It's amazing how far motorcycles have come along. In my day I raced TZ 350 Yamaha's and in the paddock 99% of the bikes were pure racing machines with the odd converted road bikes, now its the other way round with very few pure racing bikes such as the odd 125 or 250 and a plethora of production road bikes. For example, in 1988 Steven Cull broke the Isle of man TT lap record with 119.08mph on a grand prix production RS500 triple Honda, nowadays a Kawasaki 650 twin roadbike tuned is doing laps over 121mph!!!!

Funny you mentioned the stock clutch being weak. By brother had a zx9r that was always burning up the clutch. Nice job with the videos.

Hey! i know this might be out of place, but what gearing do you recommend on the 2018 R1 mainly for track (Almeria, Jerez). I trust your opinion rather than any other forum. Bike does 190 to the wheel, i was thinking 15/42 or maybe 15/43. Thank you !

Great bike build to use in motoamerica. Appreciate the description of every part you change and add. Have a question about the motec ecu, is this available for consumer sale and does it come already programmed with the zx10rr bios to run the bike. Reason I’m asking is woolich doesn’t have a flash yet and the krt ecu isn’t out yet
We do sell them to the public, but it's not a cheap upgrade. A kit like ours is $10,000+ not including sensors. We are actively working on an alternative.

Awesome video guys! Since you have experience with it, do you think the 2021 OEM tail plastics would be retrofitable to the 16-20 bikes? How tough would that be to do?
If you get the updated fairing stay, it would probably be pretty easy.
Hey guys have you ever looked into BDK racing alternators? If so do you think they can be ran on the streets? Also did you get the LITA version of the gearbox?
We are the US distributor for BDK. You can't use them on road bikes, no lights.
How many weeks do you think it will be until the 1st real dyno test to see what the real power figures are any idea how long

Thanks for posting this video. Are carbon wheels waste of money? I don't see anyone using them for racing but they are advertised as best upgrade on paper and so expensive
They aren't a waste of money, but we can't use them in professional racing and they also don't work with our swingarm. That said, they work!
You guys need to reach out to Chris Moore with Moore Mafia and his 2021 ZX10R Build. I think that would be a crazy joint build.

We've used them all, but we don't get too specific on that sort of thing with the public.

What bearings did you use in head stock
SKF ball bearings. Stock is fine.
Could any of these part's be used on a street bike and is there going to be a cam swap? The video was awesome and in depth.
Almost all of it will work on the road! We are doing camshafts.
What size rear tire are you running?

Who do you make these bikes for? Are you racing them yourselves?
We do race them and we'd like to enter them into MotoAmerica Superbike with the right rider and partners.

They don't shift as crisply and the old version was a little long.

Please add costs of the parts as you going through them.

@@SuperbikeUnlimited the directional arrow for the rear tire shows it being pointed the wrong way. If you look at 3:10 before the phase out you can see the arrow that cher yee is talking about.
@@brimal_rage rear slicks are commonly flipped. That's ok.

ummmmmmm!!!!!!!! Does anyone else NOTICE the rear tire arrow?!!! It IS Pointing THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it's a slick and I've reversed both front and rear tires bla bla bla!!
The shop may "do good work", BUTTTTTT in my opinion when promoting your shop/work, all I's should be dotted and T's crossed and arrows pointing the correct direction
P.S I also ride a WERA converted back to street CBR 1000RR and just bought in November 2020 ZX10R KRT!!!!! So I kinda' know my business!! I'M SURE Y'all DO TOO!!!!!!! So let's laugh!! because I'm not trolling and bla bla bla
