Our Lady of Guadalupe, patronness of the unborn, pray for Ireland 🙏 I was stunned when I saw them celebrating in Dublin castle, I never got over it. And not one single word mentioned in Mass about it. But God is in control, I surrender everything to God. Viva Cristo Rey 🙏 Our priests and Bishops need prayers and lots of them.
Although I left Ireland for France in 1988 I can say that the Saturday in May 2018 when the news broke regarding the referendum was one of the saddest days of my life. I naively thought when I was young that this scenario was impossible for Ireland, I always believed that the Irish would never accept this. There you are, I have to reluctantly put a lot of blame on the weak, spineless clergy (not all of course)and the watered down Faith they've been dishing out for the last 50 years, and also possibly the fascination people have for so called "celebrities" telling them how to vote, looking towards Europe and trying to be "modern", pathetic. Poor Ireland. Sad times, but we never lose hope.
I know someone that was American and is very liberal. She married an Irish man and voted for abortion and is bragging how Irish people don’t believe any longer. It’s just so sad!
Seeing people celebrating in the streets at the result was shocking and sad. And at this point the church seems to be no more than quislings of the state.
This makes me sad, no way should they have entertained him. The best thing they can do is pray for this man's conversion, so that his soul doesn't go to hell for eternity, nothing else.
Also from Pope Francis That path, he said, “sometimes must take us into those places of darkness and the desert of hunger and thirst, of indifference and abandonment, of spiritual poverty where God has been forgotten. We must go to these places to lead the people there out of the desert.”
THANK YOU SO MUCH ITS VERY UPLIFTING TO LISTEN TO A GENTLEMAN LIKE YOU SHOULD BE MUCH MORE OF US STANDING UP MAYBE THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF COMING TOGETHER PRAISE GOD WHO IS IN VONTROL OF EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD
He Archbishop Martin is a disgrace to his mission. Whatever his ignorance of woman’s issues or pressures, he is a 100 percent ignorant of the pressures of the unborn babies. Archbishop these babies feel pain and when they are murdered in the womb, they are deprived of life. Archbishop Martin how could those words come out of your mouth with such ease. You should have been on your knees begging God for forgiveness for our country. It was never safe, rare, or legal for them those innocent unborn in their mothers wombs. Maynooth has history, it doesn’t surprise me. As Catholics most of us were all too ignorant. We let it happen. Viva Cristo Rey
You totally misrepresent the good bishop. He campaigned against abortion. He was realistic enough to recognize that the referendum being passed meant abortion would happen, so was imploring people to advocate for as restrictive a system as possible. Nothing sinister about this. In fact some abortions are justified.
@@mikeryan7213 couldn’t disagree with you more. Do you support The Archbishops dancing mass as well. The Holy Mass is Offered in Memory Of The Once and for all time Sacrifice of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Calvary. He said to His disciples at the Last Supper “Do This In Memory Of Me” It is not a celebration or entertainment. The Holy Sacrament Of The Mass is profoundly Holy and should be Offered with respect. Our Catholic Faith has been watered down so much people just walked away. Viva Cristo Rey
@@johannachristinaodriscoll4236 and I couldn't disagree with you more. You show no concern for women with unwanted pregnancies or those who become pregnant following traumatic and horrific events like rape, incest etc. As for the mass, lots of people sing in praise of god. Many people in other countries even dance in praise of God. It is not for you to regard their praise and piety as any less than your own. In fact I would suggest that your spiteful and entrenched attitude renders you much less of a Christian than they.
Leo, You surely are a voice crying out in the wilderness😥😥😥💔😥😥😥. Your Archbishop it’s either evil I’m possessed we’re down right stupid. Just how safe is an abortionTo the unborn babies.
But Leo is only a figure head in this modern day saga. Abortion is wrong as is gay marriage etc. But Leo is just a peice in a jigsaw that has had so many flaws. What is the church teaching us today?, is it encouraging people to come back to the church?. A church that deletes the preciousness of the Holy host by passing it out on the hand willy nilly. Rant on all you want but if the roots are dirty this is the result, you need too look at the Vatican and where they are at with it all. 🙏🙏🍀
The point is it shows that's its a real and true BABY and not a clump of cells, as the pro choice killers say. Once the mother sees the ultra sound, she sees and knows that it is a baby, her baby and she will keep it not kill it. OK?
Low resolution analysis of the invite in my view, A brave invite by Maynooth , 15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees(D) saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”(E) 17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(F)

Thank you for speaking the truth
Most seminaries have uncatholic gatekeepers.

Great point at the end we need a monument and a campaign of reparation to go with it
Yes that would stand as a testament that we were not silent at Catholics
It's hard not to despair. Very hard. Thankfully we know we are on the winning side, but flip some days are bleak.
Is there an honest bishop with the faith left in Ireland?
God Bless You Sir 🙏
Mother Teresa said abortion is the greatest EVIL of all
My JESUS mercy!!

People need to wake up and see in America what 49 years of legalized has gotten us…what is rare now is goodness , truth, and decency…

It must be up in the 20,000's by now all the abxrtions so far in Ireland
Many clergy need to read Mortalium Animos.
May God have mercy on the soul of Fr Michael Mullaney and co for creating this terrible scandal
