time, it's proved to be worth every penny. I think it might just be the perfect handwired tube combo. If you ever get the pleasure to meet Milkman founder/builder Tim, it's easy to understand why these are such great amps - he's a genuinely great person. Dude has put up with years of my stupid questions before I even pulled the trigger. And he continues to innovate and inspire. After buying a Creamer, I was able to sell off a bunch of my amps that didn't come close to measuring up - somehow I still have too many, but I always come back to the Milkman.
@Wayne Michael it sure has!
Love, love, love Milkman. Bit the bullet and bought The Amp 100 after not liking any of the other pedalboard amp solutions. Expensive, but in my mind it is literally a perfect piece of gear. Try one out if you can!
@mightywaffle51 Can I ask how loud it is? I need quite a bit of volume on tap. I'm considering getting The Amp 100 and a 15" inch cab relatively soon. Cheers!
@@simonchidgey3215 Unfortunately I haven't been able to hook it up to a cab as of yet, but it's capable of 200w output at 4ohm which should be plenty loud for small venues and far more than you need for a garage or bedroom.
I need to get an attenuator for my Bassman RI.
Also, it took me a lot longer than it should have to realize the amp wasn’t sitting on a shelf next to his ear.
Damn me too, in fact it wasn’t until I read this comment 😂
😂
Yes....sold my 59 RI because its too loud for home
I know Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Braylen Alberto Instablaster ;)
The attenuation on that does a great job of maintaining tone when dropping volume. If I was looking for a Fender style amp I think it'd be hard to choose between the real deal and a Milkman.
I've been the thrilled owner of a Half Pint (5w, also with an attenuator) for about a month, and it has changed the way I play guitar. I have dozens of pedals from years of trying to get other amps to sound like this one does "naked". The only pedal I'm still relying on is my compressor, all the reverbs are on the shelf, so is my Flint and almost every dirt box. It's just the Keeley Compresor Pro, The Ceriatone Centura, and that's it. All my guitars feel new and fresh and ... finally at home. I got a pretty good deal on Ebay, otherwise the amp would've been unattainable for me. I'm so happy.
Hi Johannes...been looking at these. How is the break up on those at house level? The vids sounds good.
@@mookytc I play super soft most of the time (apartment dweller), so in order to get it to break up I already have to go above my (and my family's) comfort level, even with the attenuator. As mentioned, I use a Ceriatone Centura (Klon clone).
@@JohannesLabusch Thanks for the information Johannes!
@@mookytc But it is a beautiful amp, and you may want less breakup from it, 'cause its clean sound is so rich.
Everything sounded good on this amp with all settings.
The playing was nice too. Thanks for sharing.
As you tinkered with the attenuator I thought “who needs a distortion pedal?”
As you played the Reverb I thought “who needs an outboard unit?”
this thing sounds amazing, definitely enjoying the road case series, keep it up
Dude these amps sound amazing
Oh buddy, I love Milkman amps!! I kick myself for not snapping up that used Half-pint head at my local Guitar Center for $1200 a couple years ago.
Beautiful tremolo!!!
Your surf really knocks me out!!!
Such a great pedal platform amp, maybe you should comission a 60 Cycle Hum model.
Just take your Cord, stick it in, and have a good time for a long time. Thats what Ryan recommends.
This amp really suits your playing Ryan.
that vintage jag though.... ooh la la
Good stuff!
Awesome. Great video!
Iike the EL84 such as Vox amps to suit jaguars much better than a 6V6 or 6L6 Fender tweed based amp. Curious to what kind of bridge is on your jaguar?
That’s the solid state 50 watt Milkman right?
Do a test on the Milkman stand-alone Reverb & Tremelo unit pls. Not the pedal, the one that looks like an amp head with a full size spring reverb unit. Thanks!

That TREMOLèhh ! :-D
Great sounding amp.
Lovely reverb, and killa trem!
Don't usually like modern amp 'verb
How much?
That is too much... .
I love that grill cloth but don’t see it on the milkman website. Any ideas?
What is that gold "Lollypop" mic?
I think I missed it but which milkmen is this?
Spaghetti western starts @ 9:50
5W Half Pint $2299.00
does anyone else think it sounds like he's saying 'milkmen?'
he is.
talman, fillman, postman... congressman...
all can be pronounced the way he is saying milkman in the video
Milkmun
@@comajoebuck999 reminds me of that birdman skit from portlandia with bill hader
Milkm’n
I think it sounds like weak Crap!!! SORRY!
And the player is pretty Weak as well!
