Nifty trick with balancing the flashlight on the cup !
Hi! Just a tip, you could glue on black paper or use a black marker to colour the inside the cup. Theoretically the resin would set a bit faster because the UV light is not escaping through the cup and outside light will not get in. So the UV light can be concentrated on the piece. The cup tip is quite interesting and helpful!
Ryan Haquim Thanks Ryan 🌸
So you can handle the tape easier, just fold each end over about half an inch or 1 centimetre, sticky sides together. Creates a little non- stick handle on each end.
I like them all, especially the Turtle because I have a Tortoise !
Lovely and inspiring❣️
to help lay more even I use a toothpick, or popsicle stick depending on how big the loop is on the bezel.
Great video, easy to follow, just a quick question... why does UV resin stay tacky, what am I doing wrong. Thank you...
I have no idea. Perhaps you bought a bad bottle or didn't let it cure for long enough ?
The UV light needs to be able to pass through the resin. Sometimes, when we add things to resin, it can partially block the light. Pouring in layers might help. Also, curing the underside can help.
Hi you mention UV Resin what's the difference please? Also you said a flashlight. Do you mean an ordinary torch? I only have a heat gun what's the best UV or Epoxy Resin for these components? I'm very new to Resin. Only one so far on Final Cure but its large scale. I hope to be able to make some of these for gifts at Christmas. Sorry for so many questions.
UV resin requires UV light to cure the resin (think sunlight). They sell special UV lights for nail art.
This tutorial has been really helpful, I am just starting out with resin and watching tutorials while awaiting my products. Is the a UV torch you are using to cure the resin ? Haven’t seen that done before. Looking forward to catching up with the rest of your videos. Xx
Chris Harrison yes it is is. It cures in approximately 1 minute.
I guess Im pretty randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to watch new tv shows online ?
@Jayden Thiago i dunno atm I've been using Flixportal. Just google for it :) -colin
@Colin Braden Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !!
@Jayden Thiago Glad I could help :)
Is your resin mixed with hardner
That's what I was wondering? As if mixed with hardener. Surely you'd gave to do all at the same time?
Can you put colors in them
Leila Kirk Dietz-Olsen Yes. Just tint the resin with ink or pigments.
like the cup idea for uv light and keep dust out which there's a lot here do to the wood factory next to me 😡
